  1. 600 would be the monthly payment on the least as if it did all that the would not let us own it or heaven forbid make any modifications to it as that would void our least agreement. They probably will never sell them here as once we own something we do was we want, just like Cartman says. Yes I just used a South Park reference. It will be like the EV1, we should have had the option for electric cars long ago but they killed it. I am not saying that they are right for everyone but the option could have been there and the price would have come down, but that is a rant for another time and place.
  2. He is also on our side. He has an extreme dislike of zombies.
  3. Yup, makes me wants to apply for one and put pictures of GUNS all over it, perhaps a M2 Perhaps had I been in the armed service this would be a great one to use.
  4. There has been news about a mother eagle being killed by an airplane on April the 27 and I thought it was this one. I got on the web and found out it the one that was killed was from another nest in another state (VA). I thought I would post an update in case others might have heard the new and thought it was this one. Her young are being cared for and prepared for release in August. 5. I sure would like to see some of that Free range roaming bacon while I am out deer hunting. I told dad next year I want to plan a deer hunt some place were we have a chance to see a wild hog as I would be just as happy to get wild hog as a deer. I know most people use Dogs to hunt wild hogs, but I don't have a place to keep hunting dogs nor do I have time to train them and risk them getting injured hunting wild hogs. So I Need to just be out and hope to see one. I actually don't think I know anyone personally that has killed a wild hog.
  6. I would like a pair of those ugly ducklings. I don't believe the 258 MPG for a minute even down hill with a tail wind after I eat a Mexican Burrito. However, I would like it for driving back and forth to work.
  7. I think Franklin should succeed from the union, at least consider sub dividing TN into a a 4th state. We need another Star. At leave you would get some attention over there.
  8. I enjoy the HP movies, don't carry to read the books. However yes, pulling the trigger is faster then casting a spell.
  9. See, the Union blockade back in the 1860's kept the Europeans in the dark and now they think of us all as Yankees. Dam it. We know what a Yankee is, those that come down to visit and tell us about how great it is back home, yet they keep coming back more then we go up there. Seems they like it better down here then we like it up there.
  10. Good Reading material, thanks for the post.
  11. But we have a place for those in catagory number 3, it is called Florida.
  12. About the 4th or 5th paragraph ....I don't want to quote too much keeping with forum rules. http://articles.philly.com/2011-04-27/news/29478789_1_police-officer-police-shooting-shooting-range That is a sign of a good writer. Keeps you hungry for more so you will come back. To bad they forget to follow up with new material.
  13. Oak Ridge never stopped selling long guns.
  14. For the love of all that is Holy and the 2nd amendment, don't direct him to that person. I also think it is odd that they some how tacked on a lifetime ban on a HCP in hand writing, as OP stated. Sounds like they didn't even brother to type that part up. Sounds like maybe you need a lawyer that is well versed in TN firearms law. I wonder who hand wrote it into the plea. I am not a lawyer but sounds like you could probably reply but then you would be violating your plea deal which is what would put you back in a pot of boiling water.
  15. Another reason CC is better the OC when it is allowed. Out of sight, out of mind.
  16. As I read it the guys gun was unloaded, planning a trip to the range. This being in the wonderful state of NJ, he was probably unloaded trying to play by that states strick rules. I am not even going to bother to look up the rules for NJ.
  17. I can see it going the way Dolomite's theory plays out. I kinda had that in mind as well, just not as detailed. However, as it has been stated, how many people are really going to believe in this day and age a person dressed in plain cloth shouting and pointing a gun they are a LEO. Take in to account what he was probably wearing since he was helping someone move into a house a cross the road, he probably was not wearing his Sunday best. He probably was wearing older clothes, probably something I would wear when I help a friend. The guy probably may have thought he was being robbed and may have just been retreating in to his house. However, one thing that does back up the LEO is the the shots hit Taylor in the Chest, so Taylor must have been facing him during the shots. There are so many maybes in this and since I wasn't there I could play the maybe game till the cow's come home so I am going to let it rest for now. Perhaps Taylor will recover and be able to tell his side. I do expect a lawsuit either way.
  18. I think the sheild around Y12 over Oak Ridge held last night, seems all we got was rain I feel bad for those that got it worse.
  19. Oak Ridge just had some strong wind/ thunder and lightning and heavy rain. Been listening to my Scanner, so far nothing major. But I hate it for those that are having it worse.
  20. Still sounds like it was the "tiger" that was obstructing traffic.
  21. Yea so by not signing it seems the arrest would be legit once she was using the nosie ordiance. However, seems he beat the nosie ordiance, not sure how everything else went down and I don't know enough knowlege of the law to know if beatting that makes the arrest invalid or not.
  22. well, since the charge was dismissed, the judge brought it. Seems like the LEO was the one obstructing traffic. BTW I heard about this today as well ***** I want to ask a LEO a related question. I know signing the citation is not admitting guilt, but is there anything that can be done if a person refuses to sign a citation on the side of the road? I assume you can arrest? *** Edit, never mind I looked it up. signature works as an O.R. (Own Recognescence) bond, Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_happens_if_you_refuse_to_sign_a_traffic_ticket#ixzz1KlnLzVDS
  23. I keep sitting here in Oak Ridge and listening to the weather and nothing major is going on here, then some one calls in to the Radio station about 4:35p.m. I know this as I had just picked up my wife and the second wave had just pasted over us. The radio, WIVK put this guy on and he told a tale of how the sky was getting darker and the clouds had some rotation to them, I looked at the sky that was getting brighter and ask me wife do you see what he sees? She said no, I said now see don't believe everything you hear on the radio. I really don't like it when they let everyone call in to radio shows and give live reports as you get unconfirmed reports from people that just like to hear themselves on the radio. We barely had wind during the first 2 waves that went though today in Oak Ridge today, so far. We have wave 3 coming now. I am not saying Radio stations should not warn people, I am not saying that at all, I am saying that should not try to turn it into ENTERTAINMENT at the same time. Perhaps that should get some reliable people in different locations that the contact when they need a report instead of just random people.
  24. I know exactly what you are saying, in this thread and in another active thread in General Off topic I am being very careful on what I say in keeping with forum rules. This is one of those times I feel if I totally lay it out and don't check myself, the mods may not be happy with me in either thread.
