Don't mess with granny. Before my Granny died she slept with a 38. From the time I was a kid I alway knew she had a pistol and as I got older I understood more. One day about a year before she past my mom and I was talking and I was ask if I would want anything or somehow it same up if I would want anything. The only thing I said I would be interested in was that pistol. I had never seen it, which was part of the reason. Come to find out everyone in the family wanted it. Even not family wanted it. (Most don't know who got it, but I have it)

Here is the New Wild Hog Regulations. Now to find me some place to hunt this fall. Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - Feral Hog/Wild Boar I am happy to say the humors have been true. *********** EDIT now that I have read More, I am not so happy and ready to complain. See below

It was a hunting trip and I would have rather slept in the truck or in my sleeping bag like I had planned. Dad wanted to sleep in a bed and well we slept on bed as we decided not to get in the beds. I will give a Hint on that Motel/Inn. Someone famous from the Grand Ole Opry is from near by. 20 years ago, during Deer season you could not get a room, they were booked a year in advance. Last year dad and I took a trip down there and the deer were so thin we left after scouting. We saw a few on some posted land as we drove by. Dad though the guns would be fine in the truck over night, I over ruled him and said Hell No, they are coming in, if only for self defense. We were the only customers that night.

Today I just happened to drive though Norris Dam state Park and they still have signs up No Firearms I told my wife that does no apply to me, as it is a state park and I have my HCP. That is an old sign that just has not been replaced. We only saw 2 times, one on each side of the park. I believe it was along the lines Firearms and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. I told her the way the law was written they don't have to change the sign until normal maintenance deems the signs needs to be replaced. However I will be very interested if they replace the signs at such times which correct signs.

Another List we don't need to be on. I stayed at this place last year in 2010, it had a bad smell. I slept on top of my sleeping bag.

I don't think I have been to one seen the mid 90's myself and it was bid and pay exactly what you won. I was smart enough to know what I was willing to pay and not go over. Probably because I started going with my uncle for years. I remembered going and coming home with nothing and still having a good time. I guess I was hoping to find something like that still going on. I guess those times are being a thing of the past if they are not already.

I wonder does anyone ever go to in person auctions any more? I remember growing up, even until I was around 20 going to several regularly little local auctions. Never new what the people would bring in. It was generally fun to go to these auction houses. Some times the same bidders we be there, joking around with the people before around, sometimes the auctioneer put on a good show. Different sellers, check out the stuff before hand and have an idea if it was worth staying. I have petty good memories of one of these auction houses. Anyways, the ones I know of are closed and no longer there. But I was wondering if anyone knows of any regular auctions that might be in reason drive from Oak Ridge. I am not talking about land and houses. Nothing that grand. Just the type of auction they almost back the truck and run bids though and you never what kind of junk you will see.

I will have to check but I believe Ground Hogs are open year around and allowed to be taken with centerfire. So if you are out hunting Ground Hogs and a coyote comes along you know the drill, . If A is True then B is True. Dr. Seuss strikes again. This year I plan to unleash Hell on Coyotes and Wild Hogs.

Best Post yet. Really I don't think you are allowed to talk about guns in New York. That place it like foreign Country. Different laws and everything. Probably not safe to drink the water either.

How about this. Last Page. For those with a valid HCP on alternating Sundays we meet at the range after worship. Bring your pistols, ammo and cleaning supplies. Refreshments will be provided. (Serves notice to the nut jobs and might encourage more members to attend.) I know I know probably jumps out at you to much. Sorry I can't really help write one to limit firearms or weapons, even using the Bible, on Luke 22:36. I mean if you put something like you may not bring any firearms in to our building, implying to leave in the car. That is one option. However other people can as long as the place is not posted. As others have said, if you post their Church, they may go to another Church or stop going.

Great job on that. Sounda to me they wanted to leave those up as a deterrent and you called them out on it.

Today I walked in a crowded Credit union armed. I don't guess anyone noticed. I sure didn't show my cards. I love my Credit Union.

Ever read the fine print at Gander?
vontar replied to 93civEJ1's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Yup, I have carried in there and see others open carry in there. I have wanted to open carry my Judge in there just because but I rarely take it out of my home unless going to the range and I go to gander a bit less. -
"Unregistered Gun"? AKA-Run for the Hills!!!!!!
vontar replied to ffr1910's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Maybe it is Ch 5 for a reason. We all know I am not a writer so I can take the hit for this. Yes but the reporters bias is showing though, unregistered makes it appears something is wrong with the gun. I am going with what JMB said. -
I like them but not planning to buy one any time soon.

Mother Mistakes Small Gun for Cigarette Lighter, Daughter Wounded
vontar replied to JimmyMac483's topic in General Chat
Look at that News Story, It almost writes it self for the anti' gun people, seriously, in the Town named "Banning" I have this Theory of News Events and Stories every so often coming around were peoples names or events are related to the story are in the story. Just a few examples bobbitt- enough said. madoff-- enough said. McDonald's Manager in this News story Last name is Burger --Car slams into West Knoxville McDonald's » Knoxville News Sentinel I have had others but I can't place them at this time. Over time I just find it interesting that peoples names, events are just so fitting for the news story. -
That and the mountain of Dumb Dumb pills they are eating in Washington.

At least he didn't say anything bad about Cheeseburger Cheeseburger. I have not been in a few years but when I go, I always stop there. My picture might still be on the wall. I ate the pounder.

probably. At least in TN if I am carrying a pistol I have to have my HCP. But lets forget about the pistol. Sure I don't have to carry ID (if I am not doing an action that requires ID, going armed, driving(yes I am aware some states knowing your Driver license number is enough)) but I thought when ask by a LEO I had to give my full legal name and I was not allowed to lie. Seems by not giving his last time that was giving the officer enough just case if he wanted to pursue further action.

Cheese burger, cheese burger. Ruby falls, incline railway is interesting for a first trip and 3d imax and the aquarium is pretty nice if you like that kind of thing. Edit to put cheese burger first. BTW, it is close to imax and aquarium. I guess you will be in nice driving distance of Hero Gear.

The District of Columbia Would Like To Sell You A Gun
vontar replied to MikePapa1's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I was having a similar Idea. But remember DC is a swamp and didn't foreign diplomats receive hazardous duty bonuses for living in DC. I think now days we would need that just because it is so corrupt. -
There is allot of things they put in writing and publish to the web that causes emotional distress and creates allot of victims.
