  1. Keep in mind this is a 4th event, however this one is in South Carolina. http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-05-17/news/31753493_1_necrotizing-fasciitis-flesh-eating-blood-infection
  2. Isn't tuna just Chicken of the sea? anyways you made a good point about how serious some people are.
  3. I would not have used a taser, they acted to save the man that was being attacked. This time the officer if I remember right shot 5 times and only hit the intended target. Time at the range paid off. I bet that morning he wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary and certainly not being on point with an attack like this.
  4. I know I am late to the part but I want to at least jump pin Maybe 44 oz drinks make me happy and are not hurting anyone else. Just tonight I had two 23 oz beers (46 oz). No harm not foul, I had a ride home even thought I didn't feel anything. Therefore I did not prevent anyone else from being unhappy. Personal Responsibility.
  5. Yea I agreed with Hershmeister. Plus the zombie gun they made. In my opinion they ruined it by painting the skull white, Should have left it chrome.
  6. I hate them for many of the reason already stated, such as short yellow lights. I have actually told my city council after they put them in, I think their should be a civilian group allowed to audit them. I have seen the camera's flash when there was nothing in the intersection. I don't believe they are accurate and due to the number of times I have seen them go off with nothing around them I would like a report of how many false alerts they get. Those inductive loops in the road, I don't believe they are speed accurate, just on the way they work, a big truck verse a car it has to pick up different, however I don't have the resources to prove anything like that.
  7. I know a couple of springs back home that have very good water with no houses near by. There is one I haven't been too in a couple years but I would not go past it with out stopping for a drink. It is a 10 mile 4 wheeler ride just to get to it, at the bottom of a mountain that no one lives on, there hasn't been logging or coal mining above it. It is great. There a few others I know that are very good as well. But natural clean springs are getting harder to find, (good clean ones). Here at my house I have our drinking water filtered. One day I would like to look into a better filter.
  8. From the time I was little, I remember my uncle saying people that do stuff like that to others are worse then animals. Animals if they kill it is for a reason, but when people do that, they are lower then animals and should be treated as such. Personally I would tie them to a chair and turn Shannon's Dad lose with them. Anything they get is too good for them.
  9. If you haven't noticed the format of these good shows, I will highlight it. Both Red Jacket and American Guns had good first seasons. Then they had to drama to both. Same thing with OCC Choppers, ok, there was always drama but seems the shows are now all about the drama and less about building bikes. I quit watching. There have been other shows, they get you to watch the first season and then they crash it in season 2. Like the Deadest Catch, do you really believe they are all competing like that with each other, Boats of different sizes are going to run different. sure they don't want another boat fishing where they are. Same with Ice Road Truckers, the dash for the cash and stuff. Gold Rush, season 2 and beyond will be more drama. I wonder if COAL will come back, or the moonshiner show. There with auction hunters with Allen and Ton, it was pretty good, even though you didn't believe it. There there was at least 2 or 3 knock offs, (storage wars, Storage hunters, or Auction hunters) Watch them and it is all drama, Hey I am going to run the bid up just to screw them with that locker. TV is really getting bad. They have 100's of channels that they have to fill up 24/7 and the Crap is getting in, Jersey Shore ( never watched it). Roll up your pant legs now.
  10. I agree. I would be in favor of bring back public executions . After the last state(KY) passed laws against them, the then Gov. said "Our streets are no longer safe." Read more: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2011/08/12/after-75-years-last-public-hanging-haunts-city/#ixzz1vqBz1V3F The last public execution in the use was in 1936 and last passed in 38 ending them. Don't get me wrong, I am all for finding out the truth beyond a shadow of doubt before putting a person to death, but when their is enough evidence to support it, and they lose their appeal, sentence needs to be carried out. However I am also about forgiveness and I would support 1 or 2 years for the person to get right with his/her Maker. (20 years far to long) They didn't waste20 years on on Timothy Mcveigh. Around 6 total.
  11. Progress and redesigning inventions is a good thing.
  12. Other then Numbers it is dumb. We do use the arabic number system. The only way a person will Learn a foreign language is if they want too. My self I didn't.
  13. I can run fast. Certainly not faster then a thugs bullet if I turn my back to run away. This will not pass, except. In NY maybe.
  14. 20 hooded youths Time to ban hoodies.
  15. But no Skittles. 3 on 1. I hope they find them now, as we all know that should be a hate crime. I would love to see the trial to see if they would even call it that.
  16. Yup, 2 of them one by the red car and another about a quarter mile down the road,
  17. I don't know but what ever they do, a few years later our guys want to do the same. Remember it started with cameras in LondonI believe, they started putting Camera's everywhere in public. It was only a few years and we started doing the same. However we are not to their level of cameras yet. We have more and more camera's in public daily it seems. BTW, if in the future they try to barcode me, I guess that will be the day I no longer buy things in the stores. But look on the bright side, you would not have to listen to anyone say “papers please" which should appeal to the environmentalist since no more cut down tress for the paper.
  18. Well that is a dream you can make happen anytime you want. lol. The last time I was stopped, he ask me if I knew how fast I was going. I had an idea but in my polite southern accent I just said Honestly I don't exactly know. The number he came back with was pretty close to want I had in mind. Like others I had already accepted in my mind I was getting a ticket. He ask me a few follow up questions, Very professional and non threatening, he did all the call ins and checked then gave me a warning with he would like me to slow it down a bit and even advised me where the posted speed limit signs I had just recently passed were. I actually believe I have slowed down since that stop a little over a year ago. Just yesterday I was driving on a road that was posted 55, but it was a not the best of roads and not one I drive allot. I looked in the mirror and found myself being followed by a county sheriff's car. I checked and I was just doing 45. I didn't change. He followed me about 5 miles and pulled over himself.
  19. I would never buy a refub. hard drive. That is a gamble. It has failed once, for what ever reason and they are just trying to recoup their lose on it. Over the years I have found the best bang for the buck is around 100 dollars in price. Under a 100 and you are generally paying more for Gigs and over about the same. Also win XP maxes out in ram about 3.2 or 3.5 depending on the patches you have installed. You can certainly find drives cheaper then 100 and with less gigs of storage but before you buy compare it to ones in the 100 dollar range.
  20. Well, he was expecting a happy ending not sure if he got it, but he certainly got an ending.
  21. The cool look is the main thing, it came with a thread protector. I took it out and got it dirty today, only about 100-150 rounds or so, not one misfire. I was shooting with my wife and she was using a walther p22. At first we were using the same ammo, bulk Winchester from walmart. I know what people say about that ammo but that is what I always ran in my rifle. However a while back we noticed the walther ran much better with stringers, Today held true to the pattern. My wife had a couple misfires using the bulk stuff. I had her switch to Stingers and she went though 50 with out a misfire. I fired a couple stingers in it as well and you could really feel the difference. But for the record and from what I have read, it does not appear to picky on ammo unlike some others. I am planning to change the sights and grips. I want better then stock sights and I want some cool grips. I may have found the grips I want already. I have a feeling I need to look into and see what other mods people do to 1911's. I might like to change the trigger, something other then flat black. Maybe a finished metal look. Also if you didn't notice, it has a rail as well. I probably won't use it at least for a while but it is a concern when looking for a holster.
  22. I picked this up the other day. I have not even had a chance to get any gun power residue on it yet. It is a GSG 1911 (.22 Cal) 10 round mag. Fake surpressor. I plan to get it out this week and put some shots down range. I am already planning a few changes, adding night sights and changing the grips.
  23. Highway Robbery. To be honest they are the ones with the guns as well, so it is highway robbery at gun point in a sense.
  24. I know most of us don't have this kind of Cash on hand but still unless caught doing something illegal, one should not have to prove it is going to be used legally. Seriously, we don't arrest people before they comment a crime. Having money in cash should not be proof of a possible future event. This is a broken system.
  25. I believe the first was the Paterson Revolver and made around 1835/1836. http://www.ha.com/c/...?releaseId=2087 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Colt
