  1. I wonder if that makes spent rounds tax deducible? (its for the children, once a very scary phrase)
  2. TrickyNicky, you hit the nail on the head, especially about Vince. It made good TV in someone's opinion, not mine.
  3. But at the Walmarts I go too even though they don't have "official" door greeters there is normally a Walmart person about 10 feet inside the doors who is normally the former door greater that usually speaks to you while they pretend to do something else. It is almost like corp walmart done away with the job and the local walmart's have found a small loop hole to keep it. BTW after I slept on this, I don't mind showing my receipt leaving a store, in a since I am in their house and their rules. If I don't like it, I am free to go someplace else. Maybe that is the first sign I have been tempered to the changes that are coming. I hope not.
  4. wow that got dug up, updated 12/30/2010
  5. You know I saw that, and opps a few eps back they said they where not a class 3 dealer.
  6. I am glad to see that. Unless you are breaking a law they should not even try to detain you. Welcome to the new America where you have to show your papers. It will only get worse.
  7. I have thought the same thing. I paid less then 400 for my express tac. 870. Sure I don't have the light on it, or a custom trigger but I promise it goes bang when needed. Did you see the one where a guy had I believe a 7mag totally rebuilt only keeping the action? I have been meaning to go back and rewatch that one. The guy was dumb to have one totally destroyed to make a new gun out of 1 part of it and for what he paid. He should have just brought what he wanted and had 2 guns. I like seeing the guns but I feel they do a disservice plus they had to add drama with the gun smiths this year just to follow TV format.
  8. We have know that, however this is just another great example.
  9. You are right, I mean, get them used to being registered while they are on the inside to ensure when (if) they get out they will have fond memories of bubba.
  10. Neat. I had an idea to build a small boat that would fit in the back of my truck, but considering I have a short wheel base ranger and I am not a good carpenter I figured it was not a good idea. I thought I had a few good ideas but still didn't think I could pull it off.
  11. understatement. I feel in the past couple years we have really lost place in being a world leader. That is change we can do with out.
  12. You know Al and Jesse are a little busy right now playing victim. I guess this one is left up to someone else to pick the cause, I don't expect much media coverage.
  13. cough, you mean Jack Rocks, 2 bent nails tac wielded together. Not that I would know anything about that. 3 points on the ground, 1 always up. They look allot like Caltrop. Not that I would know anything about these other then I remember a coal strike where both sides used them on a public road. Everyone not involved in the strike was mad at both sides. No I am not saying to use them either. I got one in a motorcycle tire.
  14. It would be interesting. I would think Insurance would be the big one. Also might want to set it up as a business at least a LLC if not a full Corp just to protect yourself from liabilities in the unforeseen event of trouble. Would have to have a complete set of rules. Hipower brings up a good point, might have to give the vendors a break on the first show or 2 to see how many vendors you can draw and what kind of buyers you can pull in. It could big a good business if all things come together. You would probably need some professional help in setting up all the correct licenses, insurance, etc. If I had a location I would consider it. I don't have a location.
  15. Analong_kidd, that is something it took that long to get their attention. In general I am fairly soft spoken but if needed I can raise my voice to a level of demanning attention. I am sure your friend would have been doing the same. I have never been to coal creek and probably never will. Glad I joined at ORSA.
  16. I just wish I had come up with it.
  17. I ask the girl tonight when they got their ammo shipments indicating I would come back and buy more on a good day, she said daily but just want ever is on the truck.
  18. Wow now that is a good read. One thing I noticed is why is the 27,000 pounds of Lead Bricks on the 6th floor? Just from a design and planning I would consider putting that on the ground floor or basement to lower the weight on the structure. Notice they said the lead was reclaimed from fired bullets from firing ranges. Swords to saving children.
  19. Lately I have been taking my wife to the range allot and well we have been burning thought .22 cal. With both of us putting lead down range. her about as fast as she can load it. My supply of .22 has dropped allot. The last time or 2 that I have went to Walmart they had like 1 box of 100 round CCI, 1 box of 225 round Remington. 1 or 2 boxes of stringers. They didn't have any of the Winchester 500 or so round boxes. It felt almost like they where not saying they had a limit of 1 box per person but felt like they where only going to show they had 1 box of everything I ask for. Other stuff looked thin to me but I didn't need any of the other stuff. I know as it has been going, every pay day I am going to buy a bit of ammo if I need it or not. With 2 shooters in the family I know it will be used.
  20. I have been seeing this and the more I think about it, the more I like it. http://selfreliantnetwork11.blogspot.com/2012/07/28th-amendment.html
  21. That will probably happen at a later date after DCS investigates and the media gets more wind of this.
  22. I would be interested. I live pretty close. Not sure about time but if time permits I think it could be fun.
  23. agreed. Just wow. even though from the sounds of it she confronted them, that was pretty dam cold blooded of them. If willing to shoot someone for that, I bet they already have a pretty ugly criminal history.
  24. Or buy him a box of ammo.
  25. agreed. maybe an unsecured gun in a holster similar to what ohshoot posted and if person A jumped on persons B back and the person B person bent over forward. Screw it, no, can't say it happened like that either. Guns only go bang when the trigger is pulled.
