Judge allows paralyzed dad to sue Glock
vontar replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I have a thought on that, with even signatures anything can be put on the ballet in CA. That is how they keep trying to legalize POT. Just get the same people to get the signatures put on the ballet and vote in Equal Heath Care for everyone in the state of CA, equal to what their Senators and Congress get. I bet they could get voters for that. (Did I say everyone, I guess that they would vote that even for their illegal immigrants. ) Then the state would go even more broke and that fake utopia would be fixed. -
You and me both. I have an idea on how I want the AK 15 designed. Pretty much like an AK47 using stainless steal parts, so it would be even more reliable then then old standard AK47.

Aurora Shooter NOT wearing body armor

You know, maybe the FCC should start charging the media Fines for such inaccurate reporting. I mean if the FCC is going to fine them for showing a tit or fowl language, I believe accurate reporting is worse. -

LAPD officer should have been trainned to know how to property secure his weapon. Under the seat of the truck is not the best idea. Second, why did he remove the child seat? I thought there wear laws that required child seats for kids under a certain age/size. Seems an officer would know that as well. Just another example of person A, doing something dumb, getting hurt and suing person (company) B. Then the Jury,(judge) Awards person A large sum of money for admitting how dumb they where to hurt themselves using a device in an improper fashion causing personal injury. Then they punish company B because person A found a new and interesting way of hurting my them self. BTW, I used to ride motorcycles allot and I turned them over my fair share number of times. I never once considered suing anyone. It was on my fault and or doing. I bet that knife didn't have a safety device either? Just mirror the other cases. -
I believe some are run thought Power Line internet. My parents like on the TN/KY border and get their electric from KY. I forget which company. Anyways a few years ago they installed new meters on everyone in the area that automatically report back. Mom's has a blinking light on it. Before they installed this everyone in the area as I grew up, read their own meters and sent in the number with payment for the previous month and they came by and checked them about every 2 years in person. I suspect it is power line internet that sends the signal back but I can't be 100 percent sure. I know there is no cell phone service or cell phone internet in the area. It is not connected to the phone line either. I was hoping it was a step toward power line internet for rural area's as I can't get high speed internet for my parents. Hughset is not a solution in my opinion.

Aurora: Anyone notice something wrong with this picture?
vontar replied to sigmtnman's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yea I remember reading on CNN on the outside of the link it was referred to as an AK47 like weapon or similar and then inside the article it was told to be a AR15. My thought was they had to work in AK47 just because they could and more people outside the gun community would know that name quicker then an AR15. Plus everyone know the AK47 is evil right? I remember seeing the AK47 on the top 10 guns and they said it was so reliable that even John Wayne would carry one because he was practical. They guy said if he was going to an Alien planet and could only take 1 gun with him, it would be an AK47. But even though it appears to me he had a AR15, their is allot of talk about the AK47. Not that the type of gun means much but they probably feel it would be easier to try to ban an AK47 because people associate it with evil. Inanimate objects are tools at the very best. Evil comes from the person that holds the tool. That is why we need more sane people to also hold the correct tools. -
Buy me one and I will pose in the video. Just kidding. But I like it, and as a bonus it works on ghosts too.

JOURNALISTS GUIDE TO FIREARMS IDENTIFICATION

With our Media I am surprised they don't call an actually AK47 a glock and everything else an AK47. -
If they ever tried, 300 year later people will still be digging up caches of Guns and Ammo.

Isn't medicinal marijuana still illegal under Federal law? OK at some state levels but the Feds can still cause trouble?http://www.marijuana-as-medicine.org/Alliance/leg-tall.html

I missed it and it is closed now, but they NO ban seems to have won, 19.4 percent to ban 80.6 to not ban. 747 Yes 3856 No I believe they got the opposite of what they expected, normally they put the Yes option where they want the poll and this one went the other way.

I do the same exact thing. Sounds good

The defense could probably be it happened before a complete showing, arguing that the shooter had not seen the movie to even have a chance to influence him. (mind you I do not know how much of the movie played but I figure a midnight showing Thursday/Friday night was probably still in the first screening when the shooting happened) The guy was clearly disturbed before as evident in the advanced planning and premeditation.

I swear NY is another country and he is the one the elected. I am having trouble putting into words what I think about him.

Just wow, Of course those 9 do. The people in Washington don't care, it isn't their money they are spending. Ray Stevens says it right here -
A City government should not be allowed to DICTATE what legal business is allowed to Buy or Rent property and setup a legal business. That is on the edge of a dictatorship. If a business is not asking for a hand out from the local government and they rent/buy the property the city should have no choice but to give them a business license.

This is why our prescriptions Meds should be much cheaper them they are. Example I believe my migraine meds are like 200 dollars for 8 pills, with my insurance I get them for 35, but still you know they can't have that much expense in making them. Since these companies get grants they should be able to produce/sell them much cheaper. Back on Topic I agree with out he appeared on TV, looked drugged up and they didn't even bother to do anything to his hair to make him look normal. I am sure they are going for the insanity plea. However their was so much premeditation, there is no way I will believe insanity even though the act it's self seem like an insane thing to do. Difference is premeditation. My uncle always said something when a killer got off with insanity look at what he did, and if he didn't know what he was doing he couldn't have done it. My uncle would say he could not load a gun if he didn't know what he was doing. He couldn't have made those bombs if he didn't know what he was doing. My uncle would probably continue with if he didn't know what he was doing, he would have blown himself up trying to make those bombs. He CLEARLY knew what he was doing. -
Very possible, it appears the owner was shot in the butt. (hey you knew someone would say it)

I agree with R_bert. I will say I am almost concerned both Left and Right seem to agree it is not a time to bring up gun control or new laws. With both sides agreeing, that in it's self is a reason to be concerned. -
