I am just waiting to see when they old signs are naturally replaced due to age and decay if they are replaced with out the No Firearms or if they will try to sneak that back in on a new sign. So policy seems a bit grey, at least different in different areas of the state or depending on how the officers feels. However, things are changing. In the past, when I have been stopped for minor traffic violations, they only checked me, the driver and never checked ID or anything of my passenger. Best advise I would suggest would be get a police scanner and listen to them. That will give you an idea of the radio part, but you can image other job duties, Answering phones, doing back ground checks, checking warrants, coordinating with other departments, Fire, EMS, electric, gas, water. I hate to say it but that is not a job I would want. I find Tech support high enough Stress.

What a Nut. When I clean a gun, not only do I check it, but I even show it to my wife and let her check it.
