I understand the 1911 comes in different calibers. I have a GSG 1911 .22 that I really like. But if I get a 1911 in .45, would it be .45 acp as apposed to say another .45 round.

I am looking and considering getting a 1911 in .45. At least the ones I have looked at, they all shoot. .45 acp.? I want to to know if all 1911 .45's are ACP? I am probably dreaming a bit but I am really taking a hard look at some of the Kimber 1911 conceal models.

Well since you are in Lafollette, there is a nice range near The City of Norris not to far from you. You pay at the city of Norris PD/fire station. Pay per visit or yearly. If you go to Oak Ridge often, ORSA is a good range (requires membership 120 yr I includes immediate family).
