Congrats on the 60lbs. You have a good Idea, I have not had red meat for 2+years. I think I will go out and get a steak and do the same thing.
I did not know man could live with out red meat that long. I feel for you.

When my father-in-law was visiting a few weeks ago, He happened to see my small stock pile of .22 shells. I think he was mildly concerned until I told him my wife and I go to the range and go though a minimal of 500 a trip. A large number of .22 shells is nothing. Found on the web. related to the riots, pretty sure it is a joke but funny anyways.

Marine Corps helicopter pilot sues over Wyo. traffic stop
vontar replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Also seems the cop was misinformed on the states carry laws concerning open carry. The ones that enforce laws need to have an understanding of what the laws are. -
That explains allot. They will do the exit polls early in the day while I am at work. No wonder I have never took part in an exit poll.

This is only question about traffic stops and consent involving a gun. This other thread got me thinking about something and instead of hijacking I thought I would try a new thread. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/54590-marine-corps-helicopter-pilot-sues-over-wyo-traffic-stop/ Anyways, I have heard from people i that have been stopped with a HCP and pistol. The police seem to always take the pistol back to their car and check it for stolen. Wouldn't that be a violation of search and seizure under the 4th if one does not consent to a search? I understand sometimes an officer disarms a person for the duration of a stop but can they legally proceed to check the gun on say a simple traffic stop or that going to far? I am just wondering where the line would be drawn. In a way I feel if they take the gun and disarm you, at that point you have been searched. Even if it was an order from them not a request.
Well when I called and asked they said they wouldn't give me any info on why I was denied.
I guess that department does not need a phone line. I guess we can cut some government spending there as we have heard similar reports of being unable to get information over the phone on what happened or status.
You need to carry liability and uninsured motorist as the minimum out there with the crazy drivers on the road!
Also the difference on liability and uninsured motorist 50,000 and 100,000 coverage isn't much. There are allot of expensive cars on the road today.

I had heard of albinos before but never black deer. (btw, you are not allowed to shoot an albino in TN)
Albino Deer: Hunting, trapping or possession of albino deer is prohibited as set forth in TCA 70-4-130.
I am almost surprised they didn't include black “melanic†deer with that.

well, since it is a pirate thread. Long ago, when sailing ships ruled the waves, a captain and his crew were in danger of being boarded by a pirate ship. As the crew became frantic, the captain bellowed to his First Mate, "Bring me my red shirt!". The First Mate quickly retrieved the captain's red shirt, which the captain put on and lead the crew to battle the pirate boarding party. Although some casualties occurred among the crew, the pirates were repelled. Later that day, the lookout screamed that there were two pirate vessels sending boarding parties. The crew cowered in fear, but the captain calm as ever bellowed, "Bring me my red shirt!". The battle was on, and once again the Captain and his crew repelled both boarding parties, although this time more casualties occurred. Weary from the battles, the men sat around on deck that night recounting the day's occurrences when an ensign looked to the Captain and asked, "Sir, why did you call for your red shirt before the battle?". The Captain, giving the ensign a look that only a captain can give, exhorted, "If I am wounded in battle, the red shirt does not show the wound and thus, you men will continue to fight unafraid". The men sat in silence marveling at the courage of such a man. As dawn came the next morning, the lookout screamed that there were pirate ships, 10 of them, all with boarding parties on their way. The men became silent and looked to their Captain for his usual command. The Captain, calm as ever, bellowed, "Bring me my brown pants!!

Jim Beam's, Devils Cut. I had to try it tonight and I have to say it was much smoother then I would have imaged. It had good favor. I can't really describe it other then I have enjoyed a few shots tonight. The first shot put me back in my place a bit as the favor hit me. Anyone else tried it, opinions?

I agree with RoadKill, as long as they do give a free ID card (for voting for those that don't have ID already) at the DMV I am OK with voter ID required. Until 2 year ago, my mom didn't even have a valid ID, she doesn't drive and never needed one. -
Since I'm from the government has been used (my favorite). "its for the children." "think of the children" From wiki, Doing something "for the children" is not a logical fallacy of itself, but if used to avoid logical debate, it is a thought-terminating cliché.

I used mine back in august. actually it was an accident. I had recently used it for something and had put it on top of my DL by accident. normally under it. They didn't even hesitate. I honestly didn't notice until I was putting it away and noticed my picture was turned side ways.

Four dead in salon shooting in suburban Milwaukee

She ask the court for help 3 days before. http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/23/justice/wisconsin-shooting/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 Police can't be every where. I wonder if she even warned her co workers that she felt she was in any danger. -
I guess criminals really do return to the scene of the crime.

That 120 is for you and your family, wife, kids. As Garufa, pointed out, it is because of Y12 being on the other side of the hills, concerns for high shots is the reason I have heard. Not sure if true but I have heard in the past a few may have landed on the wrong side of the hill. I have yet to shoot on the 1000 yard range but I have stood back and looked down range and it is a sight to see for sure. I do plan to shot on it a bit later. Also the 1000 yard range is not always open. They use the same range for other set distances as well. I don't know the stepping points but say, sometimes they might be on 400, 600, 800 or something. I believe they have a schedule they follow for theses. I need to check the calendar again.
