1. Hate to say it but if a customer filled out the card before buying it? Then the card was tore up? Smells as fishy as a bait shop to me. I never filled out a warranty card on anything until after I was at home.
2. And it begins
3. wow, there is allot wrong in that news story. This part really brothers me,
"Just last night, a sergeant and a lieutenant came to the Philips household wondering why they were willing to speak to the media, and kind of wanted this to be buried, and we don't think that's an appropriate response," says Lamonica.
[background=rgb(255, 255, 255)]Then the part about the police going back days later and writing a ticket should just be tossed out on those grounds alone. (anyone ever get a speeding tickets 3 days after the fact? (not counting photo camera speeding tickets))[/background]
4.
Three employees of the network or its Miami affiliate lost their jobs because of the changes.
Hmm, that line was out of place in the story or seems like an admission of fault or guilt by the network.
5. Well, what he meant, is for Illinois citizens to not have a gun, not himself
Trotter later voted "present" on another measure that would have softened the penalty for getting caught with a concealed weapon.
(he should be prosecuted to the highest extent the law allows, I believe he would be honored to prove the legal system does not play favorites and I am sure that is what he believes based on his voting record.)
6. Yep, one of my Facebook friends shared this with me yesterday as well. My reply was Lets see, Our founding Fathers understood. "Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day , events, occurrences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that's good." George Washington First President of the United States
7.
It was a emt or paramedic in his own vehicle rushing his wife to the hospital. A tdot camera showed the guy speeding through a intersection at a very dangerous speed.. The officer handled the situation fairly well from what I remember. It was obvious what was going on when they got to the ER. The Chief stood Firm behind the officer giving the ticket, it was dismissed and I don't remember anything else ever being said.
Actually the one I was referring to was back several years back and an officer followed an ambulance to the hospital and then wrote a ticket. Let me look and I will see if I can find it. well, I can't find the one I was thinking of. I found the one you referred to and I know that is difference because it is much to recent. The one I am thinking of was order.
8. I hope everyone here able to use duct tape, bondo, and bailing wire better then me to keep their cars and bug out vehicles on the road. I have to get my part someplace and I believe most retailers have similar polices.

Genealogy

allot of libraries have genealogy research aids available. A library in Knoxville told me if you have a name of a relative that fought in the Civil war they could probably locate information. The one I am thinking of is between the Worlds Fair Park and Gay Street. I don't know the exact address. I can find it if I am driving. Searched I believe it is Knox County Public Library - Lawson McGhee Library 500 West Church Avenue, Knoxville, TN I have been meaning to go look up some people.
10. I once heard a guy buying 9mm ammo and joking ask if it was good enough to kill a man and the guy behind the counter with out hesitation just said no, those are only good for punching holes in paper.
11. Well that is because of Cost and profit, It is cheaper to make them from plastic and profit from selling replacements.
12. Even with more to the story, placing a boot on an ambulance is just plain dumb/wrong/insert your own verb. Had the patient died from a preventable cause due to the delay I believe the person that did the booting would be on the hook for reckless homicide or similar charges.
13. Good work Sam, @Mike That is similar to a fix dad did on a Honda Fat Cat engine one. He was riding and caught a leaf spring under the motor just right, flipped him backward and when it was all over, he was fine but the motor had a nice big hole in the bottom.. They patched it with JB weld and it held for years.
14. That business at a minimal should be required to hang a sign about what they did for all their customers to see. If there is any law that can be used against the business/employee it should be done. I guess ambulance and firetrucks a wide berth. I heard of a case where an officer gave an ambulance driver a ticket in Chattanooga for running a red light rushing a person to the hospital. I heard when it got in from of the judge he told the officer he didn't every want another ambulance drive in his court room, that one day they might be going to his house. (I work with a person that was in the court room and I am sure my paraphrase was not a direct quote)
15. I like bacon as much as the next guy, but I don't want to be mistaken for bacon.
16.
I want to pay off more debt. We will be debt free 26k from now. Cant wait. We will be banking all the extra cash.
About the same here. If/when I get this monkey off my back I will be much better off.
17.
A long rifle gets a $25 gift certificate; handguns earn a $50 gift certificate, and a semiautomatic weapon will bring a $75 gift certificate.
Only people that actually turn in guns are harmless people that don't know any better. They don't actually get guns that are in the hands of criminals. But I guess they know that.
18. some recycling places will take them. I believe they pay scrap metal price per pound. You won't get rich. I know one place in Oak Ridge but I know it would not be worth it for you from Nashville.
19. Hand crank, radios' with solar and the options to recharge cell phones. example http://www.amazon.com/Ambient-Weather-Emergency-Flashlight-Certified/dp/B0071BTJPI/ref=sr_1_fed1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354464284&sr=8-1&keywords=radio+hand+crank but there are many others.
20. Thanks Murgatroy, I listed to it about the last 45 minutes. Every time i just about dismissed it, something was said that made me wonder. One of which they started talking about him surrendering at 10:30 p.m. and at 10:19 on my PC, he said it was 10:20.
21. I really believe the job of the VP is amusement.
22. This link was just shared with me, there is a stand off and it is being broadcast on the web? Is this real? I just got it, I don't know what it is about. http://www.baltimorespectator.com/ EDIT I listened to the end, no sure if real or just a good hoax.
23. 2. What do you mean my credit card has been denied.
24.
http://en.wikipedia....i/Samson_Option
I had heard of this before.
