  1. That is just wrong in same many ways.    It is only like they are applying Sex Offender ideas to gun owners.   One it will show criminals houses to watch that they might be able to steal firearms.
  2. I ran into that last year at Walmart.  However once time they matched an online discount that I had missed with out asking.  The online product came with a gift card with purchase.  So the racket is some items and not others.       I used to work in a Computer store and I learned that quit but from the other side of the coin.   We sold HP printer that we had in stock.  (I might have the numbers wrong now)  It was an HP 720, however Walmart had the 721 or other slightly higher number.  Same printer, same parts, same driver.  However people liked the Walmart one better because they believed it was a newer model.
  3. normally I see it coming, but got me.
  4. I don't know details but I understand I might have a firearm coming my way. I may suggest it be an extended loan.
  5. every child is different and times are different. When my dad was 8 he had his own .22 that he carried everyplace. When I was 6 dad started letting me shoot under his supervision and by the time I was 10 and after I took the TN hunter safety course he started letting me keep a .22 and .410 in my bed room. (only shooting with him) By the time I was 12 .410 upgraded to 20ga and I had ammo for .22 and 20ga in my bedroom and I was allowed to go shoot outback anytime on my own as long as they where home and I let them know first. So depends on age, where you live, how the kids act with firearms. I cannot answer that for you. First make sure they have full respect for it. Also make sure they know the proper way to clear a weapon. Far to often we hear, I didn't know it was loaded. Someone things they cleared it by racking the bolt before removing the mag or some other issue.
  6. Question, gifting a firearm to a family member that you know is allowed to own firearms. Are there any restrictions on gifting across a state border? Should it actually be transferred though a FFL? BTW, yes I know about loaning over a board is fine, as well as inheritance does not require a FFL. BTW, it would be KY to TN if anyone needs to know. I don't think that matters much.
  7. But But But I thought the Mayor supported guns?   http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/bloomberg-there-not-anybody-s-defended-second-amendment-much-i-have_690864.html
  8. Yup, I like Dr. Michio Kaku a bit more.  I can follow him pretty good.
  9. enjoy.   http://rkshows.com/south/tennessee.htm
  10. He killed Pluto.  I haven't forgive him yet.
  11. Can I just paint the word Friendly on mine and be done?   But I will take some of those Assault socks as well.
  12. Yes and The Learning Channel will stick with Honey Boo Boo.   :surrender:
  13. What shows will the History and Nat Geo channels show on TV now that they can't run doomsday predictions about 12/21/2012?   My wife nicknamed those channels the "We are going to die network."
  14. I am pretty sure it is not done on the side of the street.  One could only image the lawsuit if unsafe medical practice lead to infection.   I have heard local officers take them to a hospital to have blood taken.   I remember a few weeks ago a big deal was made about them having a judge on stand by to sign warrants if the person did not volunteer a sample.     If you want to worry about DNA samples being taken.   http://www.aclu.org/free-speech-technology-and-liberty-womens-rights/newborn-dna-banking
  15. This is no time to be a tree huger.  We can plant more.  :D
  16. The only concern I would have is would it really be considered used if brought at Walmart and resold?  I have over heard others talk about buying it and it is still new in box but after paper work is done, it is considered used goods.   Free Market supply/demand sets the price.  I guess we are used to big stores like Wal Mart not reacting as fast to the market as others.    Plus what is the replacement cost to restock that AR in the future?
  17. well, not sure if this counts but it is heavy enough it could be used as a weapon.  Swing it around by the strips and it would have some knock down power.
  18. I used an ugly as hell ruger .22 pistol It wasn't a Mark II or 3.  It had no Mark.  I think it was every as old as me. Dad once dropped it in a barrel of acid that eat away most of the finish and he tried to refinish himself in the early 80's.    It wasn't pretty but it shots well. I out shot my small class with it.
