  1. I am good at home.   Ammo?  lets call that a check food?   Check Warm fire going?  Check Back up light sources?  Check   items that use rechargeable batteries, check   I am ready for a bug in.
  2. 30.06 maybe,   I have a .270 model 7400, but if I had it to do over I would probably suggest the 30.06 mode 7400 or what ever the current model is.   edit second thought, it you are wanting to shoot cheaper, probably not.
  3. Red     I had the same thought but thought it was a little early to put on my tinfoil hat.  Now is just as good a time as any I suppose.
  4. Bad timing no matter what.   However CNN this morning with Robin Mead did say that the NRA did not said the ages +4 and up..   She told that they app does have gun safety rules stressed in it.
  5. How dare he bring all those children around all the secret service Guns.   I am getting tried of typing secret service, can we  abbreviate it?   Think of the children.
  6. It needs to be law, that they are not allowed to call late night sessions to pass bills in any level of the government like a thief in the night.   They are stealing Freedom from The American People like a thief in the night.
  7. SOB.   Another Gun Free Zone.
  8. Hey don't knock it, lasers are not controlled by the ATF here. They are controlled under the USDA.   We might have to step into the 21st century.
  9. Myself I really want to shoot the AA-12. Full Auto 12 ga.
  10. Remember Kids, don't go full retard.   Have to stop at Semi or else it is an assault retard.
  11. I sleep well at night, with my doors bolted and a pistol on my night stand.     I believe Obama is the one that needs to re examine. As many of us have though, he has had in his mind what he is going to do.  The whole task force things has probably only been to find out what he can get support for so he can plan the rest of the attack on the 2nd.
  12. They came up with that as it is less then 10.   BTW, any bans that effect everyday citizens should apply equally to police.  As far as I am concerned they are citizens as well, just with a different job then me.
  13. OS normally hits the nail on the head.
  14. I know my walmart in Oak Ridge has been out of most common items for weeks.   However I have been able to buy .22 Mag every time I have went in lately even today. I also noticed the price of .22 mag went from 11ish to about 12:50 ish. in the last 2 weeks.   I think they are holding it back as I have been in there and got the last 2 and the next day there was more. (seen that several times) Today when I left they had at least 8 boxes I could see after I got 4 boxes.   (I had checked online and saw clinton has some .223 and .22lr Friday night, I drove down there Saturday morning and it was gone.  The lady was very nice and told me they did get some off the truck and it was gone in about 2 hours, both .22lr, 223, and 9mm.
  15. 1.  The Journal created the map. 2.  The map in short said, here you will find guns.   3.  The responsible home owner had a safe.  (they can't say he was irresponsible in any way. 4.  The home owner took the high road.  "The victim, who is in his 70s, told Newsday on Sunday that he did not want to comment while the police investigation continues"  Priceless.
  16. We knew it would happen   I am very glad to know he had a safe at least.  They can't claim irresponsible on him.   I hope he names everyone involved at the new paper in a lawsuit.
  17. I like what I read, however I agree with AR.       What source do they have?  I am not believing it yet.   I want to believe but I must have an eye problem as I ain't seeing it.
  18. sent mine too.    They made that super easy.  I sent to everyone there was an option too.   President Barack Obama (D) Vice President Joseph Biden (D) Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) Rep. Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN) Gov. Bill Haslam (R-TN) Lt. Gov. Ron Ramsey (R-TN) Sen. Randy McNally (R-TN) Rep. John Ragan (R-TN) Atty. General Robert Cooper (D-TN)
  19. My wife pointed out that it should cost republic credits not US Dollars.    Don't point that mistake out to Washington as they will see it as another way to go further into debt.
  20. yup, I agree with that.   I am going to add at least a small amount of solar.  This first bit will probably be used as learning and for outside power items but could be run indoors if needed   However it is going to be summer before I have the cash to invest in this.   I really think for now I would like to feed the grid and get my .12 cent for kilowatt hour or whatever.  minimal batteries but that is also still a pipe dream at the moment.
  21. I found it odd that they notified him via email.         Jayc, as far as SCOTUS is concerned a few pages back I linked about 3 examples.  It all came down to a verbal threat may not be a "True Threat."  They drew a line on that.
