  1. I don't understand why when some people are ready to go, they want to take others with them.   We see this over and over.
  2. I know we have a drink of choice thread that comes up every now and then.   However just for tonight, what is everyone's drink for the Super Bowl tonight   I have the New Budweiser Black Crown.  Honestly I don't expect anything speical but what the heck. As back up, I have Jim Beam Devils Cuts
  3. you got me.   I guess I kinda expected it.
  4. I watched the price of .22 mag go up about 1.50 in a couple weeks.  They had mags and I was buying them every trip and the price just keep creeping up.
  5. I will be watching it.   I had to say it but not a big football fan, but I will have it on in the background.
  6. I was able to pick up 4 boxes of .223.   1box limit per brand so I was able to get 2 for me and 2 for my wife  2 for her 2 for me.   TulAmmo is 5.27 a box American Eagle is 11.27 a box.   I am not saying they have allot, probably won't last Long. When I left there was at least 2 boxes of each left that I saw.   No 9mm, or .22 lr or mag.     I just felt good to finally get my hands on some.

  8. With all the flooding in the north east lately I would not want to jump on one.
  9. Wow, never before this ever heard of a bullet going off by being dropped that I believed before this.   Now I need to look at and revisit the story from a few weeks ago, although I think they tried to claim that one a few weeks got shot instead of just exploding which make is instant subject to disbelief.    Sounds like it might have been a pack of those CCI bird or rat shot.  I have been able to find those but dang they are 2 expensive.  I like to have a few around but I don't take them out just to shoot by any means.
  10. Perhaps there should have been a 21 gun salute right after the preacher pronounced man and wife.     :D
  11. I think the hunter had lasik and they installed sights directly in the eyes.   Notice he has both eyes open for true 3D effect.
  12. I shared that on my FB,   Prefect example of criminals expecting an easy target and getting bit in the ass.   See Guns really do make crime dangerous for criminals.  When they don't know who is and isn't armed they have a higher chance of losing. Society benefits from an armed public.  Even is person B does not carry, they benefit from hurd immunity by the fact that criminals know their is a chance that person or that home might be protected by a gun.
  13. It fell like that here in Oak Ridge too.   I walked to my truck and saw the start of the snow.  Drove across town and had to fight slick roads to get home.
  14. Well documents signed like that are signed under duress would not be legally binding (for the record) but if something like that would get the kid free then by all means. However I am not aware of any demands that have been made so far.
  15.  I have noticed several him writing left handed before, as well as President Clinton, I believe President Bush Sr as well   I used to have a coffee mug, high the left handed, it is fun to watch them write.   Edit, looked it up   Left handed Presidents   James A. Garfield Herbert Hoover Harry S. Truman Gerald Ford Ronald Reagan George H.W. Bush Bill Clinton Barack Obama
  16. next personal bunkers will be against the law.   This guy could probably hold up for months.   He has already proved he is a better prepper then myself.  I don't have a bunker.
  17.   Spock now uses Gun to to shoot Lizard if Lizard has the Scissors or not.  Therefore Spock wins.
  18.   Yup, plenty of warning signs on that guy. I was liking this idea until I read the other related posts.   Seems like there should be some kind of gas that could do the trick with out risk to the kid.     If he has one Air pipe, he probably has another.   As far as sending a bullet down the pipe, it may have a bend in.   However, if he were to kill the kid, I would say pump as much water in that bunker as fast as a firetruck could deliver it.  I would not risk anyone else.  However I really hope it does not come to something like that and hope the kid gets out unharmed.
  19. You know, they need something to shoot all that ammo they brought up last year with.   I just wonder how many are going to NOAA.  :)

Are you sure.  I heard corporations are now people, why can't my guns be people.
  21. I don't know if this would be an option but maybe if they could be serial numbered if they are in limited production.   Maybe a new coin every year.   I am no artist but later if you want some brain storming ideas I would be glad to pitch in.     I got that idea after seeing a one I was bidding on go from my high bid of 16 to over 100 in a couple hours on Ebay.  It was an official USS ENTERPRISE Final Deployment Coin and was serial numbered.  Over the years I have worked with a few people that Served on the Big E and though it would be neat to have that one.
  22.   They will be able to do the background check for you.
