What is as Scarce as 22 Ammo, 223 and PMAGS?

legislators with any sense. -
Optimum ejection is to the 3-5 oclock position. if it is going foward the gun is likely slightly overgassed. Basically it is a matter of which point in the cycle the rifle is ejecting. If the rounds are going foward then it is ejecting while the BCG is returning foward. I'd wait till your new carrier comes in and see if it is still the same. If your new carrier is heavier it may go back to being around the 3 oclock position. As long as it's reliable you dont really have to change anything, but if it bothers you you can always change out the buffer to a heavier buffer, this will slow the BCG down and likely get ejection back ino the optimal zone. Also what ammo your shooting can alter the ejection pattern higher pressure rounds will result in a faster moving BCG and vice versa.

for a good medium sized bag with MOLLE, i would just go with a ruck sack. You can find them on ebay for decent prices, but if you dont mind a little drive you can find them for cheap regularly on campbellyardsales.com

The problem is that people always want to take it to far, this would be a perfectly good idea if they said lets carry signs instead of rifles over our shoulders. As it stands all it will do is instill fear in the masses. It will appear as if the firearms community is trying to use intimidation to get their way.

Need help identifying a few magazines
c.a.willard replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Hmm not sure all the high power mags i had were the side hole ones. The rear witness holes ones should be a little lower due to the cant of the round though. Id say its pretty safe to say there high power mags, the followers and everything else looks the same. Sorry i couldnt be of more help. -

talking number two and three. On the brownig high power the notch should be located on the fron right. I can't tell from you magazines but you should have holes either on the right side linear at the 5 10 and 13 round count positions or some have them on the rear in a zigzag . The mag release notch should be slightly lower than the 5 round mark. but not quite as low as the leaf shaped indent -

Number 1 is definately for a beretta 92. I think your probably right about the other two as well. Is the magazine release on the front right just a smidge below the 5 round mark. -
yea but those guys sure know how to pitch a tent.

last estimates i saw for gang and drug related murders were in the 60-70 percent range but i have seen statistics all over the map some as low as 30. That one is a hard stat to nail down because of reporting. Only confirmed gang/drug related homicides ever get reported so there are a lot of likely gang.drug related homicides that are unsolved or not necessarily reported as gang related/drug related

I really wish that people wouldnt just compare homicide statistics. If you look at total violent crime the UK is the worst in Europe and one of the worst in the world. Way worse than the U.S. in total violent crime. In return for their lower chance of being killed. Lets compare the 2010 study as that is one of the most recent. The US had 4.2 homicides per 100,000 the UK had 1.2 Now lets compare violent crime UK 2,034 per 100,000 to the US wich is at 466 for the same time period. The UK also has a slightly higher sexual assault rate than the US and a higher rate of home invasions. Now i'm not sure about anyone else but i will gladly trade a slightly higher murder rate for a significantly lower rate of violent crime.

Feists can be extreamly stubborn dogs. I own an american treeing feist and i love the little turd. Alot of your dogs behavior may be more related to the move than to the 3 year old. This breed can be very slow to grow accustomed to change, that does not mean that they cant deal with it it just takes some time. As long as you have time to i suggest simpler means than pain based training. Forced interaction with treats is a good way to start also a squirt bottle works as a good pain free method of coreective training. The biggest thing is rewarding the good behavior. I also would recommend avoiding small kennels as most terriors do not do well without room to move around. Try switching him out into a large breed kennel.

I would recommend using an auction. Set your reserve price at whatever you feel the rifle was worth two weeks ago and allow demand to determine what the rifle is worth today. I have a few Pmags on gunbroker now that i set the reserve at 8 a Mag since they were used. I expect they may bring more than that but if not i will not be upset because i have gotten good use out of them.

Black powder shotgun, need help identifying.
c.a.willard replied to 173rdABN's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
the 18.2 is could be a metric marking wich is roughly .716 inches or just a tad bit smaller than a 12 Guage bore. The crown/X is a coutermark thats from around the 1850's. -
If you only need it for a specific caliber i recomend the sightmarks boresights that go in the chamber.

Los Angeles to offer groceries for guns???

If you want to add that kind of item to your preps id take a serious look at the M40 series pro mask. Since they are the military issue mask there a alot of them on the market for relatively cheap. Added to that is the fact that canisters are readily available for them for a variety of possible enviornments. Remember no single canister will protect you from every threat. If not the m40 i would find something that accepts the standard 40mm threaded NATO canisters as this is the most common canister threading

Los Angeles to offer groceries for guns???
c.a.willard replied to GoneBallistic's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
My issue with gun buy backs is that their anonymous nature tends to have a lot of people turning in stolen firearms. This is good in that it gets guns out of the hands of criminals, but bad in that these guns may or may not be returned to their rightfull owners and offers a easy way for criminals to sell stolen property. It also stands to reason that it will only cause more thefts and the likely distruction of guns used in crimes that could have been usefull evidence. -
I have one that i rarely ever shoot. It's biggest detractor is that really loooong trigger pull as already mentioned. Thankfully its not a very heavy pull and is relatively smooth. The only reason i dont shoot it more is that it was a unit order commemorative gun. If you can find one for the right price and dont mind the trigger then go for it. There cheap because o the particular way there made. One of the reasons they are cheaper is because the polimer frame. Another is that there is less engineering and machining required for a doable action only pistol. There isnt a whole lot of aftermarket stuff out there for them. The P250 did win a Dutch contract in 2011 that was later recended. From my understanding the contract was conditional on a change to the 250 that after testing was deemed unsafe. The original P250 is a perfectly safe and usefull pistol. I have to say though if your looking at a more budget minded pistol there are probably better out there. If you can scrape up a little more money and like sig's take a look at the sp 2022

The E over LG with a star under it is a leige belgium proof mark from 1811-1892, the fact that it says real twist in english indicates that it was made for sale in england if i were to hazard a guess id say its probably manufactured around 1840-1860. Unfortunately during that time there were a lot of small manufacturers in Belgium so you may never know who made it. In a few of the pictures there is a soft yellow ring would this by chance be inlayed gold. The fact that it doesnt appear to have corrosion on those areas would indicate that it is actually gold inlay. Typically that is only found on higher end guns from the time period. -
Welcome to TGO, check out montgomery county shooting complex. Also i see your tag says military if you have MWR priveledges (retired, reserve, active, dependant) you can check out the personally owned weapons range on FT Campbell.
