  2. Carl has always been very nice to me. A couple years back, a girl - friend of mine bought one from him. A few months later that gun was stolen from her car (yeah,I know). She called police to report it stolen but was unable to give them the serial number as she never took the time to write it down (yeah, I know. She's a blond). Shortly after that, I stopped in his shop one day to look around and got to talking to him about my friends stupidity. He remembered the girl and knew exactly who I was talking about(she's a blond ). Anyhoo... a few days later I stopped in for something else and to my surprise, he handed me a piece of paper with that serial number on it Now, I know he doesn't get a ton of sales in that place, but it was still allot of work to have to go through his books to find that serial number. It was something he didn't have to do. He did it just because he's a good guy...
  3. Which is all the more reason to vote in those who will work with the other side. Just think of how much happier you would be with the HC bill had bipartisanship occurred instead of both sides saying 'all or nothing'.
  4. Two pages and I don't think anybody read past the thread title :\ To answer your question Arch, I used to do some business with the Gobble family. As far as 'everyday people' is concerned, they are about as everyday as you will get. I would vote for him based on the few non-political interactions I've had with them. I would also vote for him based on his dealings within the Sheriffs Dept. The other two you mentioned would not get a vote from me. One is an attorney. The other a loud mouth. I would be too afraid that she would be more concerned about runing her mouth against Dems then she would actually work. Rep or Dem, we need bipartisanship to get things accomplished. I doubt she could do that with all the bickering...
  5. Not to be a dick, but you need to put the gun away and sit down with someone who is knowledgeable about firearms before the gun becomes damaged (more so then now)or you get hurt. Guns are not something to be learned about from trial and error. The wrong error could be a fatal one...
  6. A quick google search revealed that bushings are made of synthetic rubber or polyurethane. O-rings are made of Elastomer. Now, I'm no rubber expert, but as far as oil deteriorating rubber, I think that depends on the grade of rubber and whats it's constructed of. There's lots of rubber on a cars motor that comes in direct contact with oils and grease...
  7. Condoms are made of latex rubber. O-rings are made of elastomer (Elastic Polymer). Pag oil and Ester oil is used in A\C systems where o-rings are used at every fitting to ensure the high pressure refrigerant and oil does not leak. They actually contain additives that will 'fluff' up an o-ring. Regular motor oils also commonly contain o-ring additives too,FWIW. If it works to keep o-rings in good working condition under the high pressures of an A\C system, I think it will do just fine for a flashlight o ring. Knowledge of o-rings brought to you by an ASE Certified A\C Specialist. Knowledge of condoms brought to you by an avid user...
  8. Well, I don't know if it started out as a pistol or rifle Contender. If that a pistol Contender, he can't put a stock on it regardless of barrel length. If rifle, the pistol barrel is in violation.
  9. Potato chip sandwich with a side of potato chips and a Bud Light. Anybody want the recipe?
  10. I've got Thin combat Alumagrips on mine.
  11. A bit of Pag oil goes a long way with o-rings (or any oil, really).
  12. I kept hitting the recalculate button untill the best one came up. What does that tell you about me? Anyhoo... Sickness Quotient: 59% Your Sickness Quotient" of 59% is hardly cause for concern. Detailed Diagnosis Interpersonal Insights Everyone likes you. This is because your life is such a mess that everyone else is relieved they aren't you. You never give up and refuse to settle for less than the best. In other words, you're impossible to please and you never shutup. Job Performance & Attitude Your work is of such poor quality that your manager is considering replacing you with a machine that flushes. You frequently mention terms like "core competencies" and "paradigm shifts" while at work. Stop acting like such a tool. Personality Insight Your personal motto is "It's better to ask forgiveness than permission." And you would certainly know. That sounds about right. I did feel good about myself, now I just feel damn awful. My life sucks. I'm going to drink in excess now and hope to wake up without a hangover. Curses you random internet test...
  13. Ok, I'm not spending very much time on this now, but now I'm done. No more!
  14. There's no pleasing you, is there
  15. Better? And no, she does not have an arm pit. It's easier to remove a tat then it is to replace it with a donor arm pit

Been awhile since I've watched it, but I do remember BA getting shot once. Murdock ended up giving him a blood transfusion in an animal hospital, all the while fighting off a biker gang and the MPs. You sir, are not human if you don't like the Dukes!
  22. I'm gonna try to make it out for this. Just checked the CoF and I do believe it's gimp worthy
  23. Don't forget the mocking of Marswolf. I liked the guy up until I read what he had to say about Mars after his passing...
  24. Err... I would avoid the Delta Queen like the plague! It's an overpriced, old, floating motel that's been docked at the park. Personally, I would stay at either the Choo Choo, or the Residents Inn across from the Lookouts stadium. My preference would be with the former as there's plenty to do and see right on site. Like mentioned, there's a free shuttle that runs downtown so find a nice parking spot and enjoy. They also have a horse shuttle at the Choo Choo. Personally I wouldn't want to sit behind a horse all night watching it ****, but the ladies seem to enjoy that, though
