Whoops, forgot about this little gem in my last post... So, it's ok for you to dictate what happens behind your closed doors, but others cant?
-
Actually, you did say that... Just keep calling me names, man. Makes your argument look all the better Oh,and... A lot of gay people, before 'coming out', show an over-exaggerated hate for gays in their denial and so others will not suspect them for having the gay. Hmmm.....

Teddy Roosevelt on Immigration and being an American

QFT! I'm thinking about what freedoms people had at the turn of the century. There wasn't much for some groups... -
I just noticed this. Why do you demand to be left alone...yet want to chose to dictate others?

He wasn't name calling. In fact, the person he quoted, called me a name. That said, how does being gay put the Military at greater risk? As far as why they're gay, I have no idea why they are. Nor do you. If it is a mental disorder, then so what? Does a person that excessively cleans not suitable of serving? (OCD)

If you're interruptive, causing a disturbance, or a ruckus, then fine. That would be impeding a judicial proceeding. But a judge can not tell you what to say. It is pretty clear on this. There are no exceptions for courts or judges. NONE! This is America. Not Nazi Germany. You can not be imprisoned over things you say. That includes written word and even blasphemy towards the court. The Constitution spells this out for us very clearly. I find it very insulting that judges have taken this power. I find it even more insulting that people support this power.

I'm not gay, I don't agree with anybody's agenda (not just the "gay one", whatever that is). It's just that I don't hate people for things they do. I may hate the thing they do, but I will not hate them. You sound like a very religious man. Does your religion teach you all that hate for a fellow man? It's always funny to me that very religious people that claim their good book teaches love, etc....but then turn around and hate people for something that does not affect them in any way, shape, or form. But thanks for calling me gay, though! Edit: You know, now that I think about it. A lot of gay people, before 'coming out', show an over-exaggerated hate for gays in their denial and so others will not suspect them for having the gay. Hmmm.....

I bet they smell the same, too

US Flag shirt is a No No in a California School

The boys were also Mexican-American. As far as wanting to show support for the country your family is from, there is nothing wrong with that. People in this country have a looong history of doing so. Marching in the name of this is not disrespecting this country and is protected. Not allowing a march is disrespecting the Constitution. Now, as soon as they do start disrespecting this country by burning the flag, chanting anti-American things, etc, then that's the point where I think they need to return to their oh so great home. -
Mousegunner on the forum is a minister in Chattanooga. I don't know him, never met him...so I have no idea if he does this kinda thing....

Again, no laws regarding dress or offending a judge. Never received a speeding ticket I did get one for parking in a handicap spot once ( I use a chair). There's a thread on it here somewhere... I had an expired placard. Seems the person that issued it to me wrote an "09" on the expression date when it should have been an "07". went to court and was accused by the meter maid of altering the date. Went through one hell of a tongue lashing over this! Had to explain to the judge that getting a new placard only take a couple minutes and only cost 5 dollars. No paperwork required from a doctor for renewals. Told her it would take just as long and cost nearly as much for me to go buy a sharpie and alter the date as it would just to get a new placard. She didn't buy a word of it After that, she asked to see my new placard. Told her it was hanging on my mirror where it belonged. She demanded I retrieve it. I said that I was at a court house, across the street from the police station and jail. There were many, many cops and metermaids wondering around the parking lot...and she want's me to park illegally? And then I asked if I get another ticket if I could go ahead it bring it back in with me to save some time She finally dropped the ticket but not before giving me another tongue lashing. All of this because I, someone that uses a chair, gor a ticket for parking in a handicap spot

The order didn't say she refused to leave. Granted, she could have and the judge just didn't write that part down. Anyone may be in attendance to an open court. Reasons need not apply.
-
Off topic chatter will not be tolerated! Now, back to the pics
-
The first quote was not the girls story but what the order stated. I doubt we'll ever hear the judges side.

What's really unfair is the other 1/3 is spent on trying to get *****

Interesting...

This came up earlier in the thread. I asked who ever it was that said it to please point out to me when courts have exemptions from the Constitution. Nobody answered. So, care to point that out for me, please.

Good point. But imprisoning for talking is wrong, too. AFAIK, a judge may order someone from a courtroom w\o violating rights. -

You can do as you wish in your home. It's your home. A judge does not own the court. The court is part of Government. The Government must abide by the Constitution. -

Some say this in regards to the 2nd, you know! Some find it morally wrong to shoot people, even in self defense. Your morals, my morals, a judges morals have no impact on the Constitution. None! And FWIW, no words are offensive to me because I understand their meanings. "*****" in reference to a cat, is morally fine to people. "*****" in reference to that thing with two lips, is not morally fine. "Vagina" in reference to that same thing with two lips, if fine. -
You may make a joke of this, leroy, but let me ask this. If the court can remove one's 1st Amendment rights regarding a word on a shirt, then what's stopping the court from removing your other rights as he sees fit? Lets say you, leroy, forget to remove your hat that says "John Deer" and the judge finds this offensive being a Cat fan-boy. He then imprisons you and tells you, you may no longer own firearms. He has then unjustifiably removed your 1st amendment rights and your 2nd. Is that a-ok, too? Or is it only ok in THIS case because the girl look like a 'skank'? Are your rights more important then a 'skank's' rights? Kind regards One who believes in the Constitution strickj

No, I did not know a court was not a school. Thanks for pointing that out to me Let me recap...you said minors\school kids had no rights regarding the 1st so my comparison to this incident to the incident with the girl has no merit. I gave proof via case law that school kids do in fact have those rights. Adults also have these rights, in case you forgot. It doesn't matter what Gov building you're in, you still have these rights to the 1st. It is not ok for our rights to be taken from us in either place. Doesn't matter if someone is offended by a shirt that says "*****" or "America" -
Who is forcing gay onto you? The Military has no business in matters of what one does in their bedroom, nor place of worship. If you don't want to be 'forced' to be around them, then my advise is to stay home. "They're everywhere, man." YOu shop with them, you work with them, your governed by them, they fix your food, they're in the military.

Oh, there's no argument from me as to being more to the story. The girl, being 19 and all, more then likely got a bit sassy with the judge, too. But, there is no law about giving a judge a bit of tongue. If a cop locked someone up for nothing more then a differencing of opinion, dress, etc, there would be all hell to pay. We do not allow our officers to do that and a judge should be no different. Now, don't get me wrong here. It's only common sense to be 'proper' while in court (or in the presence of an officer) but there is certainly no law that say's you have to.
