  1. He's not being prosecuted for lifting the cheese stick, but for his reaction after being confronted. Reminds me of the story from a few days ago about a guy who got caught stealing a pack of socks from WalMart. Once confronted, he pulled a gun and was charged with attempted murder, IIRC. Instead of taking the fine for a misdemeanor, he decided to up the ante to a felony. Idiots, what are you gonna do
  2. Generally, taxes don't go down, gts. They may stabilize or not go up as much, but they won't go down.
  3. That's the main reason I like them. "A tax is a fine for doing well. A fine is a tax for doing wrong" I would rather those doing wrong have to pay versus me having to pay to doing nothing wrong.
  4. ... There are more... I don't care for O anymore then everyone else here. But, I choose to dislike him on things that actually matter. Not conceived vacations where he doesn't work, or tossing a flower vs laying it, etc. Can't we go back to hating him for his policies, or being Muslim, or something, at least?
  5. I think that was Chris Tucker
  6. The leather is form fitted to the gun and it also has a retention screw for snugness
  7. That has carbine length handgaurds so your Magpul HG will fit. However, if a mid is what you wanted, since you're going with BUS, you could cut the front sight and put a lowpro gas block and use a midlength HG
  8. I have no experience with ridding and carrying as I didn't carry when I used to ride. But, I do have experience with that holster and a broken back. That holster works very well for what it is. It's now my only carry holster for my 1911. Do recommend! On the whole broken back thing....if you crash hard enough for the gun to break your back, it will be a hard enough crash to break your back even without the gun. On top of that, the gun isn't really sitting on your back. It's sitting on lower lumbar. Lumbar injuries, even "complete injuries", are very reparable and healable. Reads, full or almost full recoveries are common. Lower lumbar injuries are even more so.
  9. Rear end collisions are caused by following to closely. Doesn't matter why the front car stopped or how quickly it stopped. The law designates so many seconds to speed ratio to prevent rear end collisions from happening. A rear end collision is also a lot safer of a crash then two cars T-boning at full speed.

I call that breakfast Jeez! How many times do I have to apologize to you for giving you.... er, I mean....I don't know Bronker
  15. This holiday has nothing do do with the complaints about his vacation. I could go back through older threads and find complaints about his previous vacations, that did not fall on a holiday celebrating fallen soldiers. It just so happens, this vacation has landed on the holiday, and is the burning force behind the complaints...this time.
  16. The POTUS actually gets very few non-working days. Vacation or not. Be it Obama, bush, or whomever.
  17. A fraction of me could care less about fractions being used as a figure of speech
  18. My favorites are constantly changing. Right now it is Seth Rogen and Emma Stone.
  19. Coker used to be one of my clients and I've seen what the public is unable to see. All I can say is that guy has some effin nice rides! Coker makes new 'vintage' tires for old cars. One of, if not the only, place around that makes them.
  20. Maybe offering low prices to millions of Americans have helped put more cash back in Americans pockets... in return helping the economy. Or maybe WalMart's employment of 400(+-) people per store has helped the economy. versus the one or two employees the 'mom and pop shop' it replaced employed...
  21. You can pull back a corner of the carpet in a closet for a great hiding spot. It's great for cash, keys, jewelry, or anything else that wont leave a bulge. For a gun, you might want to throw an old shirt or something over it just in case a thief decides to look in her closet, he won't see the bulge. Same can be applied to your car with even greater effectiveness. Every car has it's own bumps and bulges under the caret. Installing car stereos, I've seen my fair sare of car break-ins. Never have I seen carpet pulled back by a thief to see what was under a bulge...
