  1. Freud didn't say that. It's always said on message boards that's it's from "General Introduction to Psychoanalysis". I have read that and the above quote is not in it. It's a cheap....but long book if anyone wants to search for the quote... http://www.amazon.com/General-Introduction-Psychoanalysis-Sigmund-Freud/dp/0671800329
  2. Can someone txt me this ringer that has it? Myxer is saying that I'm still on Verizon and it won't send
  3. People still do ringtones? I haven't had anything except a regular ring since last year sometime.
  4. There is this http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/27146-tn-gun-shop-map.html Maybe Jeffssig can create one just for ranges? [coughhinthintcough]
  5. I've never seen any parking lot postings either. Honestly.
  6. It isn't WalMart. It's not their job to collect payments. It's not their job to perform loss prevention and theft from non payment. It's their job to put out fires. I have no problem with them needing to make money. We all need to make money. But doing so while a family's home is ablaze is just, well, horrible. Never bought anything in, or from NC. I've been to NC once in my life and it didn't work out too well so I haven't been back
  7. Nope, fire responded.Guys, I don't think anyone here has a problem with the county not offering fire service of their own. I know, as I'm sure most here do, that the blame for not offering fire service rest on the shoulders of the voters not electing to pay tax to pay for it. The problem here is that firefighters were on scene. They were there, ready to rock, for the neighbors house....but didn't do anything for the family who's house was actually ablaze. They stood by while this family lost everything they had. They stood by while this family became homeless. They stood by while this family lost their beloved pets. All for the price of a few measly dollars. That is the disgrace. As been said, had this been a cop standing by watching a crime being committed against someone and he chose not to help, then there would be hell to pay. It wouldn't matter one bit if his department's policies said that he couldn't help, there would still be hell for him to pay. Why? Because he would be following immoral orders that he should have ignored in order to do the right thing. This whole ordeal sickens me to know that there are people out there who's jobs are to help, but don't, based on a late bill or a technicality.
  8. My wreck was in NC. I never paid any taxes to them.
  9. So....what if I wreck a car, am entrapped within it, but I have no life threatening injuries? Life....what about his pets lives? How many people here in this thread have publicly posted that they would kill to protect their animals, because their animals are family. About the emotions thing....yeah This is about morals, doing what is right, and just being humane. I do not go to church and do not have any religious convictions, whatsoever....but it seems I have more morals (which apparently only come from the religious) then most here in this thread. It was my own fault for wrecking my bike. Does that mean I deserve to die because I didn't pay for protection and it was my fault?
  10. Why? Because they were not on the scene.
  11. The cc company will ask the seller for proof. If they're unable to provide that proof, then the seller will be out the money.
  12. You think that I can't google "firefighters save house" to rebut your post, Jamie? I know that firefights often hold back on lost causes. We are not talking about that here. We are talking about them refusing to even try....because of a few dollars.
  13. HOW is that apples to oranges? I ****ed up and needed help from firemen. this guy ****ed up and need help from firemen. I crashed in the middle of BFE, in an unincorporated area. Had they done to me what was done to this guy, I would be dead. All because I didn't pay for 'protection'. We are not talking about calling Geico after a fender bender here. We are talking about a family loosing their home because of a few dollars. We are talking about "firemen" standing by and watching a family loose everything. We are talking about "firemen" standing by and watching two dogs and a cat die all because of a few dollars. I am not for someone getting something for nothing and that's not what this is about. This is about some so called "first responders" not doing their job. I think it's pretty ****ing ironic that so many here are saying that "they were just following orders so don't blame them"....when the exact opposite is said when it's a cop not doing his job because of orders. This whole thread is just disgusting and I am truly sickened by some of the attitudes here. Pray to your God, that none of you never need help
  14. Is there any case law regarding someone innocently carrying into a school or church/school?
  15. I'm thankful that no one here was in charge when I needed help after I crashed my bike. I would have been left for dead laying on the side of the ****ing road because I didn't pay the firemen, ambulance, and life force upfront. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.
  16. I was back at HP on Sunday and did not see that sign. I even made a point to stop and look. The only signs I saw were the no shoes, no shirt one

    Rule #23

Coffee makes me and that makes me sleepy....so I don't drink it too often. When I do drink it, it's usually a mocha frou frou vanilla white chocolate whipped thingy of some sorts. It's ok though. You can call me what you wish. You can even punch my man card if you like. I have enough mojo left so it doesn't affect my manliness any.
  18. An NRA sticker on a bumper does not mean there's a gun in the car. Wearing a Glock shirt does not mean you have a gun in your pocket. Pulling up your pants does not mean you have a gun on your belt. Wearing a Rocawear shirt does not mean you're a rapper. The first three are not going to cause you to get shot by a criminal. The last is not going to cause you to get shot by a west coast fan.
  19. I always knew you were a catcher
  20. They do decrease accidents. The increase in rear-end collisions is caused by following too closely.
  21. If that doesn't work then you can always cancel tomorrow night and reorder Thursday Morning
  22. How much for your wife's dirty Netipot Jack?
  23. This thing is the Atomium in Brussels The inside has escalators which moves visitors from sphere to sphere .
  24. I did that exact same thing when I wrecked back in 05 (not kidding). The only difference is my feet never came back down like the guy in the video. I was in a curve doing between 60-70 MPH (4 lane divided hwy in BFE so that's not that fast). I hit a patch of dirt, my ass flew over my head like in the video, fish tailed a bit, the bike left the road, then I slammed into a stop sign, back first, while still upside-down. I snapped my spine in two places, ruptured my spleen, broke two ribs, punctured lung, minor head injury, and a few more lesser minor injuries.
  25. That's the reason no counter-suit was filed. It's cheaper and easier just to call paint and carpet "the cost of doing business." My dad's suit was held at a small town courthouse. I'd absolutely hate to see how things go in a large city courthouse
