    Taurus 82

I've owned a few over the years and have nothing but good things to say. Both new and old. I've even owned an old trade-in revolver that was well abused. All good. I choose to carry a snub nose Taurus over any of my other, big named guns. It gets carried over my SAs, Sigs, Paras, whatever. If they're that bad then why would you own so many of them?
  3. Salons call that frosted highlights
  4. Hey! what's wrong with my bathroom floor?
  5. What makes it better? Tighter...better feel...or...
  6. I love shooting old tennis balls. They bounce when hit which gives you a random directional moving target. They'll bounce around like a squirrel. Loads of fun with a 22. balloons strung up with a string in the wind is also fun.
  7. Whoops! Sorry for the thread closing. Damn button is irritating
  8. The taco bell 4th meal ones for both tv and raddideo. Then there's the ones for the art institute. Damn those are irritating
  9. Loud pipes are constantly on. Constantly warning surrounding traffic that there is a bike there. A horn does nothing to make the presence of a bike known. It is there as an afterthought. It's usually used in conj with the finger after the bike has been ran off road.
  10. I have received some additional information on the authenticity of this. Barrett
  11. It should be noted, Barrett is a supporting vendor here. They do read posts here as well as participate. There are also a couple of their store's employees that regularly post here. One would think that if this were legit, one of them would have posted the info here. This is closed until proof can be provided of the authenticity of the tour from a Barrett representative
  12. Exact reason I left Verizon! My bill was 120\month, on a good month! To answer your question, I had one very briefly after my Boost got dunked in the toilet. It was an AT&T service one. The company is legit. The service is the exact same as with AT&T. You can even take the sim from one and use an unlocked iPhone (or whatever) with them. I can not personally comment on data as the phone I had was the basic one. If you're looking at data, then check out TMobile "prepaid". 50\month for unlimited everything, including 4g data. Supposedly, they have the largest 4g network in the nation. Very fast surfing even when not in 4g coverage.
  13. lol Do yall' even hear yourselves? How is an arrest in a driveway any different then in a home, in regards to criminals\thugs posing as cops? I mean, seriously. Think about that. It makes absolutely no difference. The cop could still be a criminal\thug.
  14. Forget that. I always pulled off in the emergency lane when forced to stop suddenly. It saved my ass twice by doing that. Once it kept me from hitting the car infront of me (I crested a blind hill then OH ****!!!), the other kept me from getting hit. Besides, the emergency lane is like a bikers very own car pool lane in traffic anyway. Covering ass note: I do not condone nor endorse the use of an emergency lane for non-emergency traffic.
  15. I hosted one at Carters a few years back. It sucked. We had 6 or 8 people show up IIRC. It was too loud. Too cramped. Too Ray Carter'ish. I've been to a couple of shoots at PC and they sucked too. The last one, another member and I waited about an hour or so for a bench to open up. I think 3 people ended up showing up total. The problem is that we just do not have a good range to meet up at where we can actually meet, in peace. Best bet is to get a couple of CHRPC or CRC members together to host a small get-together.
  16. Guys, the city isn't banning weapons. The Friends of the Festival is. I can only assume that any knives collected by police (whether on city time or acting as private security) is done so as an alternative to being escorted out of the"private area" for breaking the rules. And lets not forget that a"proper posting"is not required. All that is required is for an associate to tell you. Jay, the city can lease out or close down any public area for private entities. Be it for a concert, a parade, a movie, a"block party" whatever. THe reason I mentioned the city temporally turning the street into the park is because I thought it was a joint venture between the city and TFOTF.
  17. I most certainly will not. Farting and belching around condescending snobs will always be prime entertainment.
  18. The queen is a snotty bitch. I think it's funny the he broke one of her proper etiquette rules. In fact, I would pay good money to be able to meet the queen and fart in her presence. I would then make a fumy face while looking at her and pointing so the crowd thinks that it was her
  19. The city park and street can be leased by anyone. The Friends of the Festival rents the area. They are a private origination. The city has absolutely nothing to do with the rules concerning weapons inside the event. How is that making it up as you go?
  20. I asked about this on the Chattanooga board. My thoughts were the city, somehow, extended the boundaries of the park to include the whole event. But it seems that the Friends Of The Festival leases the park, street, and surrounding areas from the city making them "private areas". This will give them the authority to write their own rules concerning weapons.... or to allow alcohol in the park\street on the flip side. I also asked if carrying a weapon would be an arrestable offense (there's several cops that post there) and have not received an answer. I don't blame anyone for not wanting to answer that. It's my opinion that it would be treated like any other posted area where you would simply be asked to leave or risk trespassing.
  21. Have a link to buy one? I once bought a compressor and two air horns to put on my old truck. It was advertised to sound like the one in the vid. It ended up sounding like a squeaky horn on a kid's bicycle though.
  22. Check your voltage regulator (alternator). When that goes out, it can make anything electronic go crazy. The first sign of one going out will be dash lights and gauges acting up, including the PNRxx lights and tachometer. Downshifting to 3rd will make the alternator turn faster (higher engine rpm) which may be why the problem corrects itself when she does that. A faulty voltage regulator can cause false codes in other things like sensors because incorrect voltage will cause them to work improperly. so I would check and correct that before taking any further steps.
