It's all in the psychical evidence... With battery, an officer can clearly see who has the blue eye. With attempted prostitution, an officer can not see who has blue balls

Well, kinda. He open carried an AK pistol in a park. Not exactly the same thing as OCing a handgun on your hip. His intentions there are debatable. Some say it was intentional to cause parks to be posted. Others say it was intentional so he could file a frivolous suit - which I think he did ended up filling suit. Don't remember all of the details with Costco but I wanna say he contacted them to get them to post.

That's the reason I switched to BB earlier this year. But their ship times and new release availability pretty much nips that advantage right out. Seems every new title I wanted was either on the short or long wait list. Add to that the week it takes to receive it and you're just as well off as waiting an additional 28 days with NF. NF's new Qwikster company will hopefully be up and operational soon.... and affordable! I can even deal with the higher prices if Qwikster's ship times are the same (next day for me from my mailbox to my mailbox)

Pulled over last night - carrying
strickj replied to zenman's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Seems pretty simple to me. The location of your gun may determine his perceived level of safety. If it is within arms reach, he may feel it's necessary to disarm you, as he is legally able to do. If the gun is in the trunk or glove box, he may not feel the need to disarm you. Now, you can argue until you're blue in the face on what should determine officer safety, but when it comes down to it, you're opinion on it doesn't matter when you're on the side of the road. If you get pulled over and are "unjustly disarmed", then file a complaint or sue. Please report back on how that turns out -
Yup, I'm one of the pissed off former Netflix customers. I tried Blockbuster Online for a few months but their ship times are just horrible. It takes them a week, sometimes more, from the time I return to the time I get new shipments. I have absolutely no desire to watch movies online. RedBox is great.... and there's even one down the road from the house... but that's too much trouble. Seems by the time I remember there's a movie in my truck that needs to be dropped off, I've already racked up enough to buy the damn thing off Ebay I'm considering CafeDVD but I've never heard of them before cafedvd -- Monthly Rental Program Anyone have any experience with them? Specifically new movie availability and ship times. I love their ship policy of shipping as soon as I mail the return. Versus waiting until they receive the return. That could easily shave a couple days off of the wait )and knowing USPS, maybe a week or 12:rolleyes: ) Their price is reasonable. But I do not like that there is a return date of three days - as I can not always find the time to watch a movie for a few days.

That. I think we forgot sometimes that part of the punishment for committing felonies is loosing rights. If you commit a crime, you do the time. Doesn't matter if that time is in prison, community service, fines, or loss of privileges or rights. It's all part of that punishment. Now, that said, I do see reason to change laws regarding punishment on some non-violent felonies. I think it was MikePappa that suggested a 10 year limit on loosing rights... and I like that thought very much.

Our new troll is a previously banned member. -
Ask yourself this: How does the OP's preferred method of carry affect me? If the answer is "it's doesn't affect me", then butt out. If the answer is "it affects me..." then you think to much of yourself.

Don't give me that BS. We all know what the post meant.

What does that have to do with anything? It's your choice not to like someone based on their skin color. It's my choice to delete racist comments and ban users. Consider this your only warning.

The Killing of Kelly Thjomas & The Power of New Media

The difference with this thread and the other 2139497234 threads is this one has all of the facts. Versus a one sided story from the perp. -

On September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created. That document would be the United States Constitution

This is why I only drink booze. I figure the alcohol will kill off anything bad like that. And to y'all that say my drinking will kill me.... suck it! -
I pretty much agree except for your last sentence. The girl was beaten by two women until she started having seizures and blood pouring out of her head.

Summer is over and it's still not out yet. Browsing IMBD message boards, it looks like it may be "this time next year"

Doesn't matter to me what or who they are. Josh and Daniel Bullocks, who are both safeties in the NFL, lived a couple of blocks away from me growing up till they left for college. One day while waiting on the bus, one of them (don't remember which) was "jumped" by a couple of girls and had his ass handed to him. If a 6' 210lb football player can find himself outnumbered by a couple of girls, then anyone can. If three petite teen girls rush in my front door, I'll treat them the same as any man rushing in my front door.
