The below comment speaks for me on your response. Lumping "bad people" together based on race and religion is the same tactics antis use to lump us together as lunatic gun owners. It's a real shame... Really? Are you really wanting to go there? How many millions have Christians killed? Oh, you want an updated list?.... How many Christians have bombed buildings, abortion clinics and shot up schools in modern times? How many "right wing fringe" groups planned mass attacks against Americans? Georgia militia members arrested, accused of plotting ricin attack - latimes.com Ga. man convicted in plot to seize TN courthouse - WSMV Channel 4 If we're going to "call it like it is", then maybe us right-leaning white men should be reported for taking a gun training class...

Yup... and while we're at it, let's stop teaching while teenage boys how to shoot, too. I know that there are some good white teens out there but it's just impossible to identify them when so many shoot up middle schools...

You can put bacon on a turd but it's still a turd... or something like that. Edit; I think I'd rather eat that bacon wrapped turd then anything from KFC :ick:

Just leave it on there and use a long pipe cleaner.

Then explain to me how Chattanooga PD works in surrounding cities then. Sometimes they even work in GA. -
Ok, that means it will erase the disk before burning. If you're using brand new disks, then you don't need to do that. what software are you using (Neo, DVDburnerXP, 1clickDVD, etc.)? It sounds like you are burning a "data disk" or something other then a DVD.
-
What format are you referring to? What DVD burn software are you using? What kind of DVD are you using (DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-R DL, etc.)?

Guys, it's kinda rude to leave unflattering comments about the OP's friend, doncha think? If you don't like her looks, cool... just don't be dicks about it. The OP isn't telling y'all that your 400lb wife is ugly... so don't call the OP's friend slutty or ugly because of her mods. That said, I find beauty in unique expression and find her very pretty.

My Apt Complex says I can't have my gun in the apartment.

Yeah, well... he also said that apartment managers can rummage through renter's underwear drawer anytime they wanted... -

The Constitution protects citizens' rights from Government infringement. Civil Rights protects citizens from discrimination from other citizens. Civil rights were put into place to protect people and the things that they can not change about themselves from discrimination. A man can not take off his color, his disability, his religion, or his sex. A man can take off his gun. A gun is an object. No different then a pair of shoes. Civil rights have nothing to do with the Constitution. Nothing. Some people get confused when it comes to religion because it's included in both, but that's where the correlation ends. Good God, man! Is your last name Embody, by chance? Yeah, but the quiet wheel never get's noticed. -

Sheesh.,.. -Step 1 - Carry your gun normally and shut-up about it. Talking about it to campus police, apartment managers and roomates is only going to bring you further trouble. Not to mention, the added risk of having your gun(s) stolen. Millions of people live in apartments with 'no weapons' clauses in their leases and nothing ever comes up about it. Think real hard about why this is. -Step 2 - Go to the courthouse and evict your roommates. -Step 3 - find new roommates ready to move in as soon as your current roomates' 30 days are up. -Step 4 - Rinse and repeat as needed. -
Are you getting PMs or Visitor Messages? You received two Visitor Messages yesterday... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/member.php?u=196

I had a long response typed out but decided to just delete everything and offer a reference instead. Send her to Superior Camera on Lee HWY. Great people, great knowledge, and great prices. They'll get her what she needs without up-selling her a bunch of "fluff" like the big box places will.

First couple went down rough... especially with my portofino's left overs. Now at the point where taste is of no concern -
what is on your adult beverage menu for the evening?

Someone recently gave me a small fridge full of beer that came out of an old man's garage. Tonight I think I'll try the 7 year old Milwaukee's Best Light. -
That is sweet! IS it for sale yet?

Gaddafi/Gadhafi/Kaddafy/Quaddafi reported dead...
strickj replied to ttocswob's topic in General Chat
First I saw on the news about it included O claiming credit for it. Now, I will give credit where credit is due. If it hadn't been for O's illegal strikes, Libya wouldn't be free -
I'm not talking about taxes here. In the '60s and '70s, the ratio between "big-heads" and common workers was in the 20s (CEOs made %20 more). That ratio is now near 300%. (Now, before I go further, let me say that I'm not saying that "big-heads" are not deserving of their pay nor am I saying that capitalism doesn't work, etc...) If this trend continues, we are going to see a much larger problem then we currently have. I'm not part of the class warfare crowd (as I have dreams of being rich ) but this should be pretty easy for everyone to see. Class-warfare crowd or not. Just wait until those "99%'ers" learn that the Fed Reserve has given out 16 trillion in bailouts to big business, banks and CEOs worldwide while the common workers were being laid off. We are at a time where unemployment is at a high and people are getting laid off en masse daily. While the "big-heads" continue receiving their fat checks, raises, bonuses and bailouts. I think they could take part of the brute in salary, reduce the imbalance gap and save a lot of jobs in the process. This will not fix our economy, in and of itself, but it will go a long way in helping, as well as 'boost moral' in our economy.
-
The "99%" isn't about being lazy or not paying taxes. It's about the super wealthy, CEOs and Wall St, etc. (the 1%) receiving raises, bonuses and bailouts while laying off workers in the process. That said, I have no idea what Lester is referring to with the 50k comment. As for my early working years, I started working at ~12 putting up wallpaper and borders in my aunt's apartments. It put me to work anytime someone moved or needed an updated look in their apartment. Also shared a cleaning job with Mom at this time. Got my first "real" job at 16 working full time. At 18, I had a 50+hr a week job followed shortly by a 45+hr a week job with a part time job (4hrs a day for 5-6 days a week) on the side. Skip ahead to my wreck on '05; I've been unable to find any employment. And it's not from a lack of trying. I have a strong work ethic, ASE certified, and motivated. these past six years I've just been trying to do my own thing to make money. So I guess that puts my into both the 53% and the 99%. I've always worked hard, payed my taxes and been responsible... for sometimes little monies. But it pisses me off that the greedy "big-heads" are firing workers to keep dollars in their over-stuffed pockets.

Nop. just the Escalade pic. A lot near the Tivoli. If you're asking because of the haunted comment, then call Chattanooga Haunted Tours. I only know the hearsay of what happened there.

Maybe you missed where I said "a few mil to play with". The new wife is just for cleaning and cooking
-
1 mil to buy a new house, a new truck and a couple of toys. I would never want anything extravagant. 1mil to buy a new wife (I want a sporty import). .5mil to a couple of close friends. College fund for the niece. A few mil to play with and live off of the rest of my life. The rest would go to several different organizations.
