200 rounds is nothing for the xd.I put around 500 of the dirtiest rounds known to man through mine the day i bought her right out of the box with no cleaning,and she could have kept going. hope you keep enjoy it!

agreed ^^^ IMHO a bug could take just as long pull and use as clearing a jam,etc...then you wont have thae same stopping power with the smaller cal. +what would you do with your main gun?i would not want to drop any gun,jamed or not. i carry extra mags.atleast 1 for my xd and atleast 2 for my single stack .45acp

what is a laser slide? there are rail mounted lasers,laser grips,and lasermax(replaces the guide rod)the lasermax is around $300.00+- . crimpson trace laser grips are around 250-300 and i dont think those have rails.

what canynracer said.get a acme cheap-o-holster and tape it to the bottom of your nughtstand,coffee table,or anywhere you can think of.use just a cheap 10 dollar one that will hold your hg and dont use the safety strap.straps are hard enough to fool with on your side,but under a table it would be impossible
