i just bought a lasermax for my xd9 service.http://www.thunderwear.com
i installed it,it worked great!later i field striped my xd to clean, when i reassembled my xd,the little plastic battery cap came off and jamed my slide at about half way
and i dont mean it slowly came to a stop,it stuck instantly.i worked with it for a few minutes then called lasermax.they apologized and sent me a overnight call tag via ups.
tuesday they called me and said they fixed the problem, but during the process a scratch occured on the frame by the take down lever :(
they offered to send me my xd back, with a new lasermax installed, and a new uni-green rail mount laser for my troubles,or to send me a brand new xd9 w/lasermax(2 day wait)
i opted for a new xd not knowing if the gouge in my frame would affect the integrity and strength on my gun.
and im still waiting.
so far i would say they have great customer service, and it seems to be a decent product(for the 5 min i used it)but it can obviously have problems from the plastic battery cap.the guid rod springs have a life expectancy of about 1500 rounds so keep a bag of springs in your range bag.
would i buy one again?i dont know yet!
