1. Seriously? Did you even read that post? I said: The link to the WH press release was to show Obama's pandering. I never even remotely defended O. Why should I? My links will just be dismissed as being "unreliable sources" or a "joke", as you put it. But if you insist, see the other thread fo a slue of lies he told. Or, see the OP in this thread . Course, that is, if telling the NRA that he would never support gun bans when he already has can be called a lie. From that link:
2. Um, yeah. Here's the thing. I am reading the actual lines you wrote. In a thread concerning the differences between Obama and Romney, you responded with Obama's race and supposed religion. What do you expect for people to think when you respond that way? In the 5 years that I have been a member of this board, I have never, not once, played the race card. Never. So there is no grip to be had with me here. I am only referencing the words in which you wrote.
3. Robert, I have never denied any of that about O. I just find it strangely interesting (to sat the least) that so many will dismiss the lies, pandering and blatant anti-gun past of Romney simply because "it was in the past". What's good for the goose is good for the gander...
4. Everyone sees them. If I have personally attacked anyone, I will offer a public apology plus some. Because so many non-Muslims believe in Sharia law? http://www.thefreedi....com/sharia law Close enough?
5. I'm specifically asking you to provide something that says Romney care differs from Obama Care. You can dispute my links all you wish.... but I'm not seeing anything from you other than personal opinion. Send David a PM then.
6. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/07/26/white-house-obama-not-seeking-new-gun-laws/\ I guess Fox News is just an unreliable liberal rag, too?
7. Why? Care to point out some differences in the two plans? That's what this thread is all about, after all. Pointing out their differences.
8. If Obama wanted gun control, he would have made it happen. Look at Obaercare. Very least, he would have actively pressed for legislation. I'll give you the whole "Romney only signed it" thing. The two problems here, though, is the simple fact that he still signed it. If he was really a friend of the gun owner, he would have not signed it or vetoed it. NRA? Romney once received a lower rating than Ted Kennedy. He is now only receiving approval from the NRA crowd because of his pandering. This pandering is being reported by both liberal and conservative media. Search them yourself if my one website isn't enough for you. And I should point out here that the pandering Romney is doing is the exact same pandering Obama is and has done. White House makes clear: No push for new gun laws
9. I never made a personal attack on him. The only differences he has stated are of his personal opinion and race/religion. I simply asked him if there are any other differences. Well, as someone mentioned earlier, Obama has credited Romney and Romney has basked in the recognition. http://www.thedailyb...ntial-ways.html
10. I never called nor implied you are a racist. Only pointing out that his race and religion are the only two differences that you have pointed out.... other then your opinion about Obama, of course.
11. Well, just from yesterday's post
12. I'm not insinuating anything. He keeps mentioning the vast differences between Obama and Romney, yet only offers up his opinion about the two whilst mentioning Obama's race and religion. Now, so seems. I'm the racist for pointing it out?
13. All of your posts are stated in opinion. You offer nothing else concerning their differences, with the exception of Romney being a business man.
14. Yes, Romney is a business man. And so does Romney. He invented Obama care, yanno. You have one difference now. Are there any others?
15. Why are you calling me out for "playing the race card" and not ThePunisher for calling Obama a Muslim (in another thread you're active in) or a Kenyan in this thread?
16. Saying you want something and actually doing it are two completely different things. I want to be a fit 180 pound stud. But am I ever going to loose any weight to do so?
17. Are there any actual differences between them on paper? Or are the only differences based on opinion, likeability and race?
18. This is a very reveling PBS documentary about manufacturing in America. Their claim? There are more manufacturing jobs in America now then ever before.... it only looks different then it did decades ago. And they do a great job of backing the claim up. The first segment on manufacturing was filmed here in Chattanooga at VW. http://video.pbs.org/video/2227791872 I found the opening segment about import/exports funny. The US exports more paper then any other commodity - most of which comes right back to us in the form of instruction manuals in Chinese made electronics.
19. What are some differences? Serious question.
20. To answer your question, Colt 1911s have been going to war for 101 years I can not answer your question about the reliability of Colt 1911s in combat because I'm not in the Military. I can provide an internet opinion from a super-duper secret special forces operator that says 1911s are horrible though. Personally, I can assume they are reliable because they have seen 101 years of continued use.
21. There was another case in Chattanooga a few years back.... kinda. The carrier was asked to leave The Majestic 12 and decided to argue over the law instead. He was cited for trespassing best I remember. The majestic 12 serves alcohol (incident was before "bar carry" passed) so he's lucky he didn't get popped for that too.
22. They have been going to war for 101 years now. March 29 1911 is the official adoption date.
23. Blasphemy! Prepare to be shunned!
24. sigh... Again, never said Obama's didn't count. Only pointing out Romney has a harsher record.
25. I apologize for assuming. But you have defended Romney's gun stance, though. Maybe I have missed it. Is this active "pushing" (reads: legislation or pending legislation) or just hearsay based on his speech yesterday? Oh, it is most definitely with merit. Both feel the same way and have said similar things about guns. Only one has actually signed laws restricting gun ownership. Romney: AWB - Check Mag capacity restrictions - Check Increased fees 400% - Check Brady wait on guns - Check Once received a lower rating from NRA then Ed Kennedy - Check Openly supports bans on weapons that threaten police - Check
