Been looking at these for a pistol build myself. Someone answer a couple of questions for this non-smith. Wopuld engraving one affect strength any ("pistol" engraving)? Odd question maybe, but just something about carving plastic makes it seem weird. Certainly wouldn't want it to crack if dropped or something. I'll admit to not clicking any links in this thread. going off of memory here. I did not know they did that. But at any rate, I feel it's perfectly acceptable for a cop to use such measures under that "I know it when I see it" circumstance. If he was being difficult and/or passive aggressive, I could see officer safety concerns escalating until the point where they felt justified drawing weapons. I was not there so I have no idea what his aggression level or body language was.

Not a dumb question at all. In a total collapse, folks will still need a vehicle to barter for goods with. I hold the opinion that paper currency will still be used. Even if the feds says it's worthless, people will still use it and will probably set the value based on region. Paper currency is what people know, it's versatilevwith multiple denominations, there's plenty of it around and most importantly, it's portable. A helluva lot easier to tote around than a gold bar that one would need a a jackhammer to make change with.

When did the cops assault him? As others have said, it's not about the "scary looks" of the gun or the laws. It's the simple fact that he slung it around his neck in a park while wearing camo. It's kinda that way now in a roundabout way,Larger populous means more representatives which means more electors. California, Illinois, Jersey, NY have 118 (if I added right). That's a big chuck of the majority needed from just four states. Seems the easiest and fairest way would be simply giving each state one elector? I dunno. I don't pretend to be smart enough to figure this kind of stuff out. Just seems there would be a better system to give sparse states fairer say.

That was the first case that went to SCOTUS and it lad to all states removing those laws fro their books. Replace race with sex and it applies here. You can also see the hundreds of court cases regarding prayer led by government officials and school leaders/teachers. Establishment Clause in action again. Tell me again that's it's about the feds sponsoring and mandating a religion. There is a couple hundred years of documents that say differently. But let me follow up with a question, since you feel it's perfectly acceptable to legislate your traditions. Would you be ok with a law that outlaws the eating of porkl? Or how about one that forces women to cover their faces and hair? Or how about one that would put people to death for disrespecting a bible? I await your answer.
