  1. Am I the only one that uses just RemOil? I dont keep kerosene, and breast milk from a witches toad laying around the house so Ill clean it and go.If any is left, then it will come out when you shoot that thing!
  2. Hello Brad,and welcome aboard
  3. Yano,if you dont run red lights, you have nothing to worry about! Just saying!
  4. You really effed up by trying to stop! Next time hit the gas,and get the hell through it! I have noticed they only catch you if it is red when you're at the line,if you're past the line, and it turns red then you will not get one Here it doesn't matter. They just send a picture of your tag along with the bill.
  5. How do we know this lady just didn't say that to get even? She loses the parking spot, she sees his holstered gun, then calls 911 in a rage for missing out on that 29 cent sale. These folks are nuts yo! right now it just his word against hers ....and the paper...
  6. Welcome aboard JW
  7. Thats funny! My package says that all the time
  8. Definition of why he said what he did Edit: CRAP! Got beat by two people faster then I this time
  9. Which is why I have stayed out of this one.Its useless! I just thought I would tell folks why auto labor is so high,so they would stop bitching about that.
  10. Actually you're not paying a mechanic 45 bucks an hour. You're paying the shop he works for 45 an hour, which in turns pays the mechanic an average wage. Or the shop charges the mechanic rent for the floor space he uses. Ill add to that, that mechanics also have to pay for their own tools and equipment, which will usually be in the thousands. And yes, that "unskilled labor" is very much skilled especially in todays computer driven cars.
  11. Ya know what tickles me? Everyone of the survival shows will have the survivalist starting a fire with a knife, and flint,or a car battery, and steel wool,or a disposable camera, and a pudding cup. These are all great things to know, but wouldn't it have just been easier to pack up a Bic,then the 20 lb car battery in the emergency kit! +10 on the lighters from the dollar store! I swear Ive got a million of those things laying around.
  12. Actually I heard it,but didn't wanna participate in a conversation about dikes
  13. Chattanooga got caught doing this a few months ago here in Brainerd. I actually like the cameras just because I'm getting tired of people that will continue to turn left, and cut you off, after the turn light turns off.Dont know how any wrecks Ive almost had because of that, but at least now I dont have to honk and flip them off.Now I just smile cause I know they'll be getting a ticket
  14. Welcome:wave: Obama a poser....he just got it from Neo!
  15. Did you also build him a ladder to enter the tube being its in midair and all
  16. Dave; My mom was injured a couple years ago at work. She was pulled off the job untill her wrist healed, then was on light duty once they brought her back in. Just long nuff to get her off work comp.As soon as WC lifted, she was fired. Long story short, she received close to 20grand in back pay because of the way hey fired her. So,yes Tn is a will to work state, however in a case like hers,an the guy you mentiond, there is legal recourse available
  17. You cant. The way to safely de-cock it is by first gripping the hammer very tightly insuring it will not slip. Then pull the trigger and lower the hammer just ever so slightly, then realese the trigger. The firing pin will then be blocked, and the gun will not fire, even if your thumb slips and the hammer slams down. You can practice this with spent brass, and you will see that there will not be any marks on the primer from decocking in this manner
  18. Welcome to th US,and to Tn So,how much better is Brentwood over Alanta?
  19. Depends on the type of holster you are using, and the type of belt you are using. I have found that paddle holsters are more secure, and sturdy. However they also tend to be a little thicker then a belt holster. I like my paddles though! It seems I always have a belt loop in the way of where my belt holster needs to be.That problem is N/A when using paddles.
  20. Just to un-bury my question. Can someone provide some proof that differentiating calibers has been an issue in a TN court? If not then everyone is debating nothing more then speculation of paranoiac. I'll even revise the question to include accidental shootings,or property damage from a bad shot. You sound like you've been there a time or two.Care to elaborate? I think if anyone is paranoid enough to want to reduce their court liabilities then maybe Pre-Paid legal services is for them
  21. Whats the oath they recite when sworn in? Something like I will obey the orders of superior officers" or something like that. When given orders you follow them.Thats simple enough
  22. Agreed! ..... Wait what On two different subjects! Although I wouldn't call the cops, and guards criminals in uniform though. They were simply following orders. Now say something silly that I can disagree with, quick!
  23. I dont really buy into all that tin foil hatery stuff either, but in their defense it has happened in this country before. [ame] [/ame]Although it did happen after a tragedy, and under some stressful situations,it still happened
  24. As long as its not a 9mm right? I think the easiest way to end this would be for someone to provide a link showing where a TN court has debated the controllability of different calibers in a justifiable-self defense shooting case.
