  4. Nope, polishing compound will not give you a polished look. As jg said you need jewelers rouge and a buffing wheel. Heres a couple parts I did on a 1911. It'll be the same process only a little more elbow grease http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/general-off-topic/6570-remind-me-never-polish-my-own-stuff-again-2.html#post83113
  5. So,how much of the mash did you try?
  6. That only happened because the owner removed the take down pins to many times resulting in wallered out holes
  7. You will not find anything on it,because its not illegal. You may carry into any bank in TN BTW,welcome aboard Sept!
  8. A whole nickle eh! I guess it sounds better then it is because you're only saving a couple quarters a fill up
  9. Accuracy in mine is spot on! As far as cleaning,I dont know yet. Ive only run about 500 rounds or so through it now,but I dont plan to clean it until I start having failures.

    Snake!

Yall bunch of pansies! Snakes dont bother me one bit. Even the poisonous ones are a-ok with me. If you dont like snakes Mike, then Id lay some mouse traps out in your basement. Snakes just dont go where there is no food, and he was more then likely fixing to eat something when you found him being he was out like that. The hell with that! All spiders are poisonous and are out to eat me,so they all must die! Its kill,or be killed when it comes to those little effers!
  15. Welcome Grant Just remember, its easy for them to take what you dont have....
  16. Not be a felon basically. You can buy any gun you wish from a dealer for a 10 dollar TICS background check, and about ten minutes while that processes. For ammo you dont need anything except to be able to find it somewhere in stock! Buying, and selling privately is also pretty simple! It says something along the lines of not having any reason to believe the other party is legally un-able to buy/sell a gun,and both parties must live in TN when buying handguns.
  17. Welcome aboard
  18. Moto Q from Verizon.
  19. Noticed earlier today that I could no longer post from my phone. Can browse, and post on other sites, just not here
  20. I think I had that problem once with the stiffer recoil spring installed using lower velocity ammo. But at any rate I see this is about a week old thread......so have you found the problem yet? ETA;yeah, those mags are seriously high, but I have managed to find some online for around the 35~ish range. Still allot less then the 50,but still way too much for my cheap butt to pay for a 10 rounder!
  21. Ahh....it doesn't hurt that bad when you've been drinkin Please dont ask me how I know!
