I can say one thing about getting a bike over a scooter.....theres never been a confirmed case of a girl riding on the biatch seat of a scooter I can also say the EX 500 is a great bike! Yup,get the best gear you can afford. I actually survived a pretty bad crash due to a very expensive helmet. You might get some ridicule in a full face helmet from the cool kids that forked out 40 bucks for a pretty piece of plastic,but once they go down,you can laugh at their brain damage,and inability to feed themselves!

Not really sure if it would fit one or not as I dont have a 226 that I can try. It looks like the holster would have enough room for an xd though. Screwing it to the wall;its got two nylon straps on the top of the holster with snap buckle thingies attached,and another small one on the bottom,so yes it could be screwed to a wall. Should fit a Mosquito just fine.
