I did not carry,no place I feel safer than at an NRA show

I came I conquered and I am back in Memphis now..... NRA show was def worth the ride ,I got to handle easily 100+ guns and accys Every MFG' staff was inviting and helpful showing off their guns and gear   Its great to get a first hand feel of guns you were thinking of buying ,some were over the  top impressive and some I thought I had to have before the show  turned out to be duds and I was glad I did not buy them after handling them at the show...   I am proud to be a lifetime member now of the NRA

Springfield's Range Officer is hard to beat 

these gun companys are no dummies,they have some really good looking female ambassadors Glocks Tori  is a great example...looks like i will have my day filled looking for photo ops !

I have become a big proponent of blacked out rears and FO fronts sights,my RO is set up this way and I also really like the figure 8 my DW came with ..wow really nice   If you have a Springer Millspec your sight choices will be limited as your slide has GI cuts

I had the ruger in silver and sold it ,the black one is 10x nicer IMO than early models and i agree the trigger needs work,a good local gun smith can fluff it up and lighten it for pretty cheap..

45ACP 1911 > Polymer gun   That being said I am not a fan of RIA,your first instincts were right,the Springfield...That said a MilSpec is 600 or so,wait for it you wont be sorry
