  1. which kicks more ass? I grabbed me a SW442 today.its sure is small .........but so is my BG380 and LCP Which is the lethal self protector ?
  2. Dont bash and I think Lee make a few great reloading parts......I use his Auto Disc hopper on my Dillon press and my Dillon hopper is laying in the carton it came it. Lee also makes a few other nice gadgets as well - I like the Auto Disc because I keep records of my loads........for instance 9MM I know that lets say a .47 hole will drop 5.2g of PP and I make a chart for it and every hole size .......So if Im loading 40SW and I need 6.9 of PP I can go to my chart and grab the .63 disc and within ONE pull its on the scale reading what my book said it was gonna read.......... NONE of the other brands get this and want you to re invent the wheel everytime you load up a recipe Sort of like the chart lee supplies with his dies, only mines accurate and his is left field LOL

    Gift Idea?

i offered my wife a pink LCP and she laughed at me..........she did not want a pink gun and said to me and I quote "would you want a pink gun and do you think a bad guy would take that seriously" I said good point ,prolly not
  4. I started out with a LEE Classic Turret and now I have the 550B I can load 350-400 an hour and now I wish I bought the 650 which is rated at 550-600 an hour..........See the trend? If you can afford it spend it now do it.....The differences are simple, auto index and a 5th station 4 stations is all I need but a fifth can be used for things like Powder Cop Die or bullet dropper.....The Lee stuff does not compare to Dillon,Hornaday and RCBS not even in the same league good luck
  5. I reload PLENTY of Delta bullets and have a few thou of them 124s on the shelf .....The run well and are cheap,I also use Berrys.....just as good or better Primers CCI run well and I use PowerPistol for pretty much all my hand gun loads now a days except MAGS When buying a press.......The one question you need to ask is HOW MANY ROUNDS do you plan on shooting a month If the press costs 99.99 and your looking to shoot 500 or more rounds your arm is gonna be toast ..I started with a Lee,it worked OK learned all I needed to learn and sold it for a Dillon......Dillon is overpriced for sure but they hold value and are set and forget presses I set a load and RUN and dont stop .....With the Lee its a battle - I want to make bullets , not fidget with parts and jams,my time is valuable to me Rifle guys take their time im sure but for hand gun loads, run em baby run em! I use a cheap Midway scale, digital and its quick and accurate , 35 bucks.....measured the same as my buddys 200.00 scale For a sifter I used a simple 10.00 franklin arsenal media separator on top of a 5 gallon paint bucket ,simple and effective....can sift 500 rounds of brass in seconds
  6. id opt for a used S&W 29,I seem them often and that is the only 44 I would even consider - I saw one just a few weeks ago for 550 at a pawn shop, pinned and recessed and was like new......
  7. im checking out the sig in person tomorrow
  8. they all have big short comings now that I have done my research.......Shipping a gun,a 22 no less with one mag is a deal breaker for me That SIG COLT,M&P and many others have ONE MAG WTH ! That colts sights (govt model) are not for me either this is a modern 22 not a ww2 relic.. The SIG has very nice features but a terrible takedown system.....Remember 22s are mainly for kids and beginners I have no odea what these MFGs are thinking...I want a 22 with 3 dot sights,a normal take down and 2 mags Ill find it
  9. I heard bad things about that model,so I avoided it and spent a hundred more - do some research i all I can say
  10. My first semi auto Century Arms Polish underfolder........Bought it from Direct Hit in Jax TN,fantastic little gun shop worth the drive from Mem......got an ammo can from JG sales too Gonna try it this weekend, have tannerite will travel! heres a vid that won me over
  11. I liked the colt FIRST but it was the wood grips of the SIG that brought it all home for me but seeing that Colt w wood grips is DEF the gun I want now,a few bucks more for the Name and easier take down look worth it...IMO if you need a wrench to take down a gun why bother
  12. looks great to me,I wish SIGs 290 was made to this size .......I think the 300-400 dollar single stack is big biz and Nano looks so far to be the leader of the pack but Id need to fondle a Nano before I order one up and lay it next to a CM9
  13. Wow GSG FTW.......Why pay 50 bucks more for the SIG name........I have a Ruger now,its quite the PITA to teardown and has no cool factor like a 1911
  14. 1911-22 I got my eye on this baby.......looking for feedback

    RUGER SR 1911

I have one on order.......They are sold out but not for long,Ruger says they will be increasing MFGing on these for 2012 Gun broker has a few also....nice gun for the price
  17. SWEET.............ordered my first 1911 yesterday too
  18. SIG220 Compact is worth looking into

    New Pistol

my BG380 has been flawless ....I have about 400 rounds through it of about 6 different ammo brands and not one FTF... Its my daily CCW most often and I hold it in high regard.... P238s also have issues,LCPs,Keltecs etc,,,,many FTFS are limp wristed shooters, cheap ammp or other issues pointed towards the operator My BG380 IMO is a small glock, eats everything and is accurate......... I rolled the dice and won, this time.......I am not having so much luck with another CCW gun I just bought right now and I am trying to make it work to be 100%,never one to give up good luck
  21. 938 does sounds interesting....
  22. u will love it.........IMO the trigger creap while smooth could be shorter but thats my only critique on the PCR If it had a SIG break id be buying 5 more
  23. I bought an AK today.........(polish undercarry) When discussing this topic exactly my shop pretty much was telling me there is nothing an Arsenal can do better than any other good working stamped AK.......
  24. metal guns w wood grips are my new fav..nice CCW
  25. Thats BS....Id be on the horn and be speaking to someone with a brain and let them know this gun is a POS and not acceptable and the guy who TESTED it is brain dead
