  1. yup they paid that time......im pretty sure when I said exploded in my face the guy took notice LOL
  2. it was a remington - but you know,,,,if a gun is gonna split right down the slide it is certainly under built..and this slide is is clearly some sort of cheap allow mix - also known as pot metal
  3. bought for XMAS.......would not feed for chit,jamomatic.......at my expense I shipped it to ATIs master gunsmith forrepairs.........25 days later I get it back........Excited I head on over to the range todayStill jams, still FTFs still running like crap and thenBOOM clearly the slide is some sort of pot metal slurry of alum and cheese......its on its way back to ATI as we speak, jammed w 2 rounds still in itGerman MFG,I expected better...They tried to say it was the ammo,Remington Bulk istoo hot....I said if it cant run a hot 22 round you should not build a BB gun and expect it to shoot real ammo......Well even if they give me a brand new one,,,,,,,,its going to be tradedfor something else....SR22 is looking better every day AND it was painfull to the face to get sprayed with gun powder
  4. whats a NY reload? LOL
  5. S&W 442 all year long
  6. took it to the range twice already dialing my reloads......150 rounds down the pipe so far and every one went bang this is day one out of the box at 30 feet....just getting used to a 45ACP too for the first timethen this is today....a lightened my bullet load a little and I did enjoy the gun even more...still out of the boxno cleaning or oil other than what the factory added (rem oil I imagine) and my groups are getting tighterkeep in mind im just a weekend shooter,a few times a monthoddly enought I went from low and left to low and right.....but still less stragglers this time.....I think its time to clean it and relube ..no signs of wear on the finish which is pretty nice IMO.... very happy w the remington so far.....would reccomend - my first 45 and 1911,wont be my last
  7. I use walnut shell media, usually buy at pet stores or Amazon,2 hours in the tumbler is all I need , I only reload handgun brass so I dont need a gleaming shiny brass...clean is OK w me If I want shine a take a little metal polish and squirt it onto the tumbling media but really IDK Corn Cob.......waste of money Metal? I would not even consider since it cant absorb the grime .02

Me , my ccw of choice is a S&W revolver
  13. I tried today w PP 230g Berrys, 6.6G PP w a 1.25 OAL.........was too snappy, bought a box of house loads from the range and it was a little lighter, more manageable so I came home and lowered my recipe to 6.3g and gonna try that.......in 9mm and 40sw PP is great but for 45ACP im not 100% yet on it,still finding my way... I am also wondering if I should go to a lighter bullet as I see many guys load lighter bullets
