589 is a nice deal....its an all MADE IN USA 1911........While I would never buy a Philipino or Canadian 1911 this R1 is way nicer in person than in pics,I reccomend to anyone looking for a nice govt style 45 I got a Talo version with rosewood grips

most benches I see are not bolted down.......depending on press you will need that sucker to be bolted down like a rock....single stage presses not so much but a 4 or 5 stage prog will move if not sturdy

Called my dealer on this deal.........he said he can get me both Gen3 or 4 .....I said REALLY ?>?!?!?!?! i just scored a gen 3 OD G23 on order at normal black price.....a huge one from my local dealer he found 2......kept one for himself and gave me one also....I am thrilled ,see it the end of the week!!!!!!! WOOP

my CZ is at CZ customs as we speak getting the trigger job you talk about LOL.......and some sights My take on gun accuracy is simple........full rails and metal always shoots best...CZs got em,1911s got em early S&Ws got em,revolvers no brainer......

i bought a buckmark,loved it..even better than a ruger IMO you have Browning and then you have everyone else

glock,resale value alone keeps me away from M&P....
