I am a fan of all things KAHR, I have not tried the CT45 but do own a CW45 and its been phenomenal  (same gun only smaller ) and I have shot maybe 150  rounds though it and its been perfect as it sounds like yours will be also.......good luck

    I ordered a Wilson full 1911 spring kit for 15 bucks from Brownells but its good to know GnA has gun parts

grabbed it for 329 shipped and after the rebate its 299... Pretty well made for 300 bucks but the recoil spring is DOA ,soon as I shot the first round I was like Umm OK this thing is bouncing off the frame. The trigger is honestly 15+ pounds or more (stiffest I ever tried on a 45) making it harder to hit the target than hoped. Wont feed anything without a slide nudge so Im assuming that is because the recoil spring was dead or I need to polish up the ramp but it seems pretty smooth to me out of the box so Im assuming its the dead spring I already ordered a wilson spring kit and plan to try again .fit and finish was surprisingly great and the gun feels tight and heavy ,trigger is crisp but way too heavy . Good gun to learn on and fiddle with which is why I got it but so far it needs tuning in a big way Looking for a cheap 1911 not a bad deal so far

depends on weather you wants a double stack or single stack I prefer the slimmer single stacks no matter what the brand myself because they are easier to carry for me and I dont feel I need 15 rounds to defend my self on a day to day basis so I prefer not to carry the extra weight 

Yea Kahrs CEO is OUT THERE a bit lol...Plenty of Kahrs are 100% reliable ,my PM9 has been 100% but I knew it was a risk Reviews at the time were so so but id say in the last 2 years Kahrs have been on an upswing and got his stuff together   Not sure if LEOs carry any as BUGs but I heard regulations limit their choices but my litmus test is if it works for me and I like it I own it and so far this low priced 45 has been stellar

I think all MFGs should pay for shipping both ways if under warranty,Kahr has been known to be from Assholian on these issues ..I did get free shipping on my XDs when it was failing to operate but even twice they could not get it working for me so I traded it away .

  Yea got it at Direct Hit. ...I carry in a N82Holster and I never shoot lead,i prefer not to handle it and its smokey (I shoot mostly my own reloads) 

Actually 185G bullets are faster and usually work better in smaller CCWs  I carry the ZombieMax 185s,they are a beast,harder hitting than my 230s

I have shot all 3 of those....Kahr is by far easier to shoot ,the CW is smaller than my KW and more along the same size as the XDs, the G36 has more felt recoil IMO and for me felt funny in my hand..I still prefer the less expensive Kahr over any of those...Im tickled with this gun,its more like shooting a 1911 for me and IMO 1911s are the best shooting pistols ever invented by humans :).. Im sad to see our own people buying it up and trying to sell it for 2x and 3x profit at shows and on the internet These are the same people who complained about CTD and then are sticking it to us...

Paid 480 for brand new G26 gen3 2 weeks ago at my LGS  buddy paid 525 for brand new G26Gen4 yesterday,same LGS     Glocks hold resale value better than any other polymer gun out there XDs,Berettas  and M&Ps etc drop like stones and why I wont own one anymore.  I see used guns for as much as new for sale alot,sucker born every day I guess

I can Dehorn the slide if need be but I didnt notice any issue....Its not as slick as my PM9 for sure   I looked at the CM45 but felt the extra round would be nice and its only .25 ,more grip area

    it can use 1911 mags with a slight mod which I looked into,ill give it a go myself and see  Theres a few vids on what needs to be done so the mag can clear the extractor    http://kahrtalk.com/showthread.php?t=3317   recoil is subjective,the reports I have seen say its easy and compared to the XDs even lower recoil

Bet you didnt know you can buy this for under 400 bucks OTD........ I ordered one this week they seem to average 340-350 bucks at LGS,I know of no other 45ACP for this price and its made in the USA...has 6+1 cap and one of the best triggers I ever shot less than 1 inch thick I find it hard to beat .....Range report to follow
