It is kinda obvious that the cat in the video has never used a tool in his life.

I would never back into a corner. Make sure I leave an out. A sniper perch like your roof would be good, as long as you have a quick out. The RV parked at the edge of the roof would be good, as long as Jimmy doesn't open the door.

Pretty awesome. I called the prison in the final scene. Michonne's appearance was pretty awesome too. I wanted to see Andrea die, but after watching her beat the one walker's head into a tree, I was kinda rooting for her. I like Rick's line about it no longer being a democracy.

Yes and no.Rick's big stainless Python is being used to symbolize his power. It has been used now to put down two members of the group in good standing. Rick even allowed Daryl to wield it. However I don't think this applies to all revolvers. For one simple reason. That is what Lori carries. Lori is in no way, shape or form a peacekeeper, or a 'strong' member of the group.

Wife Side-Swiped a Pole With My New Truck Today
Murgatroy replied to Seabeejason's topic in General Chat
I was hit while driving the wife's car a few years ago. I called the police, I called work, then I called my wife. My first words were "How bad did you want a new car?" It took a while, but she got over it. As for the hit and run... Several years ago I was living in Indianapolis, several friends and I attended a Colts game. As we were leaving, a truck that was parked near us backed out and hit a car, the driver pulled back forward and attempted to drive off. That was when nearly twenty people, myself included, swarmed his truck and forced him to wait for the owner of the car to arrive. It helped to restore faith in humanity, because it was a nearly instantaneous action, no one stood there mouth agape wondering what to do, the crowd moved en mass to stop him from fleeing the scene. -
I hate to hear that.I only had the first half of Ahern's Survivalist, but thanks to McKay's I have nearly closed that gap. I may wind up using Amazon to fill the rest of the holes. As a kid I read nonstop. It is hard for folks to believe that someone my age only had one channel of television growing up, so I didn't watch a lot of TV. Spent most of my time doing productive things or reading. I have most of Weiss and Hickman's novels, Dragonlance and Deathgate Cycle. My daughter is actually named after one of the deity's from Dragonlance. All of the influential Fantasy novels I have a copy or two of, JRR Tolkien, Card, Heinlein, Leiber, Anthony. I never got into much of Salvatore's fantasy, but I do have some copies, same with Moorcock, but I have read them. I was a fan of Jordan's Wheel of Time, but it got to be too bulky after something like the ninth novel. As an adult that spends more than fifty hours a week at work, I have found my time to read drastically reduced. My wife, who is an avid reader picks on me about it. She will go through several hundred books a year. I might read two. I have found my leisure reading replaced with Wikipedia, which has become a fair bit of an addiction to me.

Um. No. Kudos to the cat though. Just not my cup of tea.

I didn't even have to argue it with my wife.I ordered mine on Black Friday. She was in the kitchen cooking and asked me, "Well, if they are that cheap, why don't you just buy two?"

Since I am in the process of moving, I have a fair bit in boxes right now. However, I have several large fixed blade knives still in my desk drawer. My desk will be one of the last things packed. An AR-15 in the top box of the stack next to the desk. Glock 19 in the wicker basket on top of the hutch. Lamp on the desk.

Nope. The Walmart base carbine and the Academy base carbine are the same, and priced within a dollar of each other. I bought mine at Academy.

I vote for the standard scope as well. I think there is a more special feeling in being able to see your target, and shots, in an upclose feeling that a red dot wouldn't deliver.

http://www.bowenclassicarms.com/about.html I have heard he is rumored to be among the best.

Well I send my deposit up tomorrow, and sign the lease papers on the 19th, looks like we are moving to Shelbyville. Keeps us out of Jefferson County, and isn't a half bad drive to work. Plus, I am less than an hour away from Buds Gun Shop... And I look right out my back door and over my patio to a horse pasture.

Hasn't stopped me.My daughter has been given my first rifle, an Iver Johnson Lil' Champ my father bought me over thirty years ago. She complains that it is not pink, so I am building her a dedicated .22LR AR, in pink.

I actually think it is cheaper to order from PSA and transfer them. All the stripped lowers I see locally are $130+, including at the gunshow. PSA stripped lowers are $79 right now, so transfered they would be $117. The $10 TICs is a wash, as you pay it regardless.

I have to admit that I really like the full railed version, and it is less than half the price of anything else similar out there.

That is one of the rules of a zombie film though, zombies don't exist in the culture, otherwise folks would know what to do. I have yet to see a zombie film that the characters understood what was going on from the word go.

Because civilians aren't allowed to own full autos manufactured after 1986. Dwindling supply, rising demand. There are plenty of them out there, but they never made it to civilian hands, they went to LEAs and stayed there.

I don't save my brass, but I have thought about it. I have actually left the range cold for extended periods and helped folks pick up brass (he and I were the only ones there) so that we could get back to shooting faster. The fellow could have asked. That would have been the polite thing to do. However as the youngster, you did the right thing by just letting him be.

GM's Hyrdamatic plant produced M-16s in the late 60s, early 70s. I assume some made it to the general market in semi-auto form.

I think the prison will be in the next episode, at the end. Season finale style. I am also pretty sure that Randall, the kid that Shane killed, is from the Woodbury Army. The third season has been announced, and it is confirmed that the Governor will be the main antagonist. This is AMC's highest rated show ever, it has broken many records for cable television. I don't see it ending anytime soon.

There is also Beth's boyfriend and Otis' wife.

I saw a Colt SP1 slabside rifle at the show today. I didn't feel like paying $1700 for it though.

In the comics, if they can be considered cannon to the series, all dead come back regardless of method of death. In Shane's case, Carl shot Shane. After Rick discovers that all death leads to zombies, he digs Shane's corpse back up, which is a zombie, he then shoots him. The difference in the series is that Rick killed living Shane, Carl killed walker Shane. Opposite of the comics.

I liked the way that went down, similar to the comics, which is odd at this point. Next week looks like a lot of fun.
