Ford had IRS on the 2000+ Cobra. Ford also put IRS on the Thunderchicken in `89. Now, I have been a Chevrolet fan as well as a Ford fan for as long as I can remember, owning nearly as many Camaros as I have Mustangs (I do think the Mustangs win out by two or three, but I have owned a couple dozen of each.) I will now only own a Ford. For everyone out there screaming that Ford has nothing to compete with the Corvette, well they weren't the ones that needed a government bailout when American manufacturers realized that they couldn't compete with foreign makers while making a subpar product and paying their workers too much. Ford made sustainable products, the F150 and the Mustang were at the forefront of that. They were vehicles that Americans wanted. And still do. I have never desired a Corvette. It breaks my heart, because I honestly think the SBC is the greatest engine ever created, but I will not own a Chevrolet again. I have an SBC swapped S-10 that I left back in my stepfather's barn in Tennessee when I moved. It broke my heart, but I just can't bring myself to play with it anymore. I know that being political about Chevrolet and Chrysler's collapse isn't what everyone feels, but it is what I feel. I left my `67 New Yorker back home too. My Ford is outside. Next to my Toyota...

Not only is that a good deal for what is offered, that is a screaming deal for what is offered on an OD Glock. A lot of folks are marking them up another 20% on resale, because it is 'collectible.' Snap that puppy up fast.

I guess that is one point for Sons of Guns, at least they make a point of the NFA Paperwork when they sell an NFA item. Things like that are good. I have lost count of the times I have had a friend ask me if I have to have a license for my AR, or that think it is impossible to own a full auto.

I had an 1858 Pietta. I was rather fond of it. Kinda wish I still had it.

I have a Zippo as part of my EDC.

Are you sure of that title? Was it Diary of the Dead? Diary of the Dead was an atrocious film that I regret to say I watched on opening day because it was a return of a real Romero film. However, if was Zombie Diaries, I have another film to add to my list.

So you opted not to change it to Baby Blue Prius Driver?

You are gonna like it...

Ding.I love steering wheel controls, but I hate factory radios... I use adapters a fair bit.

Other than in CTD, I haven't seen or heard of them.

It drug at some points, was highly predictable at others, but was a thoroughly enjoyable watch. I am eagerly waiting on it as there is nothing else of value on TV right now.

Zing.Sums up my feelings on the matter as well.

Slide mounted safety/decocker. Here is a stock picture. Not my gun, which is still on order.

The one they had in the case had simple three dot sights. I am not sure what will be on the new one, I assume the same. I formulated a list several years ago, when I got serious into firearms. 9mm has become my default caliber. I grandfathered into several thousand rounds of 9mm from my father. As such, I saw no need to buy anything that chambered different. Fast forward more than a decade, and all of that 9mm is gone, however, I have grown used to the round. To be completely honest, I don't think I have shot more than 1000 rounds combined of anything else in a pistol. .357 is the anomaly, being as I beat through the woods with a Marlin lever action chambered for it. I have shot more through a rifle in that caliber than a pistol. Background aside. I formulated a list of historically significant 9x19mm pistols. My Glock was defaulted to the list as it is what I carry. It is a short list. Beretta 92, Browning/FN Hipower, CZ 75. Throughout history these are some of the most internationally recognized 9mm pistols of the last half century. The Jericho 941 fills the CZ spot on the list, as it is a well made clone, that is in my opinion more aesthetically pleasing than the CZ. I am still on the fence about adding the Steyr GB to the list, but I have had that on my radar for a long while.

After years of lusting after one I stepped foot into a local shop up here that just happened to have a Baby Eagle II Compact in steel in the case. After years of thinking I wanted the full size, and paying no attention to the compact or semi compact, it all went away the second that sweet thing hit my hand. I spent the next two months drooling on the case until I finally got permission from the boss. She may or may not have been bribed. So last weekend she spotted a Rossi Ranch Hand. I may have used the fact that Zoe from Firefly/Serenity used one of these on the show, which was all it took. I finally had permission to get the Jericho. So I stroll back into the shop this morning with high hopes, and had them all dashed to pieces. It was no longer in the case. Someone had bought it. There has been another customer in the shop the last couple of times I visited (it has become an every Saturday thing for me to grab some ammo) and I was not the only one lusting after the Baby Eagle. Last week when I left, he called his wife, told her if he didn't buy it right then, someone else was going to. And it went home with him. For once, that line worked, and was right. But all hope was not lost. The proprietor promptly ordered me a new one, matched the old price and all is right in the world again. I might also add that his price is better than Buds, which also within driving distance. I am rather excited, It is my opinion that the Jericho 941/Baby Eagle (in steel) is the most aesthetically pleasing firearm I have ever seen. I have seriously been lusting after this pistol for years, and was crushed when they stopped being imported. Now I am finally at a point in life where I have enough disposable income to buy something plainly because I just damn want it. I have found a supplier for holsters, but I am striking out on magazines. This is the compact that feeds from the 12 round mags. I know I can order them from Magnum Research, but I wonder if anyone could get them cheaper.
-
Me too.I am curious how the bolt will hold up, as I understand it there is a little lever that comes down as you are closing the bolt to feed the new round from the magazine? If it is reliable, it would be a bolt action other than a milsurp I could see myself owning.

What is said above, as well, the owner of the rebar can charge the thieves for the cost of the tow bill and impound, plus anything else related, if they have been charged with the theft. I am not a lawyer though, and that would be something your buddy might be better off asking a lawyer.

I don't golf, but I shoot, and draw a bow right handed. I throw right handed. I play bass left handed. I used a mouse right handed (being an IT Tech it makes it easier when using someone else's computer, so I gravitated that way too.) I write, draw and eat left. One benefit I found as a kid, a lot of folks expect a swing to come from the right, you can get two or three real good blows in before they realized what was going on, being a southpaw... But then I grew up and got married.

Being that he is wearing one of those flying squirrel suits, it is not like a real free fall. Still, not for me.

Bugger. I need more parts...

Ditto.

With or without a magazine? Something is catching, and causing the locking lugs to rotate and catch the front trunion. Take the dustcover off, while it is stuck. Look on the left side looking up the rifle as if you were going to fire it. The locking lug is catching just a hair on the front trunion. With the magazine in, it puts the pressure on the bottom of the bolt, causing it to rotate early. Refer to my earlier posts. This is the exact same issue I had with my WASR that drove me batty for almost a year. Mine was due to a bent rail. On the right side just above the mag well. The rail is attached at the rear of the rail, allowing it to bend. The bolt rides on this. If it is bent, when the magazine is inserted the bolt will rotate early, and catch a lug on the front trunnion.

It wasn't an issue for me at all. It is as natural as breathing to me now to shoot with either hand. But to be honest, I gravitate to my right hand at this point in life.
-
Same. The downside is the both my wife and daughter are right handed left eye dominant. And I don't know how to deal with that. Learning to shoot right handed made since in a right handed world.
