  1. Makes me sick.   I spend $400 a month on food and toiletries for a family of three. We live well.   My meth whore sister gets $800 a month in food stamps for her family of three.   They eat steak and drink Mountain Dew.         Guess it is a good thing I don't mind chicken and sweet tea.
  2. Wow doesn't even begin to describe that.
  3. I found a box of .22LR at Walmart this morning.     Sure, it was just a box of 50 Subsonic, but I bought it.
  4. This is still the only gun forum I am active on.    Hell, I moved away more than a year ago.
  5. Poor Boyd.   Good wrap up of it all.
  6. Fair story as always Brian.   I enjoy reading unbiased news, from either slant.
  7. .30-06 is still really common up here, it is one of four or five calibers still on the shelf. .30-30, .243, .270, .22-250...
  8. Same math I used, same numbers I came up with.   For .22WMR that is a good price. I am used to paying prepanic 9mm prices for it.
  9. Glad to hear you are alive and well.   It is sad that sometimes a stupid tax is fatal, but this should be a lesson to pay more attention while driving.
  10. The Steyr GB is on my bucket list.
  11. Feller walked into my LGS yesterday and asked for some. The shop owner told him he had a better chance of finding a gold nugget laying the street.
  12. I am down for this next year.
  13. There was no doubt that garage was spectacular. The warehouse was across the street. I worked there out of highschool when it was a sewing factory. I remember one day they opened the sealed side up for us to go in and do some electrical work. There were dozens of engines in racks and at least fifteen more cars (in addition to the ten or so he kept in the garage across the street.)   As a kid, that was something else to see. To this day, I don't think I have seen a private collection that even compares.   I tried for years, but he always made it clear, nothing was for sale.   I can't remember if it was the Cyclone Spoiler or the Talladega Torino, but one of them he owned was used as the basis for the Revell model of the same. He kept a sealed box of it in the passenger seat.       Like you I worry about what happened to those cars. It has been years since I have seen them, and I know that he was adamant about keeping them all together. If he has passed, I worry that his family piecemealed it all out. One one hand I hope they went to good homes and were restored, on the other, I would have liked to see them stay together. That was on hell of a collection.
  14. Tellico Plains, Kinley Atkins Motor Company.   It has been fifteen years or more, but he had no less than six Superbirds and Daytonas. He has Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II and several other late 60's early 70's NASCAR Homologation cars. It was in that garage that I first saw a 426 Hemi.
  15. That wasn't a way to end an episode.   And I can't believe Colt is gone. I for sure thought it would be Johnny this episode, and I was willing to put money on Colt downing Tim.
  16. I think it would be neat to see it publicized, purchased then used for a pro gun agenda. Target shooting would be too easy and could possible feed the liberal agenda, but surely we could think of something.
  17. Gallons. I always go gallons.   Unless I have to go price.
  18. Yeah, jail is where that moron needs to be.    We had a story up here were a woman was tailgating a guy on a bike, then cut around him almost hitting him, she got stopped at a light, he came up next to her and she shot him to death. Claimed she was in fear for her life. She got a pretty hefty prison sentence for it.
  19. Pretty impressive.
  20. My cousin was hit and killed by a drunk driver ten years ago. He had been in court that day for this sixth offense. My cousin and her fiance were driving home to Lenoir City after announcing their engagement and pregnancy to my aunt and uncle. The drunk was leaving a bar, celebrating the extension of his court date. He had his headlights off and was doing near 100MPH. My cousin was killed on impact, her sister, my younger cousin was in the back seat and was in a coma for several days.   It has been a while since I heard anything, but I know that he was out on bail before my younger cousin was out of the hospital or her sister was in the ground.   My uncle couldn't take the grief and wound up taking his own life a handful of years later.   But that POS drunk is still out there breathing somewhere, and that is bull####.   There is no way I could convict the man in this story. If he needs monetary assistance, tell me where to send it.
  21. Leave it to LMPD to arrest them...
  22. Congratulations!
  23. I always wanted to learn to play the fiddle and banjo. I was a poor guitar player, so I played bass. I played drums for years, thought about picking up a set, but my wife said no. I have too many toys.   So I pouted.
  24. I hate to hear this and my thoughts and prayers are with him.
