  1. Cabelas had PMC Brass for $10/20 Saturday, several shelves full.
  2. The amount of money we spend every day on crap, I don't mind dropping $10 to wander around looking at guns. Sometimes I hit a good deal, sometimes I don't buy anything.   If I took the family out for an afternoon at the mall, it would cost me ten times more, and I wouldn't have any fun at all.
  3. I saw one the other day, and I was taken aback. This site is so professional in look with limited signatures and avatars. Makes it so nice to browse.
  4. Yes.   Thank you.   I have been pondering the situation that would bring me to a very similar build. And now I have the answers.   That looks awesome.
  5. I would buy one. $300 for a stripped lower isn't that insane anymore.
  6. Being in the industry, it is just easier to assume, and explain to my drivers that a single drink and getting behind the wheel can cost you your career.   When it comes to your livelihood, there is no need to gamble.   I don't drink period. I don't have issues with anyone else drinking. I just choose not to.
  7. Yes, it is.   But with a CDL if you blow over .4 in your PERSONAL car, you can be charged and lose your license.
  8. I had a dear cousin killed by a drunk driver. He had been in court that day for something like his sixth offense.   I am all for getting drunks off of the road.   But lowering the limit isn't going to anything. A criminal is a criminal. All it will do is net more revenue for city/county and fill the jails.   I was watching the news this morning. A woman was doing 75MPH+ through a 35MPH zone and hit a school bus. She had a BAC of over .24. So, she was doing double the speed limit, three times over the legal limit. What I want to know, why was she in court? Why wasn't she sitting in a cell? This happened six months ago.   Texting and driving, is more dangerous than drunk driving. Steep statement, I know, but the issue is that it is even more common, many times isn't punishable and EVERYONE does it. From the parents driving their kids to school, to the kids driving to school to the cats driving to work. Every day, all day long. You have someone that is driving distracted. Plain and simple.
  9. I am cross dominant.   Left handed, right eye.   I have shot right handed my entire life. As mentioned above, I am ambidextrous through life. I don't have a weak side.   My daughter is the opposite. Right handed, left eye.   I am raising her to shoot rifles left handed, pistols either hand. Same as me.
  10. That was great, and true on many levels.
  11. It is a great show, but I am of the opinion that Season Four, the one that just ended was the best of them all.
  12. I wound up buying a $20 hand held steamer for my mil surp endeavors.   Easy doesn't even begin to describe how it works. I have yet to find something it doesn't clean in a matter of seconds.
  13. Ooh, a Steyr GB, it has been on my short list for nearly thirty years.       *EDIT*   Bugger, that is two Unicorns again...
  14. I have plenty of 30 and 40 year old ammo that still goes bang. None of it was stored with silica.   I have a feeling that it wouldn't hurt it at all to treat it well though.
  15. It changes.   Before I bought my Jericho, it was a Jericho. Now I guess it could be anther Jericho, but it isn't fair to have two unicorns.   Today it is a repop Colt 1851 Richards Mason conversion with a 5.5" barrel in .38SPL.   Don't know what it will be tomorrow.
  16. I am fond of her.   I liked the story behind her and her sister. That was nearly a tearjerker.
  17. Don't know if anyone is still watching this, but my wife and I are digging it.   I need to find time to pick up the game.

    IHeartRadio

I have been using IHeart non stop for the last six months. It has turned me onto A LOT of good music.
  19. Love the site, I lose hours there every now and then.
  20.     I am hoping I am seeing a disconnect here. The FN/Browning Hi-Power is going to be of very high quality. Maybe not custom fit quality, but still comparing a BMW to a Mercedes.   I am a Glock user, however, if I had to grab the pistol that fit and shot better it would be my Jericho (CZ clone.) It is a DA/SA, full steel pistol and it is a very accurate and light shooter. However, my Glock is what leaves the house with me on a daily basis.   So, to echo the sentiment here, if you want to broaden your search a little bit, add the Hi-Power and the CZ 75 to your search criteria.   Otherwise I have to say get the M&P if you like it and it fits you hand well.   It is just my opinion, but just like cars and guitars, you don't buy the best one out the gate to learn with, it doesn't leave you any room to move up. Buying the Sig would be a waste of a lot of features that you bluntly won't recognize or appreciate with your limited experience and could eventually make it more difficult to transition to a different pistol.
  21. Makes my `13 Mustang seem so plain now...       I like it a lot.
  22. Don't forget that they have EMS right there if things go bad.
