I am lame, I just got back from the midnight release. I think my wife is gonna skin me, but I am 50% done with the install.

Agreed, I don't think the phone call cleared her. That was his intent, but I don't think it did. There is a reason the house is condemned.

I remember reading somewhere that the goal of the writers was to make us hate Walt before the end. To take him from a sympathetic character we could identify with, to an evil that we hate. I think Jesse is supposed to be our grounding rod at this point, the conscience. At the end, he and Walt Jr. are the only two characters (well, Holly as well, but she is not much of a character) that I hope survive.

I liked the phone call. Pretty intense episode.

My first knife was a Buck 105 Pathfinder. I was 5. Times were different back then. It is my daughters now.

I followed this for a while when she was blogging about it. I am glad to see she finally got it done.

The way my boss tells it is that it is simpler to price all the cards, anything worth <$5 he puts in a box and donates to charity with an itemized price list. He takes the write off. Anything >$5 he puts on eBay for $1 Buy it Now. On occasion he finds a high dollar card, say $50 or better, those he sells off at a decent pace at $20. He buys entire collections and makes his money back, but this is his hardcore hobby. I would be willing to bet that he puts 100+ hours a week into it for ~$5 an hour profit. For a hobby, that isn't bad I suppose, but for a get rich quick scheme, it blows. Granted, he is also one of those douchebags that is selling bricks of ammo on Gunbroker for $60. He even offered me $40 a brick for some of my stuff to sell it at a profit. I told him to kiss my ass.

No personal experience, but my boss is into this big time. He buys entire collections from Craigslist then piecemeals them out through eBay. If you want to sell them all outright and be done, CL might be the way to go. My understanding is that the `80s and `90s aren't really worth that much though, but I could be wrong, like I said, this ain't my bag.

That was unnecessary. Got to push that agenda.

I don't like the idea of a movie. End it, be done with it. If the ending is right, there is no need for a movie. Sometimes a plot, or characters don't need to be milked to death.

The whole thing was a dream. Walt wakes up, he is back in class, none of this ever happened...

I look forward to Tuesdays again.

Let me preface this with the information that I am the proud and involved parent of a seven year old daughter. With that said, My Lil' Pony: Friendship is Magic is a great cartoon that teaches good life lessons in an easy to digest way. But that is kinda where I get lost. The characters are fun, easy to identify with an very unique with their own personal quirks. I support my daughter's love of MLP, just as I support her love of TMNT and Hot Wheels. I am just glad that most of these shows are tolerable enough that I don't mind watching them, and in some cases, even enjoy them. To me, that is the secret. Making children's television entertaining to adults while still maintaining a G rating.

I have been on the preorder for a while now for GTA: V. As for Kings of Leon... Eh, I have never really cared for them at all. I wouldn't go so far as to say I hate them... But there is distaste there for sure.

I am a huge Luc Besson fan. He has been responsible for some of my favorite films
-
You would think that would be a hard sell, but I am sure there is someone out there just begging to get their hands on it.

I hate you. That will never get out of my head.

I paid $30 for an RCA version of a Roku, plugs up through HDMI and rocks off of my WiFi. Hulu, Netflix, ect... We just use it for Netflix. Which my XBOX360, Bluray player and my Wii (though not in HD,) also do. I have every television in the house, streaming at minimum Netflix ( best $8 a month I could ever imagine spending.) That doesn't take into account the five computers or other assorted internet devices (DS, PSP, Android Phones x3) that are floating around. I could imagine spending the $35 for the device if it functioned as a wireless HDMI connection off of my computer to my television, but for a limited streaming service, I have too many other devices that do that, as well as other stuff.

There are wins, and then there are wins.

I can't honestly answer this. She monitors my online communications. However, I will admit, and not because I am at gunpoint, or that my life is in danger; that my life is better with her in it.

I have an old Cobra radio in my hotrod.

I think my favorite one was last year when the school sent me a letter telling me that if I wanted my daughter to be insured at the school, I had to pay the premium. However, if she was on free or reduced lunch, they would waive that fee. If I wanted her to play sports, I had to pay that premium as well, unless of course, she was on free or reduced lunch. I have lost count of the crap she has brought home where they want money from me. I am a member of the PTA/PTO and it is a joke. The meetings are a bunch of folks standing around patting one another on the back. The 'big' thing last year was spending $2000 to get the 'premium' status of a government funded online program. The one last week was good, a fund raiser, with that magazine that has the tins of cookies and the smoked meats. There wasn't a thing in there for less than $20. But hey, if the kid sells 20 items, she gets to go to a special all day party at the school. That resulted in a nasty email to the Superintendent. As a tax paying, attentive parent, the schools make me sick, but something we need to understand is that we are the minority now. We are getting the government we deserve with the majority vote now. That is what makes me the sickest. I am a taxpaying voter. The majority now isn't.

What kind of dog is best about not wandering from property?

I researched breeds for two years before we got a pup. Border Collie and Lab are the two pretty much do it all breeds. I am fond of fixed females. They are calmer in my experience. -
Here is Bandit stealing a sock, then teasing the former owner of said sock. Dammit. She hates my toe shoes too.
