  1. So I was at Rural King the other day, and they had a Mr. Beer Kit for under $10. They had a two pack refill kit for under $6. So, three cases of beer for $16, and I get to make it myself? Sign me up. The Heathen helped me start the first batch tonight. So in like six weeks, we will see how it turned out. I have read mixed reviews on the kit, but considerably more good than bad. The main focus is the quality control of the components. I double checked everything during assembly and it all came out solid, no leaks. I was like a surgeon during the sanitation process. So, yeah, if the kit works, it should do what it does right. I tried the Azteca style first, I guess it is supposed to be a Corona knock off. I haven't decided if I will use the plastic bottles that came with the kit, or go full on glass press on caps. For the first batch I think I will stay cheap and use what came with it. But if it works well, I might invest in some glass bottles. I am excited about trying beer I brewed myself. Like I needed another hobby.
  2. I have been using iHeart radio exclusively for about four years now. I create my own 'custom' stations and it keeps in in tunes that I am in the mood for. In the cars I link to the main stereo, on the bike I keep headphones in. I would go insane without iHeart, as traditional radio kills me. Between morning shows, self absorbed DJs and a catalog of ten songs, it baffles me that folks still bother listening.
  3. Don't forget, the world is full of stupid people.
  4. Like a boss.
  5. I have a small duffel bag in the trunk with a first aid kit, an emergency air compressor, jumper cables, some USCG emergency rations, tire plug kit, multitool and flashlight. It sits in the corner of the trunk and I know it is there if I need it. That is in addition to other items in the car, such as some water bottles, a spare tire, tire iron, pens, and tire gauge.
  6. Sometimes it only takes one moron to ruin it all for everyone.
  7. I can't seem to move beyond Larceny. At the price point, it is great. I keep walking into the bourbon aisle (which accounts for a full third of any spirits store in Kentucky) and perusing the wares. I always leave with a bottle of Larceny. I did do a little bottle of some Bulleit the other night, and it was really good. I came close to picking it last night to replace my nightly drinks, but I didn't.
  8. They sure are a pretty pistol. I would like to have one, but it is not high on the list.
  9. It is also worth noting that the bicycle/rider might be a 225lb combo vs 700lb for the motorcycles. You don't need that much traction for braking or riding at that weight. Not my cup of tea though.
  10. That is pretty impressive.
  11. It's a Honda. Which means it will be solid. If that is your bag. If it were what I wanted, I doubt I would have an issue with it. I think the Subaru Baja was a better take on it. More car, same amount of truck, all awesome. Oh, and it came with a Turbo. Myself, being blindly brand loyal, I keep hoping the World Ranger is released in the USDM market.
  12. I am not sure that much hate is healthy. Have you thought about seeking counselling?
  13. My daughter turns ten in a week. She had been shooting for five years. She goes to State Finals in two weeks as a ranked shooter. Girls can shoot, and have a lot of fun doing it. See if you can find a 4H Shooting Sports in your respective county, you won't regret it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  14. My wife's next car will most likely be a Subaru. What they offer at their price point is exceptional. Plus the rear seat room on an Outback is insane, even at 6' I am comfortable. Plus her girlfriend really likes them.
  15. I bought my daughter an Otterbox for her phone. She has dropped ur and done no harm. I prefer a Magpul case as it is slimmer. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  16. I yanked the A/C out of my little Toyota a long time ago. Thank goodness she isn't my daily driver anymore. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  17. I have about a half dozen extra detent pins. I only needed to learn that lesson once.
  18. Well, I need that.
  19. Needs more copper. I like it.
  20. Wright Patterson is probably my vacation destination this year. Leave the heathen and wife at Great Wolf Lodge, spend the day at the museum. I would love to take my daughter, but if the wife goes, we won't be there five minutes before she is ready to leave, and whining. That is why I quit taking her to gun shows.
  21. Already a member there. Have been for about a year while I did my research. Sent from my SPH-L710T using Tapatalk
  22. Forward controls, handgrips and a bikini fairing.
  23. As mentioned above the spring loaded window breaking device has been around for years. It is standard issue for first responders.
  24. I know I am late to the party, but I am a bourbon newbie. I bought a bottle of Larceny on the recommendation of this thread, and I must admit it is nice and smooth.
  25. I am on my second Torin Black Jack from Walmart. The first one lasted over a decade of semi-frequent use. I bought my new one about a year ago. I think it was $20?
