  1. If I think about it and can remember, I will burn you a copy of it. It is really good.Of course you could probably find it online somewhere and download it... It was a Metallica album that was worth buying, which was satisfying after buying a couple that weren't.
  2. Welcome aboard, plenty of good folks in East Tennessee.

    decisions

I am biased. I carry a Gen 3. Guess what I am gonna pick?
  4. I prefer Metallic over Megadeth, though I do like both. I saw Megadeth back in the late 90's, Mustaine can put on a good show. As Mustaine is the only constant member, it is easier for him to continue making the same sound he wants. The one thing that bothers me, although he has gotten better in recent years, is his unabashed hatred against Metallica. I wasn't there, so I won't take sides, but the fact that they still gave him writing credit for all the songs he collaborated with means they didn't entirely hate him. He went on to found and create the second greatest Thrash Metal band of all time, second only to his nemesis. I don't think he did badly all in all. Death Magnetic was a great album. It really got Metallica back where they belonged and made them relevant again. Personally I prefer Ride the Lightning and consider ...and Justice for All their last great album. Though there are some good songs on each album except the one that shall not be mentioned. I have bought everything they have released since the Black Album at midnight of the release date. I don't think I listened to the one that shall not be mentioned twice. Death Magnetic was superb and put me in a mind of Black Album studio finishing with ...and Justice for All passion.
  5. Ever had a beer? If so enjoy those hypocritical thoughts. If not, more power too you. You are a strong person.
  6. Looks similar to a Rohm .22L I have, but the markings don't sound the same.
  7. Uncle Ted is the man.
  8. This is what we do with my daughter. At three she was reeling them in as fast as she could cast. We cut a worm into about five pieces and used the same worm to catch a dozen or so bluegill.
  9. I have that in the backseat of my car. I need to get around to reading it.

    Gravel Roads

I grew up on those roads, Wildcat, Old Furnace, Watering Trough, Bald River Road, Finger Board, Ivy Trail, Lookout and more. Great trails out there, and most of them are decent enough to go down in a car.
  11. I have thought about the same thing for a camping/shooting site.
  12. I like the concept. That price is steep, but if this range is going on in California, that is probably about right. I would consider it in Tennessee for around $300 a year per member, the cost of living difference is a big thing. Then there are also clubs that offer some of the same things locally (or did last time I checked) such as the discounts and ammo costs but don't offer as much in ranges. They are also much cheaper typically in the $200 range. If it included on site camping, I think I could be enticed to go as high as $500.
  13. It would be nice, but I am not gonna count on it.
  14. As I have told my wife: "If I am prepared for the Zombie Apocalypse, I am prepared for anything." In short is a lot more fun to think about a Zombie Outbreak than it is a flood or rioting. Hell, here in Knoxville it doesn't take anything more than the sky clouding up in December to cause panic and chaos in the streets.
  15. Same. When I am at work I wear button down shirts, sometimes with a tie, slacks and fancy shiny shoes. My hair is combed and my beard is neatly trimmed. When I go out on Saturday I am in a twenty year old beat up ball cap, a t-shirt and a pair of jeans (most likely stained since I pretend I am a mechanic on occasion.) No one ever bothers to notice the beat up boots that cost a pretty penny and will last a decade. Oh, and I am also covered in tattoos with a sleeve. Do I get treated differently? Yeah. Does it bother me? No. I actually get a kick out of it. I have a good job, am well educated, have a great family and know what makes me happy. To me, that means I am better off than a lot of folks in the world, especially those that would judge me.
  16. Minded your own business.
  17. I will be staying put. Everyone who didn't prepare will be out moving. I don't for a second think I will be the last man on earth. Which means every Tom, Dick and Harry will be headed to Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and the National Guard Armory. Not to mention the soldiers will still be there. I will sit at home and wait it out. After my food runs out, I assume that 90% of the population will have already won a Darwin Award of some form, that is when I will venture out.
  18. Seconded.
  19. I have noticed that. I joined Zombiehunters.org, better known as Zombie Squad. It is an S&P oriented site. Their Western NC group welcomed me. But there is nothing in ET.
  20. I have been to several, but not in the last ten years or so. We have bought lots of furniture and vehicles from estate auctions. The last few I was at it just seems like they were driving the prices way higher than the real value of the items.
  21. I spent a couple of summers in my youth prepping, pouring and finishing slabs and driveways, this was our preferred method for getting concrete into hard to reach places. Have it mixed wet, fill the bucket on a skidsteer and take it where you want it. I think you are thinking of the portable mixers you see behind a truck.
  22. I wasn't sure how I was gonna feel about it when you first started talking about it, but after seeing the finished product, I like it. It is not for me, but it looks really nice. Sucks about the hand, but at least you have something to show for the scar.
  23. I was hoping for the Glock.
  24. Present and accounted for, 8:39PM 7/27. I tried about twenty minutes ago and it was down, but it is up now.
