  1. I am fond of Norris. I have taken folks up there on many occasions, but we always stop and get a $20 day pass. I have had a membership there for a couple of years now. It is normally empty when I go (Sundays,) and there is never a lack of things to shoot at. My personal favorite is to set up on the far right, shoot at the 50yd with pistols and rifles, but I spend most of my time plinking at the empty shot shells (free targets) with my .22LR from about 10-15yd.
  2. I have read a few later reviews that state the gun is running better, something about a spring and buffer revision. I am highly intrigued by the thoughts of an AR type 9mm carbine that feeds from Glock mags, but I am hesitant to drop $1000+ for the LWD lower+upper, the Olympic Arms K9 is hard to find with a Glock magwell. The JR carbine is better looking than the Thureon, but they are both ugly. I have never been able to get comfortable with a Keltec Sub2k, the cheek weld is a nightmare for me. I have thought about grabbing a JR Carbine if I ever saw one in person in the $500 range, as long as it was a new manufacture.
  3. Next week will be fun.
  4. Awesome. I can go to sleep without watching the whole thing.
  5. Great read, I am terrified of flying, but I love planes.
  6. I see what you did there...
  7. Bump for a good rant.
  8. I am rooting for Dustin, he seems to be a genuinely nice guy. Honest and real. I won't watch it until the second airing, I have to watch SoA first.
  9. Daryl is rapidly becoming me favorite character.
  10. You won't get much out of them. Gunstores adhere to the buy low, sell high. Realistically, you may get $200 a piece for your trades. Going from the XD to the Glock you will need to be aware of the change in grip angle and the lack of a grip safety. Other than that the triggers work pretty much the same way.
  11. He was shot by another survivor. Otis I think is his name.
  12. Works for me. Sent from my lair with smoke and mirrors.
  13. Downloading it now. Thanks. I check Amazon every day waiting on this.
  14. I was eyeballing that yellow Mustang they are parked next too.
  15. Not how I saw that character going out at all. I saw it coming at the start of that arc, but it was still sad and shocking when it happened. I am interested to see how the vote goes down. Tonight was a really good episode.
  16. So fifty million, cash option would be twenty-five million, taxes would cut you to fifteen million approximately. I would pay off all of my debt. Drop about ten million in an interest bearing account, even at a low rate, such as 2% I would still be making enough back to cover all of my taxes and if I live moderately enough to keep my reoccurring bills, such as cable, insurance and power payed. That leave me with a little less than five million. Find a nice plot of land, say seventy-five to one-hundred acres, build a nice, reasonably sized house in the middle of it. After that I am kinda done. I would probably invest a good portion of the remaining money in education for myself and my daughter.
  17. I am glad I am not the only one who was thinking "Really!?"
  18. If it follows the comics, it is Shane's.
  19. Change the text to white, so that it matches the background. Some versions of VB also have a tag that will make the text a black box that you have to highlight to read.
  20. I felt there were too many commercials. To a degree the show is following the comics, to a degree they aren't. Because of that it is unfair to say where certain characters are or aren't, as some have lasted longer on the show, and some didn't exist at all in the comics. I will have to say that Daryl Dixon is becoming a worthwhile character. I am glad he was added.
  21. There are two theories. *SPOILERS* Highlight the blank spot to read. "One is about Lori's pregnancy.. The other is that the government caused this."
  22. WTF? Good start. Didn't see that coming till a second before it happened.
  23. I caught the first ten minutes, missed twenty and came back totally confused and unable to grasp what was happening.
  24. Great episode last night. Many things happened that I just sat there in amazement.
  25. I am in the Goodlettsville area if it makes a difference. I passed the Bass Pro in Oprymills. I may hit that. I have been to the one in Sevierville and the one in Dallas.
