I always preferred a melee class myself.

The .357SIG will work fine in a .40S&W Glock Magazine.

The convertible, with the two cylinders for .22LR and .22WMR, has been in production for many many years. A SS was my first handgun and I have a weak spot for them to this day. You can't go wrong with one. They are well built, solid and will last long enough to be handed down to your grandchildren's grandchildren.

I have a copy of the AD&D Players Manual and DM guide. I tried getting my wife into it, but she never dug it. She loves WoW though. Here is some useless trivia though, my daughter's middle name is Takhisis.

I keep going back an forth on this with my second lower. Part of my wants to build a dedicated .22LR, the other half wants to build a dedicated 9mm. The 9mm half wants Glock mags though. The idea of the Lone Wolf lower or the cheaper complete JRC keeps coming to mind though. I am just tagging to see what everyone else says.

What do you take us for to openly admit that we were dicechuckers or cardfloppers? I started paying 2nd Ed. in the late 80s with my father. They played a lot of D&D in the Navy when they were on deployment it seems. I started playing M:tG in the early to mid 90s around the time of Revised. I quit playing D&D around 2001 or so, when 3rd Ed. was becoming big, the D20 system simplified it and allowed a lot of casual players in, which was nice, but for those of us that began with AD&D, it was hard to imagine the concept of actually rolling a character and playing a campaign in the same night. Blasphemy I tell you. I quit playing M:tG around the same time, one of my brothers is still big into it, he took me to a tourney a few years ago and I got my ass handed to me by a nine year old. I cried.

The only downside is that you have to buy their ammo, which is marked up a bit more than Walmart. The good side is that they have a plethora of 9x19mms to choose from, meaning that for the cost of a couple of boxes of ammo you can shoot a Glock, a Dan Wesson 1911, a Beretta and a Sig all in the same caliber without having to buy another.

Christmas Vacation is finally over. I dropped my heathen off at school this morning. You would think, with this being her first year of school, that Christmas Vacation, or Winter Break if you prefer, would have seemed normal, what after five years of her being home every day; however, it threw the cycle of things off pretty severely. Now, I don't want to come off as seeming like a self centered person. I am not, anyone that knows me knows that my daughter is my number one priority and my pride and joy. Anyone that is not a parent I don't think could understand, but parents should get it. She has changed my life so drastically that those that knew me before don't believe that I am the same person. That is a great thing. In many ways. Since she started school my wife went back to work. That has been a great blessing. Having a full time stay at home parent is valuable, but it is hard to live on one income, regardless of what my tax bracket may say. I have settled into a nice daily routine. I had to find something to fill several hours of my morning since I take care of the morning preparations. I don't go into work until 11am, however, I start my day at 6am. I wake my heathen, get her dressed, feed her, make her lunch (even though she wants to be a lunch buyer!!!) I drop her off at school at 7am, and then head to the gym. This has been a major improvement in my life. I am not out of shape, exactly. I have a few extra pounds on me, but that is bound to happen when you finally work your way to a desk job. After several years of working a physically demanding night shift job, a few years ago I was promoted from a supervisory position to a management position. Now, instead of being a hands on doing guy, I sit at a desk and watch numbers. I enjoy it, but at times I am bored out of my skull, because I would find it easier to just do it myself, than create a protocol of how someone else should do it. So the inactivity and stress has put around thirty pounds on me. Now I have gotten into the routine of spending a couple hours a morning at the gym, working the weight off and getting back into some semblance of shape. Through exercise and a slapped together diet I have lost over twenty pounds over the last few months. I have been taking vitamins, stopped eating out and honestly I feel great. Christmas Vacation was two weeks of inactivity. I slept in, ate what I wanted and just lounged around the house most days until it was time to go to work. I even found this slothfulness creeping into my work attitude. To combat the inactivity of my preafternoon work, I have taken to helping other departments in what ways I can. Last week I don't think I did a thing other than sit in front of my computer and tinker. So this morning I dropped my daughter off and took my happy little a** to the gym. I feel great and I am gonna carry that attitude to work with me.

I sold a numbers matching late war M44 for $225 a few months ago. I needed the money and I knew it would move at that price. They are great guns. I kinda wish I had kept it, but some things came up.

Glad you guys had a good time, I hate that I missed it.

The utter reliability of a pump as well. What is going to happen when your semi-automatic shotgun fails to cycle the low recoil buck shot you loaded it with? Then there is the financial factor as well. For a gun that is going to sit around a lot and be used a little, why do you want to spend $800 when a $300 shotgun will do all the same things? But what do I know, I am still in the double barrel crowd with a Rossi Overland SxS.

I am not gonna make it today folks. My wife has other plans for me. That and she won't be getting off work till afternoon.

This is old. I think I first read this like five years ago.

The first time I went to CCA I was browsing during a very busy time. I felt brushed off and didn't really care for the vibe I got. I didn't go back for nearly a year. During that year I took several coworkers shooting with me and they decided to buy Glocks. I told them that from my experience, CCA had the better prices, but their customer service was lacking. Three of my coworkers bought Glocks from them with great results. After that I began using their range on a semi-regular basis and found them to be completely different than my first visit. They were approachable and friendly. I have since become a regular customer to a degree. I use their range at least once a month, I took my HCP class there and I have taken several folks there to shoot and rent guns when I feel their needs might be better suited than immediately choosing a Glock. I recently used them for a couple of transfers, and the process was so painless that I will have to say, I am happy to do business with them. Their information was all posted on their website, I used that information for shipping, including the fax numbers from the buyer and CCA, sent an email to both and everything went smooth and flawless. It was my first time doing a transfer, so I was a little nervous about the process, but after it was complete, I was amazed how simple it was. I was most impressed that I never had to pick up a phone through the whole process as I was kept updated through emails. I understand that a lot of folks have had bad experiences with CCA, but we have all had bad experiences with a shop at least once. I was glad that I gave them a second chance. Bill's in Maryville and CCA have become my favorite vendors in my area thanks to a good selection and good service.

My parents encouraged my left-handedness, however I learned, much like every other right brained person, sometimes it was just easier to do it backwards and learn to do things like the right-handed folks. Out of high school I went to work in the sewing factories in the cut rooms. All the Eastman Cut Knives were right-handed, but being able to cut with either hand put me leaps and bounds ahead of anyone else in the cut room. Being right eyed dominant had a fair bit to do with it. I favor my right hand for shooting, though I am competent with either hand. As of now, the only thing I can do better left-handed is write. Otherwise, for all intents and purposes, I am ambidextrous.

You can get a Ruger 10/22 from Wal-Mart, Academy, Bass Pro, Gander Mountain and probably most smaller dealers at the $200 mark. If you intend to tinker on it, as I do, there is no reason to buy anything more than the basic cheap carbine. However they come in over a dozen flavors. They start at $200 and go up from there.

I want one so bad, but I can't bring myself to buy one. They have horrible reviews, are supposedly completely unreliable and utterly worthless as anything other than a picky range toy. But I still want one so bad I can't see straight. I bought a Ruger 10/22 and lots of mags. The Ruger is a much better value with a proven record.

I am on unlimited, I doubt I could be on anything else.

Sure, as long as it isn't loaded. -
I bought a pair of lowers from PSA. I checked the website of the FFL I was going to use, they have all of their information posted. I used their shipping address with my name, sent an email to them and let them know to expect it. I was updated through the entire process and never once had to pick up a phone or talk to a person. To be honest it was a ton simpler than I thought it was going to be.

I get a subgun and pray and spray. The only way I have gotten any kills other than assists and the distracted snipers.

I haven't scoped it yet. I started spending money on AR parts. Between that and Christmas I have been lucky to get out to shoot three times since. That is the worst part about this addiction, there is always so much more to get.

360 here as well. I try not to play the new games. I like the multiplayer, and I suck at it, so I find it less stressful to play the older titles, without all the kids and elitists. I am still playing MW1.

I hope it gets published. I fear it won't though, it is rational and contains facts.
