AK Mags and Cosmoline
monkeylizard replied to shotgunshooter's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Me either, but I've never let them soak in the Simple Green. I just disassemble them, drop the parts in a bucket of hot water and Simple Green, scrub, dunk in a bucket of clean hot water to rinse, dry, spray with CLP, reassemble, done. -
It's actually more like suing the bar/store that served/sold the alcohol. The point of the suit was that they not only didn't err on the side of caution, but they actively helped the buyer lie on the 4473. Nobody but the buyer and seller will ever know the total truth, but the prosecution made a good enough case to make the jury believe that is what happened.

Shocked at what I saw at DL station

The ONLY way I could see that being remotely useful would be if you were still involved in an active gunfight when the police arrive on scene. Even then I'd think its value would be negligible. -

The light bar is probably for safety. People lock themselves out of their cars in some crazy places. If she's popping the lock at night, some bright yellow beacons could help her from getting run over while doing her job. To be fair, putting one on a white Impala with black wheels does smack a bit of trying to llok like a police cruiser, but plenty of security companies do the same thing. It's not against any law. Still, she needs to step up her game. Badges are so last decade. Now it's all abouth the sash. Bonus for her, the edging and lettering are reflective, so extra safety at night. My favorite part of that picture is that the guy is wearing a Brownell's Law Enforcement shirt. Doh! -

That depends on the gun. I find that GnL's cash price out the door is pretty dang close on many of the commodity guns like Glock. I think the last one I got up there ended up being $15 more than the best online price + shipping + transfer. Since they included a free range pass with purchase, that made them only $5 more and I got to walk out with it that day instead of waiting on the UPS guy.

That looks like a bank logo at a glance.

Hey....don't be copying my interior decorating! I linked to the old one so that anyone else just now discovering that we taxpayers got raped for a red square would be able to read the past comments on the subject w/o having to rehash it again. Not when the article in your OP is dated June. :D

This is the correct reading. Since yours meets 1 and 1(B ), it's a no-go for California.

AK Mags and Cosmoline

Yep. Got to keep those milsurp AK mags looking mint. Simple Green can strip paint too. The trick is to not let it sit. Just hit it and clean it. Follow up with CLP, etc. and call it a day. -
On the right side of the box office booth at the Green Hills Regal (and maybe on the left side too) is the list of "rules". It's an 8x10 sheet with small print. Towards the bottom of that sheet is the no weapons rule including a gunbuster the size of a quarter. All Regal theaters have the same sheet posted either on the box office or beside the entrance door. It meet the 39-17-1359 requirements for content. Nobody knows if that also meets the "plainly visible" requirement.

I really don't see that happening with the current laws. However, Hilldebeast has said she'd work to repeal the current law that protects FFLs from suit except when shown to be negligent, as Badger Guns was. No, I don't see this as a valid tactic going forward under the current laws. Yes, it will absolutely be used if the laws are changed.

They have power and access to loads of supplies in the nearby cities. Why don't they have a surveillance system? They need cameras on the walls with motion detectors, plus the same on every roadway within 5 miles. Grab a few bucket trucks and start running cabling. A couple of cameras on the quarry would have been a great way to keep remote watch on their natural walker trap. Step 2 is to set up a bunch of Morgan's walker traps to catch stragglers, plus remote-triggered explosives along the roadways and the perimeter for non-walkers.
-
Bulldoze the ones up on the road out off the side into the pit. They die when they splat. Backup and do it again as more come up the road. Use 2 or 3 hardened dozers to keep it cycling and cover one another. Leave a few walkers in there to keep calling in more. Go back every few weeks/months and wash-rinse-repeat. Set barricades at several points in case the road collapses when you're not there to watch.

Mineral spirits will cut it. I cleaned some up using hot water and degreaser. Followed up with a spraying of CLP and a wipe down. Done. -
As was pointed out above, even if the FFL's records are all paper, the manufacturer/distributor has a specific date when it was sent to the FFL. This gives the LEO and FFL a point to start in the paper records at the FFL's site (or at the BATFE warehouse if the FFL is out of business). Unless an FFL has inventory sitting for long periods of time, the 4473 should be located pretty quickly.

I think it was meant to show that in this case, it wasn't as simple as putting someone down who was a gonner. With the history between Rick and Carter, along with Rick's recent off-the-rails with which Michonne is familiar and the execution which Morgan witnessed, I think they're both concerned for Rick. It's that question in their mind of "is Rick killing Carter because it needs to be done, or because he wants to do it?". They both say to each other after that it needed to be done. That's true, but they both left unsaid what they were really thinking.
-
That's what I was thinking. Keep enough in there to keep calling in more, but thin the herd from time to time to keep the risk down. They could come up with any number of ways of killing them other than fire bombing.

You heard it here first, folks. Oh Shoot is a self-confessed street walker.
