  1.   Or worse....Fred PCP-head. Twice the strength, none of the twitchiness.
  2. Yep. Time is hard to get people to give. I've been a "big" for a few years (taking a year off right now) and loved it. The Match Specialists really do listen to what you have to say and try to match you with a "little" that fits well. They matched me with a little with a lot of common interests and because I have very little experience with kids, matched me with an older kid (H.S sophomore at the time) without discipline issues. He's a freshman at Austin-Peay now and we get together when he's home on breaks. We'll probably stay in touch for the rest of our lives.
  3. It was more of a comment on the 5-reasons alluded to by Pete123. I'm saying there's only one reason, and that's it. True that it does need to pass the reasonableness test as well.
  4. I was in fear of my life I was in fear of my life I was in fear of my life I was in fear of my life I was in fear of my life
  5.   I don't think that's accurate.
  6. You're correct that blue-label is priced a little lower than GSSF, but IIRC, you need to go through a blue-label dealer to use the GSSF coupon/certificate.
  7. I'm glad they killed off Paula in a hurry. Her accent was grating on my ears.
  8. You need the Type 001 for $34 which is the combo fishing and small game hunting. That's for squirrels and such.   For deer and turkey you then need to add on the supplemental licenses 009 (Big Game Gun), 010 (Big Game Archery), and/or 011 (Big Game Muzzleloader) for $34 each. You'll need one for each of your hunting tools of choice, but you only have to get the ones you're using.   If you'll be on WMA land for deer you need a 094 permit for $25 If you'll be on WMA land for small game you need a 091 permit for $25 or a single-day 092 for $12.50   For migratory birds, you'll need more permits/licenses and pay more fees.     Once you hit 65, you can get the Annual Sr. Citizen Hunt/Trap/Fish for $5 and can take deer with that but you can't hunt on WMA without the 094, 091, or 092 or for $50 you can make that a lifetime Hunt/Trap/Fish license. Or you can get the Annual Sr. Citizen Sportsman for $50 and don't have to pay for the WMA permits, or make that a Lifetime Sportsman license for $329   Additional rules may apply for migratory birds.
  9. Yep.   "Smile, wait for flash" is funny inscribed around a muzzle.....until the prosecuting attorney reads that to a jury.
  10. Guns N Leather is also a Glock Blue Label dealer and a TGO Authorized Vendor.
  11. Not everything modern is uglier than its ancestor: Some things still have panache While I agree it's ugly as sin, a WW2 destoyer could never do donuts like this. It's a 127m long JetSki.
  12. Sell a kidney and do both.
  13. That's the one. I also have a Saiga and a mini-Draco. I feed them steel. I mostly have Golden Tiger, but that stuff just gets more and more expensive.
  14. Sure am glad I scooped up that NIB WASR-10 from the classifieds last week before you all decided you wanted one.  :)
  15.   I thought they were saying the janitor was the only one in the building with a key to the janitorial supply closet where the gun was found, not to some luggage storage closet.   In most airports there's a pilot's lounge. If this is where the theft took place, then I could understand the pilot leaving his bag in the lounge while using the can.
  16. I PM'd toby1304 and pleaded with him to come back and tell us about the duffel bag....maybe it will work.....   :)
  17. If the show was condensed from 1 hr to 15 minutes, I'd watch. Some of the stuff that comes in is actually pretty cool, but getting to see it isn't worth all the wasted time on the show.
  18. Brass .223 is actually pretty cheap right now, all things considered. It sure beats a year ago when it was going for well north of $0.50/rd with M855 closing in on $1/rd.   Steel isn't as cheap as it once was, and the somewhat negligible price difference between steel and brass has me buying brass these days.
