  1. That's not true of all brands and they're not all the same. I had a friend in the lumber business. He recommended Timbertech brand. He said it made Trex look like untreated pine.
  2. I think you need to re-read the part I quoted, particularly the bold part.  :)
  3.   I think that you have to get that license from the city or county Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
  4. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Hamilton
  5.   Google owns Waze now so yeah, they're collecting massive amounts of data, but you don't have to give it access to your contacts list. It will use your location services as long as the app is on, so just close it when you're done.
  6.   I would generally agree since we have far more POTUSes than bill denominations, but as part of a limited time series I think it could be kind of interesting. I guess we'll never see this on $1 bills since they're doing it on $1 coins, but that's kind of a shame because almost nobody uses $1 coins. Maybe my idea above about each state picking an important person could be the next $1 coin series.
  7.   No, I don't want Obama currency, but I didn't want an Obama Presidency either. I'm not crazy about an LBJ, Woodrow Wilson*, or FDR currency either, and I can't say I'm particularly crazy about Lincoln for that matter and he got a bill and a coin. But if it was as part of a series of all Presidents, then sure. Obama is a POTUS whether we like it or not.   It looks like you may have dodged one on the $1 coin series as it appears to stop at Reagan, or maybe they've only published the list up through 2016. If so, that would mean an Obama $1 coin in 2017 or 2018. https://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/$1coin/ I think this is a cool series, but it's $1 coins and I almost never see them.     *Yes, I know he's on the $100K
  8. Keep in mind that in TN it's a handgun carry permit, not a concealed carry permit. With the permit you can carry open or concealed, your choice.
  9. I suspect that the electronic readers would probably prevent this, but I think it would be super cool to do a bill series like they did with the state quarters. Perhaps with the $1 where counterfeiting them isn't worth fooling with. Maybe a series of every POTUS, then a series of significant non-POTUS citizens. Maybe have one from each state and let the states pick their person kind of like the state quarters designs. I'm sure that would create a more diverse portrait set than our current 5 dead presidents + Hamilton and Franklin and might push more people to explore different parts of the nation's history when they see a person on their $1 who they don't know anything about.
  10. Then there's this great tweet.
  11.   Just don't start telling us how much better it was up north. That makes you a God Damn Yankee.
  12. Welcome to freedom(ish).
  13. How long is the class?
  14. I have a Belgian WW1 helmet, complete with the leather innards. You can still make out the Belgian flag painted on one side. It's super cool. I agree that if the last pic is a WW1, it's almost certainly a reproduction in that condition.
  15.   Serious question becasue I really don't know: Is it normal for a manufacturer to ship a vehicle without fluids? Granted a proper dealer inspection would have discovered that before the damage was done, but isn't the real fault at the factory?   Either way, it's stories like these that keep me from buying anything in the Chrysler-family. I know all manufacturers have their goofs, but it seems like Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep have more than their fair share. As was said above though, an older Jeep would be a lot of fun. Wish I had a place to keep one. The '75 CJ5 that Robtattoo had up for sale looked super cool.
  16.   That's 100% true, but don't let that keep you from asking for something more for your trouble. You won't get it if you don't ask. But don't be disappointed if you don't get anything other than your warranty-covered repairs.
  17. I have a Zero Water and haven't had the fishy problem. I test it every few months and it stays at 000 forever, then gradually goes up from 000 to 001 to 002, etc. It's not a sudden change. When it gets to 006 or so I change it.   The meter tests particles per million, but I'm not sure how small of a particle it tests. Tap water from Harpeth Valley Utility District tests at about 120-140 before filtering and 000 after.
  18. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=XAIMBCGNIBBDG   If it matters to you, I'm pretty sure these have the MIM gas key, not machined. At least that used to be the way they were. Their v2 version is machined. The description for this one says it's machined, but the accompanying photo shows it's clearly MIM.
  19. You should send them TCA 39-17-1311 that  tells them they're wrong.
  20.   This.   In theory, you're correct. Public street and park. The organizers can get bent. The catch is that you may have to prove that in a court.
  21. I understand it the same way Capbyrd described it. No will needed. If you're inheriting it (your Aunt as the executor is saying your uncle would have wanted you to have it), Form 5 for you and no tax. If you're buying it from your aunt, Form 5 and no tax for her, then Form 4 and $200 for you.   https://www.atf.gov/firearms/qa/are-there-any-exemptions-making-or-transfer-tax-provisions-nfa-0 Bullet point 4
  22.   FIFY!
  23.   Skip the disc. Already becoming obsolete. Just go straight to a digital file. Easy to "SaveAs" to new formats using most then-current movie playing software as they come along.
  24. Be sure to pick up some power crystals to focus the alien energy while you're there.   Beautiful place, but home to some real nutters. Kind of like California in a microcosm.
