  1. Isn't that custom stream the exact same thing as the "All Activity" already available under the "Activity" button? ETA: Nevermind....No it is not. The built-in All Activity shows every post, not just each thread. The Pete123 method shows each thread in order of its most recent activity which is better IMO.
  2. Yeah, I missed out on those $65 specials from CAI and J&G. Thanks for the info on other KCI products. Now that I think about it, I think my brother has a KCI happy stick that makes his Glock a Jam-O-Matic. I'll stick to East-bloc, or Chinese if I can find one.
  3. I found a KCI for $60. The cheapest I can find on a Romy is $80. I was just wondering if anyone has tried the KCI and had any issue with it to know if the 33% higher price of the Romy is worth it.
  4. Anyone have experience with the Korean made KCI steel drum for the AK? Wondering if they're junk or good to go. If junk, any suggestions on a good one? I don't mind spending an extra $20-30 for a good one, but don't want to spend that extra if it's not necessary.
  5. David, you forgot "They won't let me pick up any brass I see? I'll never darken their doorstep!"
  6. You're correct. The tines were to keep the mine off the surface of the tank, increasing it's effectiveness. They also allowed the mine to pull double duty as a Garden Weasel.
  7. Goodletsville Gun Shop is $25, but I don't recall if that includes TICS. I haven't done one in a while. Nashville Sporting Arms in west Nashville on Charlotte near Costco is $25 or $30 +TICS and they discount for additional. I know they used to not take transfers from Bud's and possibly others. Haven't been in there for years.
  8. Orca are made in the USA (Not sure where but their HQ is in Nashville and that's where they do all custom logo printing) and have a lifetime warranty Orion are made in Sparta, TN with a 5 year warranty Grizzly are made in Iowa and have a lifetime warranty Pelican are made in the USA (Iowa) and have a lifetime warranty Cabela's Polar Cap aremade in the USA (don't know where). Unknown warranty Coleman Extreme may be a mix. I know some models are made in USA, but I don't know if all of them are. Unknown warranty. Yeti Tundra series are made in the USA and the Philippines. (Yeti Hopper are made in China) with a 5 year warranty RTIC are made in China with a 7 year warranty
  9. I thought the same thing when I found that pic. It's funny, but I'd bet that the boys from F-Troop wouldn't think so.
  10. You caught me. I was carrying two, because my usual rig was a bit much for the summer heat. This is Vera. She's my most favorite gun.
  11. I had never heard of him before his video rant last year responding to proposed gun-control measures by the Obama administration. Yeager: "F*** that! I’m telling you that if that happens, it’s going to spark a civil war, and I’ll be glad to fire the first shot," . Haven't heard of him since then until now.
  12. TGO was founded January 2007. ETA: OS beat me to it. TGO David has a time machine because his join date is 2 days before the domain was registered.
  13. Use some thin plywood or lattice to block two sides of it and let it grow out of the box/bale towards the ground. Maybe about 2' high. It will climb the lattice/plywood some, but for the most part it will grow along the path of least resistance. Every week or two, move the vines off the board/lattice to keep it away from your other stuff.
  14. That's a great feature. Can that be added to the Trading Post? Seems like it would be useful there too. Optional, of course as some things are mailed and location is irrelevant.
  15. We found dinner at Bristol Bar & Grill on Bardstown. It was excellent. Clearly the highlight of the trip. That and the PSA booth.
  16. I'll wash those beans down with some of the organic marinara sauce and hot salsa that was also on clearance. That will make me extra prepperific! If you're nice, maybe I'll share some of the clearance priced peanut butter Snickers. Publix tip: If it rings up wrong, it's free. Watch the register closely on those clearance items. Free salsa for me!
  17. If you find one, be sure to let the rest of us Bellevue denizens know about it. I drive an hour each way to Gallatin Gun Club. There's the range out at Cheatham WMR I've never been as I've heard tales of how unsafe some of the inbred morons can be who like to frequent the place. It's a 45 minute drive. For 15 minutes more, I prefer to go to the much safer and usually empty GGC. Royal Range has a super nice facility and the people to match. It ain't cheap, and it's indoors, but it's the closest range that we have. Plus they're now a TGO sponsoring vendor. +1 to that!
  18. I know it's true at my Publix so I have to assume it's true at many other grocers. As they make room for wine, they're forced to discontinue other products, or skinny down the brand/variety of a product. My Publix had a crap ton of dry beans on sale (mostly Goya brand) in their new soon-to-be-stocked-with-wine aisle. Seemed like a good price to me so I grabbed a few bags. Not prepper quantities, but a handful of 1 lb. bags. I don't know how the selection and prices at your local grocer may vary compared to buying in bulk, but it may something ya'll want to check into. Plenty of non-prepper kind of stuff on clearance too at my Publix. YMMV.
  19. Ditto. My fellow travelers have already cancelled their Atlanta hotels. I'll keep mine for now, but will probably cancel it as well. Skipping 2017 and 2018 (Dallas) may make me want to go to 2019 in Indianapolis.
