  1. That pretty much sums it up with the caveat that if the vehicle is government or employer supplied, said employer can ban firearms.
  2. Thanks. I updated my post. I didn't realize that 39-11-611 had been changed to include vehicles.
  3. Anyone who is not otherwise prohibited from possession of the firearm (handgun, rifle, shotgun, all good to go) and is in lawful possession of the motor vehicle, may have it loaded in the vehicle. TCA 39-17-1307 ( e ) (note that an employer may prohibit firearms in a company-supplied vehicle)
  4. "Watching cows go through a cow tunnel" just happens to be the #2 Top Attraction in Wyoming according to TripAdvisor. It's right behind #1 "Making a mashed potato Devils Tower".
  5. That's already happening, but it's a difficult and complex issue. https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/monkey-cage/wp/2014/10/16/turning-the-lights-off-on-the-islamic-state/ Once ISIS is defeated, the Iraqis are going to have to try to put their country back together. Various sects already don't like one another very much (understatement), so the ones in power have to be mindful of how their actions will be perceived. If the Shia government is perceived as using ISIS as an opportunity to oppress the Sunni minority through cutting off their power and water, there will be a price to pay later and they know it, even if that wasn't the actual intent. Toss in the fact that ISIS has in the past (not sure if they still do) controlled some of Iraq's hydroelectric dams and will continue to try to take them in the future, it gets harder to "cut them off". It's hard to turn off someone's electricity when they have their own generation and grid system. The longer ISIS has to shore up themselves as a "real" government, the harder it is to employ methods like that. As for food, they took over large government food granaries and are using that, plus what they can bring in on the black market. that's temporary as it will run out, but as long as they can keep that going, shutting down food imports is rather ineffective.
  6. Lol. I misread that whole post as Hi-Point instead of Hi-Power and thought "that's funny, right there"
  7. That farmer needs one of these: Cow Dog
  8. No doubt. When I was in H.S. I was in Air Force JROTC and we got to go up in a KC-135 and watch some Panavia Tornados with the RAF take on some go-go juice. One minute nothing but blue skies and green farms....then *POOF* someone's in line at the gas station.
  9. If you edit the first post, you will have the option to also edit the title. You could change the title to something like "Nevermind" or "Rescinded" then change thwe body of the first post to say. "I found what I was looking for" or something like that.
  10. Nice. That beats the bad old days of waiting for months and bugging the snot out of Lisa Knight for updates.
  11. This. I have always stayed around the water tower area and it has been great. I'll be going back for a Sox game at some point and would stay in almost any part of River North up through Gold Coast without hesitation.
  12. So far it looks like a w00t! garage sale on a larger scale. I'm unimpressed.
  13. I user loppers for most stuff and it works well. When I get into the bigger branches once a year or so, even the bow saw wears me out. Last time I just gave up and got out the old sawzall. I may try one of those plug-in electric pole saws. Thanks, everyone.
  14. In my experience, "do whatever you want" does NOT mean I can do whatever I want. That's a woman's way of saying "Do it. I triple dog dare you to do it. Don't bother coming home if you do it."
  15. You could put it over my fireplace.
  16. I use the metal tomato cages. Keeps them upright. You can go a cheaper route if you have a bunch and stick a tall stake (6' or so) in the ground beside the plant, then loosely tie the plant to the stake with twine. Just be sure it's in deep enough to stay when the wind blows.
  17. Anyone have experience with the battery chainsaws? I'd only use mine once or twice a year to take down 2 to 5 branches at a time. I'm thinking that over time, a small gas engine being used so little would start giving me trouble even with pure gasoline with PRG stabilizer. Pop Mech had some reviews not too long ago. seemed like they might be exactly what I want, if a little expensive for their size.
  18. Google Fiber: Google Glass:
  19. Yeah, do it soon. Staggering them over a few weeks is a good idea. I usually wait until late August to get my fall crop going because July feels too early.....then the frost always comes in right when things are looking good. I tell myself every year that I'm going to start them earlier, but I never do.
  20. Google Fiber....not Google Glass.
  21. I think you meant Google Fiber. Google Glass was the for-now discontinued always-on camera-in-the-glasses preferred by jackasses everywhere.
