  1. Several Tacoma models above the base model get the manual as a choice.
  2. Plus the Tacoma and the new Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon. Those twins from GM are nothing like their 1st gen versions. There's certainly no shortage of good choices in the small truck market right now. If only Nissan would release a new Frontier....
  3. I wouldn't be caught dead in a 1st gen. That thing's just ugly. But the new 2017 is a complete redesign, including a larger bed and they got rid of those butt ugly buttresses. It looks a lot more like a Pilot with the back chopped off now. It doesn't have the chops of a full size work truck, or the off road abilities of a Toyota Taco, or the performance of a street truck, but if you need a vehicle with road manners and good mileage that can occasionally haul some stuff (but not really heavy stuff) and don't mind some of the weird things Honda always does that nobody but them seems to understand, it's worth a look.
  4. If you want one that goes bang, you won't go wrong with either. Beauty is subjective, but I think (and I think many agree) S&Ws are much better looking.
  5. I found this pretty good review of lots of different brands over on F&S. http://www.fieldandstream.com/articles/fishing/2016/03/ice-chest-throwdown-12-top-end-coolers-ranked-and-reviewed
  6. Most places have already renamed it "The Value Menu" or similar. Lot's of stuff on them is now >$1.
  7. That would still count as lying on the fed form.
  8. Whether it's phrased in a way to make the product or the action the illegal part makes no difference in fed law. As OS and xsub said, if a person uses marijuana for any reason (medical, recreational, religious, or other), they're using an illegal drug and using a drug illegally as far as the feds are concerned.
  9. Depends on whose laws you're looking at. Though some states have decriminalized it, the fed has not. Since it's a fed form, rephrasing that question makes no difference.
  10. The crazy thing is that they spelled "biscuit" correctly.
  11. Honestly, I don't know, but if it was clearly a firearm and not a laser pen? I'd have probably fired and would almost certainly be legally justified in doing so. If that doesn't rise to the level of a reasonable fear of life, I don't know what does. I hope I never have to find out.
  12. ORCA is based here and used to be made in Sparta by Jackson Kayak. Jackson Kayak started making their own line called Orion and I don't know if they still produce coolers for ORCA or not. I can't find any info online about where ORCA coolers are made these days except "Made in the USA". Maybe it's still Jackson Kayak making them, but I don't know. The company HQ is based in Franklin. As much as I'd like one, I just can't justify the cost. I was planning on 3 coolers from Atlas for the price of 1 from ORCA.
  13. For the OP I'm assuming that the shower water washed the Icy Hot all over the place, giving him that magical tingling feeling in places he didn't want it.
  14. I'm out. Cancelled and keeping my fingers crossed for a refund before I have to escalate with the CC company. I noticed something odd today. Under each cooler in their Shop is a list of features. One of them is a URL labeled "Perfect Storage Capable" but that URL links to a different brand, absolutezerocoolers.com. AZC has the same kind of Shopify website but has a PO Box address in a suburb of Houston. Atlas has a PO Box address in Fredricksburg, TX about 5 hours apart. The products are pretty much identical except for some color choices and a few add-in doodads. It makes me wonder if Atlas is going to be lights-out and simply reincorporate as this Absolute Zero company. Or maybe it's two different people like brothers or something. Who knows at this point. Either way, it's not worth the risk to me.
  15. You can cancel the order via their site. Just login to your account and cancel. Shopify will immediately cancel. Rokslide folks were getting refunds within a few days, but that may or may not have slowed down this week. Unknown. If you didn't create an account when you ordered, you can create one using the same email address you used for the order. It will automatically link your order to your account based on the email address.
  16. Hey, that guy has the same tattoo I have, and has the same holster and gun I have, and he has the same shoes, and he was shopping at DG on Saturday too. What are the odds of that?
  17. Merry Christmas?
  18. I agree with DaveTN. Wearing a firearm and holding a firearm are two different things. You did the right thing.
  19. I was, but KahrMan hit on the specific incident I was referring to. http://nashvillecitypaper.com/content/city-news/rex-radnor-lake-rambo-returns
  20. Was it an Army or Navy pistol carried on or about the hand?
  21. I like to think he's back with Gilda. He really loved her a lot.
  22. This ^^^^^ Weight makes all the difference and the only thing that will tame that is a really good belt and holster. The lighter the gun, the easier it is to fudge on that. For me, anything Glock G26 and larger/heavier requires a gun belt. Even with a gun belt and good holster, I personally find anything heavier than that uncomfortable. The G26 is borderline for me and I rarely carry it. I'm sold on the single-stacks like Glock G43, M&P Shield, Kahr PM9, and Ruger LC9. I can wear pretty much any belt with those and they work fine. A gun belt just adds some extra which is nice but not necessary. Anything bigger than those and you'll need a gun belt.
  23. I'm probably holding out until around Sept 20th. If the Sept 15th date pushes again, I'll probably cancel my order. The cynical side of me wonders if the delay is intentional to get people to cancel and cut down on these free-shipping orders.
  24. All of the cooler sizes say Sept 15th. No apologies needed for me. You just passed along info on a group buy. So far I'm not too worried about it. Refunds seems to be coming within a few days for those who have cancelled. I plan to wait it out.
  25. I sent this to the OP in a PM, but thought others might like the opinion too: I have several and think they're great. It's all I use. One thing that I really like about it is that I can remove the gun and leave it holstered the whole time and not have to fool around with hooks, loops, velcro, etc. Like dawgdoc said, that's handy for the crapper. It works very well for small single stacks like my Kahr PM9 and Glock G43. The Kahr PM9 is my EDC but will sometimes switch to the Glock G43. I also have one for my Glock G26, but that double-stack thickness is a little much for me to do IWB comfortably. The SW 3913 is small enough to work in a Remora, but it's kind of a heavy gun for its size relative to the plastic fantastics. I think it weighs about as much as a Glock G19 which is considerably more than a Kahr PM9 or Glock G43. I don't know if that would be a problem or not. When I use a Remora with my G26 (only slightly lighter than a G19 and your SW 3913) it stays in place just fine but it has the added thickness (more pressure) from the double-stack thickness. I suspect the size of the SW 3913 would make it easy to conceal but the weight of it would let you'll still know it's there. One of my holsters has the attached magazine pouch forward of the gun area of the holster. Like this one, but for the Kahr PM9 instead of the Sig as shown: This makes the holster wider (front to rear when wearing) creating more surface area. That one stays put all day long. I mean, it will shift a little bit, but never so much that I think it's going to fall down my pants or squirt out the top. This is my preferred Remora holster by far. Most of the time I have to stop and really think if I'm wearing it or not. I honestly forget it's there, but I don't know if that's due to the Remora or the lightness and size of the Kahr PM9. You might still need to use a gun belt with its thicker leather to create a solid pressure point because of the weight of your SW 3913, but maybe you could use a regular belt. With the Kahr PM9 and Glock G43 I can use pretty much any belt I want, including soft cloth belts, because they're so light. I'm not exactly a fashionista, but I don't walk around looking like Walter from The Big Lebowski either. Most gun belts have zero fashion, so I prefer to not use them. When I occasionally carry the Glock G26, I use a Comp-Tac gun belt to stiffen things up. A tip: I don't bother with the RFT (reinforced top) option. It's just some thin plastic in the upper half of the holster between the layers of rubbery stuff. It's supposed to make it easier to reholster, but the truth is that it cracks after a few weeks/months of regular use and just sort of makes the whole thing feel kind of weird. Even before it cracks, the Remora works by the pinching pressure of your body and your pants/belt, so it kind of crushes the RFT plastic anyway. My first one I went RFT, then switched to regular and never did RFT again. Maybe it works better for full-size guns, but I don't know.
