It's because they took a perfectly normal intersection and made it near impossible to know exactly WHICH road you're exiting onto unless you're a regular user who's memorized it. The signage absolutely SUCKS. You can't read the street names until you're either exiting onto it or already passing it. I'm only in that thing once every several years and invariably have to cut across some random alley or side street to get to the road I THOUGHT I was exiting towards.

Mrs. 'lizard and I just returned from a few days at New River Gorge which is the newest to reach National Park status. It was a great trip. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a few days away. The hiking trails vary for all skill levels and if you're into adventure, there's lots of rock climbing and of course river paddling. The Bridge Walk looks AMAZING but Mrs. 'lizard is afraid of heights and by the time she talked herself into doing it, it was booked up, so if you want to do it, book that ahead of time. There are plenty of scenic drives for the less adventurous types. 1 to 2 full days is probably plenty for most folks in the bridge area. Of course if you're doing the river paddling or other adventure tours stuff, that will take up more time so account for that. We didn't venture southwards to the rest of the park down around Beckley, WV. There's a mine tour/museum there and an old mining/rail ghost town that looked neat and would probably be worth a day to explore. Maybe for the next visit!

How does one dress for an Air Supply concert?

As long as you didn't see Liberace KISS AC/DC -
My generation learned to drink with Mad Dog, Colt, and MGD. This generation drinks White Claw. We are not the same.

I blame Glock's dumb numbering system. I swear it's as bad as Por-shah's. Must be a Teutonic thing.
-
@10-Ring I think you may have missed that Moped got the Glock 21 trade-in which is .45 ACP. Not the Glock 22 which is a .40. So you suggested Moped change his .45 to a respectable caliber . . . oops.

I also agree that he'll be added to the HoF this year. The ban was a lifetime ban and that has now ended. It struck me as odd that he wasn't reinstated within the past few years as sports betting has become socially acceptable and very mainstream. It's no longer the world of back room bookies.

Not really other than MLB has a strict no-gambling policy, for or against your own team doesn't matter. It was meant to eliminate managers or players fixing games (like the 1919 White Sox), but fixing a game only works when betting against your own team, not for it so there's really very little (ie none) indication of corruption in Pete's case. The punishment was meant as a warning to others and Pete was made an example by the Commish.

If you're patient, Kel-Tec sometimes does rebates. I got one last year (G19 mag well) from Palmetto State for 379.99 plus a $100 rebate from Kel-Tec so $280. With tax, shipping, and transfer/TICS I ended up all in out the door for $364.81.

Always reminds me of one of my favorite Dukes of Hazzard episodes. Boss Hogg awards the contract to pour new sidewalks for the town to Hogg Cement Co and he warranties the concrete for 1 year. He has dynamite poured in with the concrete and on day 366 he blows up the sidewalks and awards himself the contract again.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is hilarious. Easily as funny as the first one, maybe even more so. I'm trying to find in my schedule to watch Reagan, but no luck so far. Maybe tomorrow. Looking forward to Speak No Evil, also. James McAvoy can definitely play an unnerving psycho. -
I think Guns & Leather was. Don't know if they still are.

Because you said the quilt is in storage at the TN State Museum. The state museum and the state archives are next door to each other and work closely with one another. I'd start with the museum though. If they have the quilt, they may also have the letter.

More fun, though.

D& T Arms. That was a good shop. I've never had anything but excellent service from Phil and his team at Goodlettsville Gun Shop. I always do my transfers there even though it's less convenient than 3 other stores who have all given me poor service in the past. If I'm ever looking for something specific, they're the first ones I call to see if they can get it for me.

Agreed. I saw it last Thursday. An enjoyable ride but left something to be desired in the last act. I liked the not-so-subtle Easter egg of the Science Officer android's name. -
It's sad that they're trying to throw off the blind driver. Those numbers are out of order. The Braille labels make it: 4 5 6 R 1 2 3

That's a great price for anyone looking for an optics-only 10/22. Here's a working link: https://palmettostatearmory.com/ruger-10-22-carbine-22lr-18-5-10rd-rifle-black-31210.html

Same here. It was an enjoyable streaming movie. I also liked "Bright". It's a Netflix one with Will Smith as cop in a modern-day world but with fantasy creatures like Orcs and stuff. I was left wanting a Pt2 to see where they would go with the story, but I don't think that's happening. -

It does look promising but I have a high level of confidence that Kathleen Kennedy will make it chock full of woke agenda garbage. I hope I'm wrong because it looks like a great idea. -
Correct. You'd need to draw too much current on undersized wiring to generate the heat to start a fire. The printers don't pull enough juice for long enough to be an issue.

The circuit could be 15A or 20A, depending on the age of the house. Newer homes are mostly 20A on outlets, but it wasn't that long ago that 15A was the norm. The breaker for that outlet will tell you. But I think you're overthinking it. The peak power draw on laser printers is very brief when they first power on. I wouldn't worry about it. Since you stress-tested it with powering them all on at once and printing on both at the same time and the breaker didn't trip, then your normal load will be well under the max. As for the power strip, it may have either a 15A or 20A fuse. If it's a 15A on a 20A circuit, the fuse will blow before the breaker trips. If it's a 20A fuse on a 15A circuit, the breaker will trip first. If they're both 15A or 20A, it's a crap shoot which will go first on an overload. If there's no fuse on the strip, it's basically dumb and will take as much power as you can feed it until it melts, but a breaker should trip long before that happens.
