  1. By that logic, dear ol' Charlie Manson should be out on the street. He never killed anyone. All nine Manson Family murders were committed by others. Conspiracy to commit murder comes to mind, but I don't know if that can apply in a suicide case.
  2. Check out Bliss Home in the Melrose area. They're a Tennessee company which started in Knoxville and opened a location in Nashville a few years ago. http://shopinbliss.com/contact/#bliss-home-nashville We found a great sofa there which was actually made in east Tennessee, but right now I can't remember the brand.
  3. I use a yoga mat that I picked up cheap at TJ Maxx. Lighter and smaller than carpet.
  4. That's the first NRA Wall of Guns!
  5. It looks like a VW Beetle in the background, and not a particularly new one at the time the photo was taken. I'd guess the photo is late 60's/early 70's at the oldest. Could be a current photo with a B&W filter.
  6. I keep my gun concealed and don't pull it out for other guys to examine, so we'll never know.
  7. I keep a large caliber gun handy when I'm in the shower.
  8. Congrats! Now go out back and drag it through a mud hole, then sort-of spray it with the garden hose. That's the proper way to clean them.
  9. Bad idea. There's no way that shotty is coming out cleanly through the drywall. At best, the small panel of drywall comes out cleanly from the mud joints, but then you're stuck with a drywall panel on your wrist and a shotgun in your hand on the other side of that panel. Sounds unwieldy at best.
  10. It's too grainy to be sure, but I can hear it either way, depending on what I'm expecting to hear. A cleaned up audio track would be helpful.
  11. I generally like legislation that makes carrying available for more people, but in this case I have to say screw you, Mo Brooks! What makes him and his legislature buddies so special that they'll get to carry, but the Plebeians of Washington D.C. still can't lawfully defend themselves? He cites " Washington, D.C.'s rather restrictive gun laws " Then rescind those laws for everyone.
  12. Don't come to my place after the SHTF looking for good reading materials! You'll have nothing, and I'll have a nice collection of 1920's men's fashion advertisements. I'll just turn you away and go back to working on my tails and top hat ensemble.
  13. Any safe needs to be secured to the wall or floor.
  14. Something similar with a mechanical lock would be best, but I haven't seen one. A dial-combination or a keyed lock are bad ideas for quick access. Something like this, but on a gun safe, perhaps. But to answer the OP's question, yes, I have quick access to firearms available on every level of my home.
  15. If I had kids, I'd probably consider something like this. The finger grooves would let you get your hand in position in the dark, and then you just punch ion your combination pattern. That seems far more reliable to me than bio-metric scanners. http://www.gunvault.com/gv2000c-std.html The way my phone often takes multiple tries to read my fingerprint makes me not trust consumer grade bio-metric when seconds count.
  16. Hickock45 in a Borat-style slingshot mankini doesn't do it for ya?
