^^^This. Some SCUBA diving shops can also pressure test a tank. If there's one near you, give them a call.

Bersa, you can have the tank pressure tested if you ever want to fill it again. If it passes, the tester will stamp a new date into the metal. It's sometimes cheaper than buying a new tank, but of course that's only true if it passes. If it fails, you'll pay for the test and a new tank. For the smaller tanks, it's usually cheaper to get a new one.

If you're deciding between just inside the band and getting to the centerline, I might agree with you. If you're talking about outside the band vs. inside the band, I'd say the drive would be worth it. But the forecast doesn't look so great right now, so it may all be for nothing.

This doesn't feel as radical of a change as the last one. More like an upgrade than an overhaul. I like it so far. I enjoy some of the new features like the different kinds of reactions besides "Like", and the forum is definitely faster.

There's no such thing as partial totality. There's totality and there isn't. Click on the map link I posted above or the one from vontar. You can click specific spots and it will show the exact duration of totality. Along the center line, it's going to be about 2m 40s. You only lose a few seconds as you move away from that for the first several miles, but as you reach the edges, the duration falls off very quickly. If you're outside the boundaries, you will NOT see totality. You won't see the sun's corona or the diamond-ring effect, etc. It can literally be a mater of a few meters. People just inside the line will will get the show, but their next door neighbors will not.

Based on the 10-day forecasts, it looks like central and SE Nebraska will be the closest with good odds of clear skies.

I know it's still a ways out and the predictions will change a few times, but the forecast isn't looking so hot right now.

Does anyone know when the first honky tonks started up on Broadway? I know they were there in the late 80s/early 90s, but I don't know how long before then. I don't think they were there back in the 60s. My in-laws talk about going downtown to Cain-Sloan and Harvey's, and to some of the furniture places on Broadway. I've also seen some PBS specials on old Nashville in the 1950s and 60s and I don't think I saw any of the 'tonks then.

The 10-day forecast doesn't look promising. I hope I don't have to drive all the way to Nebraska, but that's looking like a real possibility.
